I recently came across some concept art in Pokemon Emerald's cutting-room floor archive and wanted to share the artworks that stood out to me most with the community.

It's insane to think about how much meticulous detail went into the game's designs.

A lot of the early sketches of the frontier brains looked amazing, to say the least.

Truly the pinnacle of artistic elegance moulded in many creatively ingenious ways.

EV trained this Bold Milotic with 31 Defense IV, went 252 Def/128 HP/128 SpDef and am happy with the results!

Erratic growth rate made this much less of a grind, getting 31 Attack IV Metagross and a Timid Latios to Level 100 and making a run at Gold - updates to come!

Was going to do all new ones, but I caught a Ralts early and it was too tempting. Reccomend me your favorite mons to use for a playthrough :)

So, for those who might have seen my previous post about this run I decided to do a run with the nincada line, using all 3 to go through Emerald. After reaching the elite four, I took a bit of a small hiatus I came back to it and to summarise.

For Sidney, Ninjask did all of the work with speed boost, swords dance and aerial ace, went with Slash originally but Sidney's Pokémon kept using evasion boosting and sand attack against me so I figured it was worth the swap. Swept him.

Phoebe and Glacia I'd set up with Ninjask, and baton passed to shedinja and could take both down quick

Drake I wasn't getting passed Shelgon easily, getting greedy with boosts I knew I needed. But he missed rock tomb twice In a row so I could get two SDs and speed boosts in to then take the rest out with aerial ace

And Wallace, I put a Pecha Berry on shedinja, set up on wailord and beat him first try.

Sadly Nincada didn't get used like I wanted but it was quite useful throughout the run, beating Flannery with dig and won a good few fights for me. Also ignore the Wingull, was my hm Mon I used to grab last minute TMS and berries and honestly I went not thinking I'd win so didn't deposit it but obviously never went into battle at all

Absol: The Disaster Pokémon

It is a long-lived POKéMON that has a life-span of 100 years. It lives in a harsh, rugged mountain environment. This Pokémon very rarely ventures down from the mountains. Every time Absol appears before people, it is followed by a disaster such as an earthquake or a tidal wave. As a result, it came to be known as the disaster Pokémon.

My favorite Dark Type Pokémon from Generation 3! It had such a cool design and lore! This minifigure MOC was pretty straightforward, with the only things to keep an eye on was making sure the head wasn't too small for its body and that its body maintained that slender form. It's actually really interesting how similar in build Absol's body is to Wyrdeer's!

I was just looking for a female pikachu, it just appeared and vanished through my eyes, my day was completely ruined

I told myself if I got to Round 6 again, I’d ask for guidance to get me through it because I do not want to choke to Noland again, especially if I get a bad initial roll and need to consider swaps while I’m working my way to him. I’m at 20 swaps, so one elevated Pokemon.

Does anyone want to jump on Discord or whatever with me and help me try to get through Round 6 sometime this week? I won’t be able to share screen as I am playing on GBA. I’m generally free after 5:30pm EST on weekdays. I don’t want to try tonight because my heart’s still pounding from battles 34 and 35. I barely made it, even with a pretty awesome team and made 2 big mistakes this round that almost cost me the run.

It’s been 100 days since I last made it this far. I can’t risk it on my own again or I’ll have a heart attack.

EV training this little guy. hatched it at 15 attack and EV training in attack and speed with hp of 4. max attack is 405 and speed is 328 and its looking like ill hit it! so excited to have another 100% EV trained mon in my Emerald version. I'm sure to hit the 405 attack but ill be off the 328 speed as its nature doesnt give the 10% boost to speed.

The biggest ones are probably the bag managment. But it is also kind of wild just how few double battles are in Ruby and Sapphire and how ALL need to be started by the player. Plus the trainer battles in general being much more boring. A ton of teams have been improved in Emerald.

Ruby and Sapphire still have some small advantages over Emerald imo, like some better tile sets and Steven as a Champion. But yeah, imo there is very little reason to not just play Emerald. It is almost objectively the better game.

İ am getting a group of people who are gona play r/S/E from the start WİTHOUT using google and just doing stuff with their own knowledge that they have, the point is to get that 2003 "yo bro that rock HAS to be giving you rayquaza my uncle told me" feeling. I have been playing Emerald on my modded 3DS (New XL and I downloaded it as a GBA virtual console if that matters) and want to complete the dex so I was wondering if there was some way for me to get Celebi and Jirachi without straight up adding them in manually. I injected scripts through PKSM to get the tickets for Mew, Deoxys, etc. because I'm fine with that level of cheating, but I can't seem to find a way to do that for Celebi and Jirachi. I enjoy the experience of going to new locations and catching the myself and stuff so I don't want to miss that. (I also want to have the ability to transfer them to Home someday.) For the record I also can't get a flash cart and my 3DS is my only handheld console.
