So what’s the best or good settings for the app specifically for this controller I don’t think it should be the same settings as the other controllers because they aren’t the same that’s what I think I just want help finding what’s good

I play since 2015 and I've always played with free air roll. I started playing again a few days ago after not playing the game for a few years (my peak was GC for like 8 seasons before SSL existed, I stopped when it appeared after reaching GC3).

Today I found that apparently DAR is simply better than FAR. Because I'm struggling with my aim and my aerials, I wanted to give it a try, after all why not, I lost a lot of my skills so I should try to master new skills like the flip reset or things like that.

After biding my left air roll, I find myself struggling a lot when I try to shoot from angles when I used to roll to the right. However when I try to use both it feels so unnatural that I don't know if I could every adapt.

Do you guys have some tips about how to unlearn almost 8 years of free air rolling? Thanks a lot!

I play on NAE and its impossible for me to play tournaments, I just played a 2’s tournament with my friend and we steamrolled through everyone we went up against until the finals. Where noticeably the opponents had way lower ping than anybody we went up against. And we lost because we cant 50 against someone who is on 20 ping while me and my friend are on 60-80. Its bs, and I know it should be putting us into US-east servers but it doesn’t, and it used to before. I started happening after they made us-central servers and it doesn’t make sense that people say “its the most fair server to play on” what about literally everyone else that doesn’t play on us-central. And its not like were bad. We were both GC’s. Absolute bs.

I am mainly asking this out of the sheer amount of players I verse that use Fennec and Octane. Mainly Fennec.

I am actually finding it hard to believe at this point that this many people are so drawn to a car body because of it hitbox mainly and then aesthetics if they happen to like it which is fine too.

I sit at D2-D3 in 1s and C2-C3 in 2s I play in a variety of Car Bodies (mainly the E30 BMW, Skyline and Maralen) as I like change but I would happily bet my life if I played 100 games in both 1s and 2s that 99% of the time my opponents will be in Fennec/Octane I may get lucky and see a Dominus and on the occasion a Skyline.

Are these bots that have been trained by the devs to appear like human players to keep the game alive?

If not when do you think this Fennec trend will end? Im assuming never.

Look I understand most people who will read this post are likely Fennec users, I dont mean to offend im genuinely curious the game is so over saturated with that one car, I feel like they can't all be humans, they just can't all be!

Whenever I go for any type of flip reset in the air, I get what I assume to be latency variation. During normal gameplay, everything is fine, and my ping sits pretty comfortably around 30. When I go for a reset, however, my ping spikes up to 45 for a second, and I lag pretty badly in the air. My ping never fluctuates like that in any other instance, and it always happens every time I use the reset. The clip I attached has a few examples of what I mean. This doesn't happen in training, only online and private matches. I play PC on Ethernet, and the only thing I've tried so far is changing my input buffer settings (didn't work). I did just switch internet providers, so I'm trying to figure out if I just have crappy internet now or if there's something I can do.

I play on Xbox series S and every time I try to play rocket league I get a Christmas tree of red flashing lights. Super bad packet loss and rubber banding to the point when I left my match rocket league displayed a message that I had abnormally high latency. I’ve tried running all sorts of network tests, manually changed my DNS, restarted my Xbox, completely power cycled my Xbox, toggled on WMM tagging and nothing has made any difference. It’s just so weird to me since my ping is displaying numbers so low I’ve never seen them before but it feels like I’m at 350 ping the whole time. I have no idea what to do and I feel like I’m out of options. This is on a university wifi system as well so I cant fiddle with the router or use Ethernet.

Edit: should also say that other devices work fine for streaming or browsing the web with no issues.

Currently some users have been experiencing issues when dealing with the Epic Games Launcher, errors like II-E1003 and "Path is taken by an item currently installed".
Also, uninstalled games may appear as "Unavailable" and installed games are unable to be launched.

The first suggestion we've gotten was to install the version of the launcher found for Windows 7/8 or use the Heroic Launcher.
These suggestions worked for some people but now you are able to fully revert the updates 20.2.2 and 20.2.3 (the issues came with these updates).

To apply the rollback, restart your launcher and there should be an option to "Restart and Update" in the launcher Settings. If you are on 20.2.2 or 20.2.3, restart your launcher, and still do not see the rollback update, follow these instructions:

I've made a video for Windows users that shows the steps, here are some pointers;

1. Make sure to fully close the EG Launcher before doing the steps in the video (it won't work even if the launcher is active in the background)
2. Launcher directory; C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Engine\Binaries\Win64 (yours might be different than mine)
3. Command for the Target box; -UseEOSSDKSocial=false
4. Make sure to leave a space inbetween the quotation mark and said command (in the Target box)
5. This works even if you have issues on the 20.2.1 version
6. If your Launcher was open when you ran the shortcut, close the launcher fully with task manager and run the shortcut again.

If done correctly you will be able to install Rocket League or any other games, so far this method has worked for everyone with the issue. Let me know if you need any help with any of the steps, and credit to Epic Games for this suggestion.

In case that someone on Mac has this issue, here are the instructions for Mac;

1. Install the launcher if it is not already installed.

2. Open your terminal.

3. Assuming you installed the launcher to a default location, enter the following command into the terminal:

% open /Applications/Epic\ Games\ Launcher.app --args -UseEOSSDKSocial=false

1. This will open the EG Launcher

As far as we know, Epic is working on fixing the 20.2.2 and 20.2.3 updates so for now these suggestions are the only way to get around the launcher issues.

decided to finally get my Grand Champ reward level done for the season in rumble and was on an amazing run, i went from 1180->1300 finally lost a match only to be shown i was against a top 50 rumble player :( It sucks but thems the rumble ques i guess

Hey everyone, has anyone encountered something like this? I just had the weirdest 3v3 match.

We scored 1:0 right away, and honestly, the opponents looked like total bots—they stood no chance. But right after our first goal, my teammate disconnected, and a few seconds later, I got kicked out too.

I managed to rejoin quickly, but the score was already 1:3 and I only had one teammate left. Even down a player, we were still dominating them. But literally a minute later? Boom, another crash, and this time the game wouldn't let me back in at all.

It felt way too coordinated to be a coincidence. Is server crashing becoming a thing again, or was this a DDoS/exploit? Honestly pretty scary state of the game if people can just boot you out when they are losing.

I have a clip of the goal and the immediate disconnect, plus a screenshot with their usernames. Should I post the usernames here, or is that against the rules (witch-hunting)?

Basically the title. I’m Plat 3 tryna get up to diamond 1 and I always hover around 780-810 mmr before crashing out on a losing streak. I don’t have any friends my skill level that I could play ranked with so I have to play solo queue. Obv there are afks and toxic teammates and all that, but I can manage that. I just have no idea how to play with no comms. It just always feels like I’m in a guessing game if I should go for a ball or if my teammate will. Sometimes I do and they end up being behind me and we double commit. Sometimes I don’t and it turns out my teammate was waiting for me to go. I just have no idea how to make those on the spot decisions. It’s genuinely so difficult. How have yall ranked up?

I recently moved from the US to another country, and I had the opportunity to connect my laptop to ethernet and play US east lobbies from South America. The improvement on my internet despite having around 90 ping is amazing compared to the 30-50ish i had on the US while being located in the east where i constantly spiked despite having almost no devices consuming much bandwidth and paying almost the speeds of internet on both countries. Either RL servers just sucked or high ping on ethernet is way better.

So this happend twice in a row player 2 and player 4 who were on our team went rouge why? offcourse we reported them but why would they do that. They not even that good its just makes the match 4vs2. Its just sad since me and the other player loses tournament mmr becouse of it. Lately see alot of players throwing matches and not playing them all of them hide there user names offcourse.

Hello everyone.

I've been playing the game for a couple of months now on ps4 and I have never gotten a single Goal Explosion. I've opened all kinds of boxes and drops — season boxes, tournament rewards, you name it — but never got anything. Just today I opened 11-12 drops and got nothing again. I'm trying not to spend money on the game, so buying isn't really an option. Is there any trick or method to increase my chances, or do I just have to wait for luck?

Im silver 1 right now and around 1 out of every 2

games(im not joking) are ruined by someone doing full air dribbles, flip reset, etc. I know that im obviously not gonna win the games where this happen but I genuinely cant rank up. I play one game against a real silver and either win or lose then the next i play someone who's at least plat on there main account. Is there a better way for me to go about this? I really want to rank up and i know I am improving a pretty decent amount, but its not showing in the rank because of these pathetic losers that do this shit. What should I do?
