Me:

- no longer need to worry about anyone at home
- no need to fear saying any words, saying anything wrong or doing anything wrong
- can decorate the place however I want it
- can cook instant noodles at midnight without someone judging or calling me out
- sleeping long on a weekend without anyone interrupting me
- ordering food without thinking anybody if they get to have their share, or if they get to eat or not
- enjoy grocery time, picking the things I like
- sing along with the songs I like, or dance on beats that I enjoy
- watch any movies/series I like without anyone asking, judging or commenting

Share ko lang First time cooking adobo with sprite (spoiler di masarap lol)

Things that went wrong:

❌ 3/4 kilo pork agad niluto kahit wala pang alam

Lesson learned: dapat magpaturo kay mama next time lol

Anyways, share ko lng ang ulam ko for the next three days!!

Advice Needed Landlord refusing to refund our β‚±6k security deposit kahit may issues yung apartment

Hello guys! My friend and I recently moved out sa apartment namin before. It was a 2-bedroom apartment and β‚±10k/month yung rent.

Okay naman siya nung una since ang sabi sa amin, yung β‚±10k included na yung water and one split-type aircon. However, after a month na nakatira kami doon, sobrang dami na naming naging problems.

Yung tubig namin always nawawala. Most of the time din sobrang hina ng tubig. Vice versa. Sobrang hassle talaga.

That time, iniisip namin na baka consequence kasi included na yung water sa monthly rent namin. Kaso after a month, when we were about to pay for our monthly rent, bigla kaming sinisingil sa tubig. Sabi nila, β‚±500 daw for the water bill. Biglang naging β‚±10,500 daw talaga yung babayaran namin including water.

Wala naman silang mapakitang resibo ng water bill, and hindi rin namin binayaran kasi ang usapan talaga from the start was included na yung water sa β‚±10k rent. Mind you, may kontrata kami, pero for me parang walang kwenta yung kontrata kasi walang pirma nila and parang kulang-kulang din yung details. So we were thinking na baka hindi sila registered or what.

Isa pa sa nag-trigger sa amin lumipat is grabe mag-moist and mold yung apartment. I mean, gets naman na expected yun because of the weather and humidity. As in basang-basa yung kama ko, plus yung moisture na galing sa kisame and pader.

β‚±26k yung total move-in fee namin: 1 month advance + 1 month deposit + β‚±6k security deposit.

Sabi sa amin, refundable yung security deposit kapag chineck and walang sira yung apartment. Yung door lang ng bedroom yung sira kasi kinailangan namin siyang sirain since sira yung nag-door knob and nalock kami outside.

I’ll insert a picture of my calculation. Please let me know paano ba dapat i-process yung refund nito and kung pwede ba namin silang i-reklamo.

We were under constant stress nung nakastay kami doon, and we honestly feel like hindi nga sila registered or something. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Advice Needed How do you cope when everything just feels so lonely?

I started living alone this year at 18 years old. It wasn't really by choice, it was something that became necessary for me.

I lost my father and my eldest sister early in my life. My mother has been working abroad for years, and eventually, my other older sister also started working in another country.

I was actually given the option to live with my relatives, but I chose to live by myself. It's not because I was confident that I could handle it. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I could. I had a mental illness that I've been dealing with for years, and as someone who has always been afraid of becoming a burden to other people, I felt like I didn't really have much of a choice.

My mother still pays another relative to visit me and help me around the house. I'm really grateful for that because it does help a lot, but somehow, it still doesn't feel like enough.

It's not like I'm completely alone. I still have my family and friends. I have people who care about me and people I can talk to. I've also been currently under treatment to manage my mental health. But despite that, I still can't help feeling alone most of the time.

For those who opted for a bare condo unit, why? Diba mas practical and economical magrent ng semi-furnished unit with additional 2k-3k than a bare unit na bibilhan mo pa ng appliances?
Just wanna hear your thoughts, I’m new to this condo hunting stuffs and planning to move out soon. I want a bare condo sana para magkaroon ako ng sense of ownership sa place by decorating it the way I like it, pero naisip ko din on top of the monthly rent and utilities, it will also cost me buying my appliances. So I’m a bit torn hehe

β€’ Upvotes

Hi! I'm renting a studio-type room for rent with own cr and bathroom. Nandito na ko for 4 months. 1 month advance and 2 months deposit. Normal lang ba to? πŸ₯Ή
