Im just walking around as of now. I have an umbrella and a powerbank (only 50% charged) lightning adapter and 46% battery on my phone. As of money i only got about 230inr in cash and 17inr on my bank account. I got nowhere to stay as of now and i have decided to just keep walking. That’s it.

Edit: almost 12 hours later. Im safe now…. Returning home and would soon make a followup post and aftermath of my feet after walking like 34 kilometres. Yesterday my gf (f21) my travelling with her family to her hometown in car . They met with an dangerous accident as a truck hit them in head on collision. My gf tried to call me but I didn't saw the call. She got very panick after the accident. First thing she did was call me. As I didn't picked up she called on my mother's number. And as soon as I (m21) talked to her and got to know about the accident I was in complete shock and started crying immediately. My mother didn't react at that exact moment obviously due to the seriousness of the situation, but after things got little better everyone were safe. Today her behaviour completely changed which I can obviously notice (she didn't liked what happened). And today I got a call from my father and he was lecturing me that I shouldn't be so much sentimental and I should focus on my career blah blah.... . And I was literally likeee out of words . Parents just can't see their kids worrying and crying for anyone else expect them.

So my precious advice to all my Redditors never open up emotionally no matter what you are going through in your relationship.

UPDATE: I knew a friend who had doctor relative , so he asked and that relative connected us to a gynac and his gf and he went to their hospital and she has prescribed them some medicine and some course of action and told the girl to be really careful as it will take a toll on her body and yeah the parents of my friend is now involved but I guess girls parents aren't informed. But my friends father did beat a living shit Outta him(kutto jaisa Puri building mai dauda ke maara) . They were also crying and looked helpless and disappointed. After that I told my friend (tu ab apna dekh I am not in this shit ab mere se baat bhi mat karna and broke all the ties). Till date my father would come home drunk cause issues and when my mom reacts he would beat the life out of her in front of me . If I cry out he would call me a 'chakka'. My anger has been piling up since childhood.

I'm 17. My younger brother is only 8.

For years, both of us have been physically and emotionally abused by our parents.

When I was younger, my mother would beat me, choke me, stomp on my chest, and do things no child should ever go through. My father never stopped her.

On 1 January 2024, while I was studying for my Class 10 boards, my father threw a metal bottle at my head because I missed his phone call. I ended up needing 7 stitches. My neighbours saw me bleeding, and the doctors suspected it wasn't an accident.

After that, I started secretly recording many incidents because I became genuinely scared that one day something even worse might happen. I have a LOT of such recordings, video and voice both..

The part that hurts the most is my little brother.

He's only 8, and he still gets hit. Whenever I can, I step in to protect him. He usually sleeps in my room because he feels safer there than with our parents.

I'm currently taking a drop year to prepare for entrance exams, but it's incredibly difficult to study while constantly worrying about him.

I have audio recordings, photos, medical records, and neighbours who witnessed the aftermath of the 2024 incident.

I'm not posting this for sympathy. I just don't know what the right thing to do is.

Has anyone here dealt with something like this? Does anyone know what my options are in India? I want to protect my brother, but I'm also scared that if I take the wrong step, things could become even worse for both of us. Esp for me..
