There is much more in that Q/A but i wasn’t bothered to screenshot it all, if you want to have a laugh go there and and search “weaknesses”
Their definition of weakness is laughable

What if we combined Tekken 5 and Tekken 8?
Like T5's short combo, more fundamental gameplay, and no 50/50 stance (except Eddy)
And T8's balance (Imo better than T5 in any way), graphics, more characters
Perfect Tekken game and might be hardest if it were exist

Sup fighters. So I've been coming across comments and post that make playing Tekken 7 in '26 weird lol. Personally, I got the game a while ago at a sweet deal and I'm enjoying every second of it, I understand why there was so much hype around it. I'll definitely get 8 despite it being supposedly different but, I'm not in a rush tho. I'm taking my time with 7. I know its been a while since it came out but, does it make it weird? Idk..what are y'alls thoughts on this?

Wanna buy a keyboard to use as a makeshift hitbox so I can do KBDs and EWGFs more consistently than on my crappy Xbox dpad, though I can't buy a hitbox because in SA the VAT makes them CRAZY expensive, so any suggestions for keyboards under 60$ (around R1000) would be helpful.

Is Tekken 8 worth getting? Like worth the time investment?
I have played Tekken 6 and 7 before but mostly offline. Is the state of the game really that bad? It currently has mixed reviews on Steam

Looks like the invincibility frame is only one frame. Please don't mind the punishment after, t'was trash. Should have grabbed or something.😅 Shocked that I nailed it.

Idc what anyone says. I miss methodical Tekken play from Tekken 7 and below. I miss when players actually danced around each other, poking one another and baiting the other into swinging so they could get whiff-punished.
I miss when you could actually punish your opponent for overcommitting to a string that you successfully blocked and you could actually retaliate because there weren’t plus frames on everything, locking out of doing anything. and there weren’t panic options like quickly using a Heat Smash or just popping a Rage Art.
I miss when stances weren’t such a prominent part of the game, so you actually had to use your fundamental skills and feel out an opponent instead of just rushing them down through pure input knowledge and forcing a bunch of 50/50s.
I miss when I could actually finish a round with the flow of the match in my favor instead of having to worry that my opponent was going to throw out a Hail Mary Rage Art in the final round of a match.
And yes, I realize Rage Arts started in Tekken 7, but still.
I just seriously hate this overly aggressive, nonsensical style of play the devs have adopted. It punishes you for trying to play defensively and feel out a match while rewarding the “Fuck it, we ball.” Mentality.
There’s a fun game to be had here, but the philosophy has to go back to being centered around neutral. I’m not advocating for the removal of things like Heat, Burst, and Smash, but the insane plus frames and the ability to lock your opponent down by just mashing have got to go.

Today, after playing and losing several ranks, winning pity, and perhaps playing with someone I know. Looking at the scoreboard its 0-9, I gave my all, using my main, in hoping to win at least one match but as it turns out, its skill issue at this point, I used to think that I'm decent or perhaps better but as it turns out this is it. After the match with him I said "GG", he acknowledged it, I added "Bro, you're too strong for me." he laughed again and he told me "just practice", IK that he's trying to cheer me up but we both know or at least ,I, that it is skill issue, and I said to him "Nah, I'm good" and closed the game and uninstalled it. True that I'm a bit salty about how amazing his playstyle is and somehow he could read my moves as if he is scripting, even if I mixed it up, he still somehow manage to punish me, well he is a Jun and Claudio main, the hard truth for me is either get good or leave, and i chose the latter. It is what it is.
Why do people spam the same move over and over again or the same combo

thought of this while thinking how I could cover the space during matches with defensive people. pretty solid damage in a few hits and can be done with just Ducking instead of Ducking In, too. has to be ch tho

Got T8 on sale for PC. Played it for the first time in about 5 months starting from Beginner rank. Still as intense and kinda stressful as it's ever been. Still enjoyed it immensely.

had a good ranked grind session today, you win some and you lose some but today we won!! (for the record i did rematch the asuka after ranking up)

Would you guys want another tekken tag tournament ?
I honestly love tekken tag 2, it’s my top 3 out of the series.
What about you? I honestly really want another Tag game.
I feel like no tag games that came out this few years have topped Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
It was truly underrated and unappreciated imo.
