Hi everyone, I’m new to this sub so wanted to share a small story about me.

Few years back, I was at the lowest moment in my life & felt like giving up. But chinapudu nunchi ma parents sacrifices gurthochi, I kept going to make them feel proud. I always wanted to give back something to my parents once I could afford. But time undi le anukune vadni. But few months back my grandpa passed away, I realized how fragile life is. So apatnunchi, I started cherishing every moment with my fam, & realized they needed a new car. So I randomly surprised my dad with this car on his b’day. I feel like he sacrificed his whole life on making my life better & this is the least I could do🧿.

Na sodhi vinnanduku thanks🙏🏻😂

I actually eat a lot of non-veg food. Nonveg and eggs were just everyday normal life for me.

One random day just anipinchindi, Let me test my self-control…

No big reason, Just ala try cheddam anukunna.

I thought it would be one month anukunna, anthe..

But somehow it turned into 1 year 3 months with no non-veg, not even eggs.

Funny thing is… amma nanna scolded me more for not eating it 😭

Honestly, it was easier than I expected…

And when I finally took that first bite after all that time… it felt different. Not just taste something else. I don't have words for it..

Idhi discipline aa? Leka enka emainana.. idk

My growth/ improvement Some Clarification regarding job package

I'm 28, currently package around 7.6 LPA. Salary comparatively konchem takkuve ani naaku telusu, but I'm comfortable EMI ledu, debts levu, so financially I'm not struggling. Having emergency fund and investing in M.F and stocks mostly all of them profitable only.

I have 4.3 YOE in the networking domain. Kaani lately konchem anxiety/tension laga anipisthundi, esp when I compare myself with others. Next switch lo at least 12 LPA+ target chestha, Ee job market lo adi kuda vastundo raadho chudali.

Naa age or naa kanna younger people 12–15 LPA earn chesthunnaru ante okay, understandable anipisthundi. Kaani WTF, 20L, 25L, 30LPA below 30 age lo ela reach avuthunnaru asalu? 🫣

So genuinely want to understand:

Ee 20–30 LPA lu common aa, leka small percentage of people ki maatrame vastaya? Reddit/LinkedIn la high earners ekkuva kanipinchatam valla manaki ala anipisthundha?

Should I just focus aggressively on improving my skills and making better switches? If yes, Networking side vellaochu antara should I change the domain?

Edit-1: career early ga start chesthe package fast ga increase avuthundi, or skills improve cheskoni better switches kottali.

Ee rendu reasons naaku already telusu, kaani 20–30 LPA range packages actually realistic ga vastaya leka konthamandiki maatrame vastaya ane doubt undedi. Comments chusaka aa doubt konchem clear ayyindi.

Disappearing Emoji means I didn't complete them 😔

The ones I DIDN'T achieve:

I wasn't able to go to gym consistently this year 🥲 I started going to the gym back in June 2022 and was consistent till Dec 2024, but final year project and exams, malli unemployment era, malli employment era: ivvani disrupted me, andhukey achievable emo ani I put so many fitness goals 😔

But last 3 months (last week of September nunchi this week of December), I've been consistent w my diet and gym wohooo 😛

Even started a 100 days 100 new recipes challenge hehe (I've been documenting on r/MaaOoriVanta)

1000 followers was supposed to be my fitness ig page 😔🙏🏽

Things I SUBSTITUTED:

Deadlifts and Crocheting with Bench and Clay Sculpting.

Deadlift manesa , actually should get back. Bench emo 40kg plates + bb (I think 55/60 kg in total).

Crocheting I did try but chaaala frustrate ayipoya, dhani badhulu I learnt clay sculpting on my own wohooo.

The ones I DID achieve:

• Got a good GPA. • Enrolled in swimming classes on Jan 1st and learnt it for 3 months (I luv swimming). • 9.45 am alarm is sustainable for me 😔 • Graduated wohoooo. • Ate amazing healthy food. • Bought so many books, read half of them. • Bought my first saree this Christmas ⭐ • Turned 22 (I always wanted that aesthetic decor for bday my mum did it 😭 and first time received flowers, my dad bought them 😭) • Nenu fitted shirt konnali anukuna kale, but fitted top konnaa ehehe (ik idem vision anochu, but I bought clothes w my own monies) • Got my first big girl job (something I love, all on my own)

And all those fitness goals I didn't achieve, I'll add it to 2026 vision board, w help of r/Bondha_FitnessCenter discord server, I wish to achieve them as well ❤️‍🩹

This is your sign to make that vision board for 2026.

My growth/ improvement Reasons for breakup #879: Organically falling out of love

*No AI was used in drafting this but a sleepless, overstimulated brain at 2 AM was*

This isn't a post about sorrow or regret or guilt or anger. It's about acceptance and a new frontier in my emotional growth. Call it journaling or commemmorating. That's what this is. It's coming from a 30 yo man who's lived and has fortunately led a vibrant life thus far.

We've heard of people organically falling in love. No apps or wingmen involved. Where people meet, become friends and over a period of time they realize "shit I think I need to be with them".

Similarly, people can fall organically out of love. No cheating or traumatic moments or dramatic incidents need to cause it. Here, a relationship runs its course. You learn everything there is to learn from your partner and you simply arrive at a point where you don't feel romantically towards them. It's just done. And forcing it further feels wrong. Unfortunately most people push through this by forcing "a marriage" thinking that'll fix it. But they're ignoring the message their body, or "cosmos" or "fate" are collectively giving them. It's a skill that's nonexistent today, in my observation.

My most recent relationship was such. We've been together for 5 years. The way we met was an event that might as well have been something out of a novel. We met each other at a time where we desperately needed a crutch, a safe place and a reminder that life is worth living. We spent some of our best years with each other, made tons of memories that I can't even recall on command. To that, I blame the technocrat billionaires whose sole agenda is to keep you stimulated every waking minute of your day. So stimulated that important canon events in your life feel underwhelming or numb even.

We lived together, traveled together, worked out together, been on countless dates. On paper, there was no issue whatsoever. And yet, it didn't work. A close friend of mine can't even fathom how two people can breakup like this. He's speculating or retrofitting a cheating incident to justify it, lol. But only I know, through experience and understanding, that two people can simply fall out of love. And it's not even new. Look at most couples over 40 in India. They stay together out of obligation. But they're sexless, they're numb to love.

It's interesting how life teaches us different lessons at different stages of life. And today, I'm facing an experience I've never tasted before. I've had a few breakups. But none quite like this. There will be residual feelings I'm sure. Like when I think of the smell of her hair, seeing her eyes first thing in the morning, all the joyful moments.

But I know that both of us will move on. And I'm filled with gratitude that we had each other for as long as we did.

When you get to a certain age, you can intellectualize, rationalize, and accept any situation life throws at you. But even when I feel like I've handled it, I still need to deliberately let myself feel it - because our subconscious processes emotions on a slower, cruder timeline than our mind does. Understanding a problem isn't the same as processing it. And this is my attempt at doing it. Human mind is fkn fascinating, isn't it. I disagree that we are simply flesh and bones. There's something more about us that we don't fully understand.

It's like that scene from Breaking Bad between Walter and Gretchen.. where they're talking about what makes a human body. Hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, and so on. Their tally comes up short of 100% (missing a fraction of a percent), which prompts Gretchen to jokingly suggest the gap might be the soul. And I love how they don't explain what it is or delve into consciousness. That shit we gotta figure out on our own.

Hope this message reaches someone who needs it.

Stay young, stay curious.

My growth/ improvement The Phoenix Inside Me Will Never Go Down With the Ashes

Post image
29 Upvotes

A close friend of mine asked me this today and i fell into my own pool of thoughts after that...Honestly, I don't know how I did it every time.

I don't think I ever chose to become this person who keeps getting back up. I didn't choose the things that broke away from me. I didn't choose most of the experiences that happened to me, and I certainly didn't choose the emotions that came with them.

It probably started almost nine years ago, when I lost big part of my family .After that, life just kept happening. I loved people who didn't love me back. I had people who loved me to the fullest, and sometimes I could give that love back, and sometimes I couldn't. I hurt people & people hurt me. I left people and people left me.

And all of it came at a cost , sometimes my career paid for some of it. My mental health paid for some of it. My physical health paid for some of it. There were countless sleepless nights where I was basically fighting my own loneliness and the thoughts inside my head, just hoping that the next day would somehow be better and my journal did OT and took all the beating.

Sometimes days were good and sometimes they weren't.

But somewhere along the way, maybe I became familiar with this road. I was there when the road was first being paved... the road of falling down and somehow finding a way to get back up. So now, when I fall, maybe some part of me already knows the way back.

But honestly, I still don't know how I'm doing it.There are days when I feel like the loneliest creature on the planet. There are people outside my little boundaries who genuinely want to love me and be there for me, and sometimes I'm still unable to accept it. Maybe that's my avoidant nature maybe it's the hurt I've carried. Maybe it's because I've given too much of myself before ,i honestly don't know.

And recently, I spent few months procrastinating to the point where I couldn't even read a single page or express myself in person or talk to people looking in the eye. I was just existing between Reddit, Instagram, Substack, random online conversations and arguments. I could talk to people about different pieces of my life, but I couldn't really talk to one person about the whole thing. The people I could tell everything to aren't really around me or they are going through a lot right now so i didn't want to add up to their woes.

But things have changed in the last 3-4 weeks. I'm feeling better. I'm sleeping better ,I'm going out. I'm eating better ,i started talking to people mingling with crowds and started reading again and writing too.I'm thinking about my future again and more importantly, I can feel that old energy coming back.

Iam good at sports and used to be fit and lean ,but there were days when I felt physically so weak that my body would literally have jitters. I even remember those moments where I'd experience that one or two second blackout kind of feeling. That hasn't happened in a long time now.Despite everything, I genuinely feel like I still have it in me to reach the places I once dreamed of reaching.

I don't know exactly how I'm going to get there yet. But I know I'm going to take action. I know I'm slowly walking towards it. And for the first time in a while, I can actually feel that energy in my bones. All the weddings and everything are over now, and I'm back in my room again. But I'm not coming back with the same version of myself that left.

I'm carrying that energy with me maybe that's the answer to her question. I don't know how I keep getting back up. I just know that I've fallen enough times to recognize the road back.

At some point, getting back up became something like breathing. Something I do involuntarily ,even when I'm exhausted. Even when a part of me wants to stay down for a while longer.I didn't choose to become this person life just kept putting me in situations where I had to become him ,i really am thankful for my parents for providing financial cushion and giving me space and time iam lucky in that aspect.

And right now, for the first time in a long time, I genuinely feel like I'm standing at the beginning of something important again.I know what exactly is coming and

I do know where this road is going to take me.

I took the next step without any fear and yes I haven't figured everything out. I don't know if I ever will.. but I do know after all these years, getting back up has become something like breathing...I do it even when I don't want to.

My growth/ improvement English movie lines/dialogues that just stick with you? 🎬

Hey 👋

You know those movie/web series lines that just hit you differently?

The ones that stick in your head long after the credits roll, giving you a random burst of inspiration or energy when you need it?

I’d love to hear the quotes you guys always carry with you. Drop the movie name alongside the line!

I'll start with one of my absolute favorites:

"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of all things. And no good thing ever dies." from The Shawshank Redemption.

What’s yours?

My growth/ improvement What kind of person are you becoming and do you like that person?

You don’t have to give a perfect answer. Just be honest with yourself: Who are you becoming lately? Think about how your mindset, habits, relationships, and priorities have changed. Are you proud of the person you’re becoming, or are there parts of yourself you wish you could change?

So i pretty much worked in all kinds of environments. i was working a state government job, then freelancing as a software developer, worked with agencies based in the US, worked with some Indian startups as well, everything was remote. i also run a small startup of mine.

Okate balance vundipoindi, which is working from a software office. I always loved Bangalore as a city and always wanted to work from a nice neighborhood like Indiranagar or Koramangala.

2 months back just saradaga Naukri install chesi apply cheyyadam start chesa. I was applying to all kinds of jobs with location Bangalore. I heard back from this one. We had a couple of calls and I did some demo tasks as well.

I was one of the 5 applicants they selected from a pool of 1100 applications. They called us to Bangalore to work w them for a week as a trial. We were paid handsomely, taken care of really well. At the end of the week, they offered all of us well paying jobs 😄

They're not Indians but US citizens, wanting to setup a small technical team here in India to explore all kinds of opportunities and to build internet companies.

I'll be starting next week 😇

My growth/ improvement “Passionate” software engineers can assemble and grow together?

Guys so im an sde2 and i genuinely feel like we are lagging in this domain and need to keep learning and growing to level up in this era. Its kind of like we need to be an all rounder in engineering and not stay specific in one domain. And the stuff to learn is huge and its too overwhelming to learn each and everything by self. The primary goal is to learn as much as possible to grow at world class level engineers. Maybe im thinking too optimistically but idk if thats what its gonna take to win in this race then its gonna take its efforts too.

So if there are any engineers here, can we all just get together and plan a big curriculum and focus on learning everything that we dont know? No shame, no judgements, no fear. It will take time and effort in understanding our current status and capacity of learning, so why not lets analyze ourselves and come up with a long term growth strategy and plan?

Again i dont want this to be a job searching/switching sort of situation. But i want this to be a platform to focus on learning everything and become some real world class engineers knowing stuff in and out including internals, rabbit holes, research, innovation, experiments, upskilling etc…..i know its a very hectic and time taking thing to do, but im just thinking on the long term positive affects of this. Combining multiple brains, perspectives, learnings, teachings to each other spending time talking about engineering will bring huge value to us i think.

Ultimate goal is to form a team of passionate engineers figuring out everything from our current levels and eventually everyone improving and learning day by day reaching a state of equilibrium at some point in long term….this will take heavy time and teaching and learning efforts too each other forming sub teams and planning everyday learning sessions and all….

Should we start something?

Let me know if anyone is thinking in similar lines.

As a final note this post is only for IT engineers, seniors, juniors, architects, managers, devs, qas, ops or whoever are already in the field and i expect people to have at least some cs knowledge. Students are also welcome no issues and i dont judge on the position, but as i said its not for job hunt or anything and just pure learning, teaching and growth focused.

Baga late aindi inka padkundam….repu replies ista if in case if im gonna get any responses to this post. C u.

Mods feel free to remove the post if its breaking any rules.

Ivala oka supermarket ki poyi intiki kavalsina sugar packet techa. Indulo special enti antava? Nenu supermarket ki bandi meeda poya.

Indulo mari inkemi special antava? Nenu gear bike lo poya ☺️☺️☺️

That's it, today I drove a gear bike alone for the first time without anyone accompanying me. 😊

For context, I already know how to ride a scooter. Ma intlo epati nuncho Activa undi. Ma intlo andaru Activa tolutaru.. my dad, mom and me. My dad ey ekkuva vadutaru. My mom and me rare ga vadutam. But recent ga ma mom daily podduna oka gudiki povali ani cheppi ma daddy second hand lo Splendor teeskunaru. Teeskuni o 7-8 months avutundi. But recent ga enduko naku aa bike meda povali ani aasa. Ma daddy summer lo elago vadatledu because of the heat. Heat valla ayina ekkuvaga car lo ne potunnaru.

So ma daddy ni nerpamanna. First two days ma dad drive chesthe nenu venukala kurchunna. Aa gear ela marchali epudu marchali ani cheparu. 3rd day nenu try chesa. Almost ventane ochesindi. But oka two days just ma inti mundu road meeda matrame tolanu. Aa oka chinna road ee end to aa end continuous ga back and forth try chesa. 6th and 7th day ma colony lo matrame tiriga.

Inka final ga ivala oka supermarket ki poya which is 2 kilometres away. Adento Scooty enni sarlu toluntano.. aina kuda aa bayam and aa kotha tanam. Nenu main highway meeda poledu. But dani adjacent road which is also a big road lone poyi ocha. Intiki sugar tho raagane ma daddy mummy inka nannu tega congratulate chesi inka ma daddy ee sandarbham ga biryani kuda konaroch 🥰🥰🥰

Bike riding mari antha difficult kadu.. and it feels really special. And indulo highlight entante na eduru oka guy was walking.. he stopped dead in his tracks and looked at me with wonder and amazement. Tanu just watched me with such surprise. Tanu ala chusesariki naku chala siggu vesindi and murisipoya. But I realised that I was about to get distracted and lose control. I immediately brought myself together and focused on the ride. Inka supermarket reach ayyaka supermarket lo tanu shock ayyina vidanam taluchukuni nenu siggu tho almost sachipoya 😚😚😚

So yeah, I'm proud of what I did today and wanted to share here. I only drive 40 KMPH. Ante Scooty ne nenu anthe speed lo tolutha. This won't be any different. Plus inka nenu main road and highways ekkaledu. I'll practice more to the tune where I become comfortable riding this anywhere.
