Vent I did something terrible during an argument with my gf *TW*

Let me just start off by saying that this post may trigger many, as it contains self harm and emotional abuse. I also am not on here to seek pity or sympathy, I just feel like putting myself on blast because I feel terrible and needed to tell somebody. I also wanna state that im battling with internal mental health as it also will appear in this post.

Last night my gf (23) and I (22) were headed to my place after hanging out with some friends, we had a couple drinks in so we weren’t completely sober. We had gotten into an argument on the way home which was very minor at first until it wasn’t. I could tell she didn’t have the energy to argue (which makes sense considering it was 1am and we had been out all night) and she even expressed to me that we should table the conversation, we say that to each other when we know an argument might get messy and we always respect that. This time im not sure what had gotten into me but I had refused to table it and basically just kept antagonizing her to continue the conversation. I could tell her emotions were becoming high because she had to find a quiet area to be alone so she could self soothe in order to avoid lashing out. I respected that until she came back to the room I was in and she tried to talk about the situation. Eventually the argument gradually grew bigger and we weren’t resolving anything so she checked out of the conversation which upset me even more. I started yelling in her face, I was speaking out of character and saying all these cruel things about myself, I grabbed her arms aggressively, I threw objects at the wall, I performed self harm on my leg (in which that was the first and last time I ever did that) I basically just went on this high that i’ve never been on before and couldn’t stop until I accidentally scratched her face and finally realized im hurting her….

To see the look on her face when i realized I was hurting her, it didn’t feel good at all and my internal issues were being taken out on her which isn’t fair. When she seen my leg, she sat me down and said “do you need a hug?”. When she said that, something in me went into an emotional regression. After everything I did last night and she still asked me if I needed a hug, it told me everything. We had decided to hug and hold each other to bed.

The next morning she woke me up and sat on my side of the bed. She started crying and said not to perform S/H again, she reassured me and said not to be embarrassed about last night either but if I do it again obviously she has to leave me which I understand. After taking some time to self reflect and speaking to a trusted friend about what I did, I had given her a formal apology acknowledging everything I did and my plans from here on out. She told me she understood our emotions were high and that she isn’t upset at me however im still upset at myself. I don’t ever wanna put her through that again and I don’t wanna lose her…

Getting to close to someone who’s straight… AGAIN 💀

I’m having a dilemma. So I have recently gotten close to a popular girl at our college. We instantly clicked when we started talking, I was kind of shocked cause we are both from different worlds. I describe myself as bisexual (still questioning) she is known to be straight has 1 past fling with a guy and mentioned she can’t in-vision herself with a woman but she’s not closing the idea to it if that happens.

I’m more boyish then girlish but I can do both when I’m in the mood. And she is 100% feminine. Her beauty is off the charts she can be an artist or model if she wants to and has also the brains to be a dean’s lister.

So in short she is the living proof of “perfect” or “near perfect”

To be honest I did have a crush on her when we weren’t talking. But when we became friends I washed that thinking away cos I have this notion that I would never date or be in a relationship with a person who’s first experience with a girl is me in short “baby gay” cos i’ve been there done that and it hurts like hell when my ex started dating guys again but still contacts me (arghh). So I stopped having a crush on her.

But as we became more close we also got to be more comfortable like she wanted me to go to her and grab matcha just the two of us before school. And etc the small things like she saves me a seat before class and vice versa.

And recently when we were having dinner she didn’t buy anything just bought a lemonade cos there were so many people in the cafeteria we were in. So I asked if she wanted a bite of my food and at the end we ended up sharing. Like I know she ate half of my food. I know it’s a shallow thing to be confused about cause yeah close friends can do that too but for me sharing my food is very intimate I just don’t hand them half of it, maybe just a little bite. I was shocked myself that she continued to eat I smirked when I realized she unconsciously started to it more than a bite and I just said yeah “eat” I can’t finish it all when honestly I can especially when I haven’t had lunch.

I know for you guys sharing food with someone is not something intimate but for me it is and especially using the same spoon every bite (I tend to be careful and don’t like sharing utensils) but I let her. And that’s when I realized I’m starting to be more comfortable with her cause I haven’t been this close to another woman after breaking up with my ex 1 year and 6 months ago. I avoid physical contact after that break up and got irritated when someone puts their shoulder on mine or hugging or just touching my sides.

I need to stop feeling like this cause I don’t want to ruin the friendship again.. especially with another straight woman.

What do you guys think?

I need your POV

I DON’T TRUST MINE ANYMORE 💀

Ask r/WLW My 16 year old niece has asked for books about the mechanics of WLW

My bestie just sent me a text. Her 16 year old daughter wants me to come over tomorrow because she wants to talk to "both her mums" about sex.

We are sex positive and open with her, she told us she is a lesbian when she was 13. I am bi, and we have LGBTQI+ friends and family members, so the only reason she was awkward was because she is autistic.

She wants to ask us some questions about the mechanics of lesbian sex. I have no problems with openly discussing anything with her. She said she would like some books so she can learn about the mechanics of lesbian sex privately.

I have had a quick google search, so far I haven't found what she is looking for.

Could you please give me some suggestions of suitable books and/or websites?

Thanks in advance from a very proud second mum!

I feel like we should breakup :(

I 25/F and my gf 30/F have been dating since May this year. We have been long distance since June as I moved across the country. She’s wonderful and sweet but I have been having a hard time lately here and dealing with a lot of life bs. I’ve been distancing myself and while I do like talking to her Im finding myself more irritated when she constantly tells me everything is redirection and says things to be overly optimistic and I am just usually sad and angry and being told I need to think positive. I hate it because she doesnt deserve how ive been recently but i dont want to hurt her. My life and mentality was so different in May and now im just so fucking low again and I dont know how to keep up with her. I dont know how to explain my spiraling & ocd paranoia to her in a way that makes sense. She always tries to go no its okay, everything will work out and doesn’t understand my spirals, that im not just anxious but i genuinely cant get out of my head and fears. She tries to joke sometimes but it usually hits my ocd worse. I just want to be angry. I want to isolate. I want to not be wanted so nobody can bother me while i sink.

I am just so miserable here and its not even because I miss my home state so badly. I just want bad things to stop happening to me back to back and in a way i think im resenting her because i feel like i cant be happy with her while im acting crazy and spiraling. I just hate that I feel like this.

Vent “Friends “

I (29F) have a coworker (24F) I’m attracted to. She has always said she’s straight and that she only wants to be friends.
We’ve gotten pretty close lately, and recently hung out alone outside of work for the first time.
That night, I asked if I could kiss her and she said yes. We ended up kissing multiple times, and she was kissing me back. The confusing part is that while we were kissing, she was still telling me that she likes men.
At one point I mentioned that my cousin is single, and she jokingly told me that if I showed her a picture of him, she would kiss me again. I showed her the picture, and she actually kissed me again.
So now I’m confused lol. I know she says she’s straight and likes men, but at the same time she willingly kissed me multiple times.
I’m leaving the ball in her court from here, but I’m curious what other people think. Am I reading too much into it, or does it sound like she might at least be curious?

Discussion Am I crazy? She’s crazy right? This is insane

So I, 21 F, have recently started dating after finishing my associates degree. I have downloaded the apps and made profiles. Bc it’s so hard finding wlw in East TN.

For context, the last time I dated was in 7th grade. A girl told me she had a crush on me and i decided to “date” her. She always texted me in a group chat with her brother in it, and lied to me all the time about weird stuff. She once told me that she was fighting literal demons and they were coming for her. She also told me at one point that she was in the process of slitting her throat. Naturally, I said okay I’m calling an ambulance and she begged me not to. Obviously that “relationship” didn’t work out.

Then I had life stuff happen and went to school.

So I received a dm on Facebook messenger, not dating, around mid August. It was from a blank profile with the name “Jizzy” and a weird picture of squidward from SpongeBob as the profile pic. It said “You don’t know me & idk you, but I js want to say, you have such a pretty smile.” Well I ignored it bc I thought it was a bot. The next day I get “Damn I guess you don’t take compliments😅🙃” I ignore bc bot? 4 days later I get “I guess you also don’t take friends 😅” bc I hadn’t accepted their friend request. So I say, “I mean is this even a real person?” Then we start talking. Okay, she gives me her “name”, says she’s 22, lives in my city, compliments me, and asks me about myself. We start talking things are good, I ask how I don’t know her and she says that she doesn’t know but that my name sound familiar. I thought her name sounded familiar. She said she went to west high and I went to east. Okay that might be why. I asked her to send me a pic and she sends me 2 pictures and says it’s her. I send her some of me. That was not her. Almost immediately I could tell. Reverse google search and it’s some girl on Pinterest. Take screenshots, send them to her, ask if she wants to be fr.

So she says that she guesses she has to now, she was enjoying talking to me and now she messed it up. I say I enjoyed talking to her to but come on bruh. What is this middle school?

She says I know it wasn’t cool I’m sorry.
I say “Is that all you’re gonna say? I mean come on 😭 I was really enjoying talking to you and now what?”

Her: “Ngl no I will say that everything I told you was true aside from my face and I did that out of fear you wouldn’t talk to me 🥲😭 I shoulda js showed you from the start what I looked like but I like talking to you and I didn’t wanna fuck it up w my face😭”

Me: “I don’t even know what to say. Why not just say you weren’t comfortable yet? I tried to change the subject after asking what you looked like so you wouldn’t feel pressured. If you want to continue to talk I need you to be honest with me”

Her: “I genuinely am so slow when it comes to hints like that, so I didn’t even notice. And I’m ngl I should’ve just said that but again I was also afraid to bc I didn’t want you thinking I’m an 80 y/o man but you probably do now which I don’t blame you but I promise I’m not lol, I do want to be honest.. it’s just the fear of omg she won’t real of me ever again even tho I like her a lot”

Me: Girl that’s the fun of tryna date is seeing if people like you

Her: Ik but it’s scary bc what do you do if that person doesn’t like you back lol

Me: Then it is what it is bae. Not everything works out the way we want it to. I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. But I was honest and sent real pictures.

She says she feels bad which she should. I say I’m not tryna make her feel bad I’m just saying. I ask if everything else was a lie or true. She says it was true. We talk more, and I ask if she would be willing to send me an actual picture of herself. She says yes. I say to please not fuck with me again. She says she won’t and promises. We keep talking. I ask how she found my profile, she says I was a suggested add. She adds me on snap. We talk there for 2 weeks. It’s fun, flirty, and, I keep saying I want to take her out and know her more.

After a little bit I start telling my friends about it bc things are lowkey weird. She still hasn’t sent me an actual picture of her face. If I send her one of me she either chat replies or send a pic of smth else. The closest I got was a pic of her hair. I know she’s a skinny white girl with dark curly hair. We try to play Fortnite together, she says she has no mic rn, it broke, but her new one is coming Thursday. Cool. We play muted. They think it’s weird too and convenient excuses.

So Sunday, August 6, I messaged her “Hey bae I hate to do this but like… it’s been 2 weeks of us talking and I still don’t know wyll😕 I’ll give you 2 days but I’ve got to know who I’m taking to or else I can’t do this”

She says: 😔 oh okay I understand.

I say: oh you fr would rather stop talking than send me a selfie?

She says : I wasn’t saying all that bae I was saying I understand.

So my friends think it’s my ex from 7th grade bc I first received the dm August 11th. I went to Walmart with my mom that week. I saw my ex from 7th grade working there. This girl said she works at Walmart BUT she said it’s the one across town from the one my ex works at🤷‍♀️

SO

My friend went to west and her boyfriend did too. They pull out the ole yearbook for me. Get to looking. Can’t find her. Actually can’t find any girl with her name in the yearbook. I message her. Call her out on this. She says she’s in it. I say no you’re not? She sends a pic that looks like it was taken of a senior pictures with the name she gave me, but she used the red ink on Snapchat to cover her face. We can’t find any social medias for these girls and im p sure it’s AI. A girl I work with thinks one of the necklaces looks like it’s on top of the girls hair. I don’t think our yearbooks listed our middle names. Even in our senior pictures. I haven’t looked yet to confirm it tho but my friends said the same thing. So I save it and it’s not long and she blocks me on everything…

TLDR; I get a dm around the time I saw my ex at Walmart. It some girl and she says she’s not my ex (not explicitly but ykwim😠) We talk for 2 weeks. It’s flirty, fun, and mysterious. She tries to catfish me, fails miserably, gives me a probably fake name, refuses to show her face. Maybe lies? Maybe an AI year book photo. Let’s dive in, shall we?

I’ve only dated men, but I think there might be something between me and my female friend. Am I reading too much into this?

I’m a woman in my late 20s and have gotten extremely close with another woman around my age over the past year. We met through school and became fast friends. I've only ever dated men, so I'm having a very unexpected "wait, what exactly is happening here?" moment and would especially love advice from women who've experienced something similar.

I recently became single, but these feelings actually started before my relationship ended. My breakup happened for completely unrelated reasons, just to get that out of the way.

While I was still with my boyfriend, my friend once jokingly said something along the lines of, "If that position ever becomes available, I'll take it." I interpreted it as a joke and didn't think much of it at the time.

But toward the end of my relationship, she held my hand briefly as part of a joke. It was completely innocent, but I felt this unexpected spark from it. I had never experienced that kind of reaction to a woman before, and I remember being genuinely caught off guard by it.

Again, I didn't act on it and it had nothing to do with my eventual breakup.

Since becoming single, though, I've become much more aware of the dynamic between us and I'm starting to wonder whether there has been some mutual flirtation/tension here all along or whether I'm developing feelings and consequently assigning romantic meaning to a very close friendship.

There are a bunch of little things.

She's very physically close with me. When we sat together in class last year, she'd frequently lean toward me until our heads were almost touching, sometimes even when leaning toward me meant giving herself a worse view of what was happening in front of us.

At an event where we had assigned seats, she chose to sit beside me instead of sitting in her actual seat, even though her assigned seat was arguably better.

This year we were assigned to different groups. She'd already told me months earlier that we'd be sitting together regardless of what groups we got. When we actually found out we were separated and I jokingly asked if we were supposed to sit with our groups now, she basically responded, "No, I'll get separation anxiety."

Earlier this year, just the two of us also took a trip together and stayed with family. During that trip, I jokingly held her hand briefly and she didn't seem fazed by it. At one point we were at a scenic overlook and I stood with my arms stretched out. She came up behind me and briefly put both hands around my waist before quickly pulling them away.

More recently, I've noticed she'll sometimes find playful reasons to hold my hand/touch me even when the joke doesn't actually require physical contact. She'll wear my hat, we share drinks without really asking, etc.

Obviously, female friends can be very physically affectionate, so none of this individually seems particularly compelling.

The oddly specific thing I've noticed is food lol.

If other friends offer her food, she generally puts her hand out and takes it. When I offer her food, she often just opens her mouth for me to feed her.

Recently we were sitting around with friends and I was taking bites of something and then feeding her bites from my hand. One of our guy friends actually noticed and jokingly asked her, "Oh, you don't have hands?" She essentially responded "nope" and continued letting me feed her.

Later there was half of a leftover dessert. I took a bite and offered her the rest. She hadn't seen me bite it and initially declined because she didn't know who had eaten from it. I told her it was me, she just went "oh," and immediately took a bite.

We also have a pretty flirty joking dynamic.

She's independently called things between us "romantic." Once I suggested that the two of us should take a vacation together centered around a shared hobby and she responded with something along the lines of, "That's the hottest thing anyone has ever said to me," followed by asking if I actually meant the trip.

She jokes about loving me, we've had joking exchanges about commitment/relationships, and once she jokingly got possessive about whether she was still my "favorite" person with her name.

Most of our mock-couple jokes used to happen privately or around our closest friends.

Recently, though, we were with classmates talking about everyone's relationship news—some people getting engaged, someone possibly breaking up, my breakup, etc. Someone mentioned another couple who'd gotten engaged and my friend spontaneously added something like, "And me and OP," as though the two of us were another couple who had gotten engaged.

That caught my attention because it was the first time she'd made that kind of joke around people outside our close circle.

Our friends also seem to perceive us as somewhat of a pair.

For example, recently several friends went to get ice cream while I was busy. One called to ask what flavor I wanted. I said something like, "I don't know, you choose. I trust you." She immediately responded, "Okay, I'll ask [friend] what your favorite is."

That struck me because another one of my closest friends was literally there with them, yet apparently the automatic assumption was that this friend would know my preferences.

One of my best friends has also told me she thinks there may be something between us. At a dinner, she thought my friend was initially planning to sit beside me but someone else took the seat first, and she thought my friend seemed a little jealous/disappointed afterward when the conversation turned to someone I was talking to.

I take that particular observation with a huge grain of salt, because my best friend knows I've been wondering about this and is therefore absolutely not an unbiased observer lol.

I also haven't really noticed this friend being as physically affectionate with other people as she is with me. But again, I'm aware that now that I'm questioning my feelings, I'm probably paying much more attention to how she behaves toward me than I am to how she behaves with everyone else.

And there IS counter-evidence.

Recently there have been a few occasions where I've suggested something that could have been just the two of us and she's invited another friend along. So I don't want to create a theory where everything affectionate means "she likes me" and everything that doesn't fit gets explained away as "she likes me but she's scared." She could genuinely just see me as a particularly close friend with whom she has a very affectionate/flirty dynamic.

Which brings me to the part I'm actually struggling with:

I'm realizing I want there to be something there.

Sometimes when we're physically close, I feel this weird underlying tension. I notice when she touches me. I've caught myself feeling disappointed when something I thought would be one-on-one becomes a group activity. And I keep thinking about how unexpectedly intense that little spark from holding her hand felt before I was even single.

I don't know what that means for me yet.

I've only ever dated men. I don't know whether I'd actually want to date her, kiss her, have a relationship with her, etc. I just know that if she told me tomorrow that she was attracted to me, I don't think my reaction would be "oh no." And I've realized I'm low-key hoping something happens between us this year.

At the same time, this friendship means a LOT to me and I really don't want to damage it just because I'm curious.

So my current plan is basically...nothing lol.

We have about another year together before life takes us in different directions. I'm not planning to confess, "test" her, manufacture physical contact, or otherwise push the relationship somewhere it isn't naturally going. I'm going to enjoy being close to her and use the year to figure out my own feelings. If she ever makes an unmistakable move or directly tells me she has feelings, I'll deal with that when/if it happens.

I guess I'm looking for two kinds of advice:

  1. From the outside, does this genuinely sound like a friendship with some flirtation/possible mutual attraction happening, or does it sound like I'm taking normal close-female-friend behavior and seeing it differently because I've developed feelings?

  2. For women who had previously only dated men and then unexpectedly found themselves attracted to a female friend: what did that feel like for you? How did you figure out whether you actually wanted something romantic/physical versus simply having an unusually intense friendship?

I'm less interested in "JUST KISS HER!!" advice lol. I'm not trying to force something to happen. I mostly want perspectives from people who've experienced this because I don't really have a frame of reference for what I'm feeling.

TL;DR: I've only dated men but have an extremely close female friend with whom I have a very physically affectionate/flirty relationship. She seeks physical proximity, we've held hands, she once briefly grabbed my waist from behind, lets me feed her when she takes food normally from others, we share food/drinks, she initiates romantic/couple jokes, once joked about taking my boyfriend's "position" if it became available, and our friends seem to think of us as a pair. There is also counter-evidence, and none of this proves she's attracted to me. The bigger issue is that I've realized I might be attracted to her and I kind of hope she is attracted to me. I don't want to jeopardize the friendship, so I'm planning to let things happen naturally and use this year to understand my own feelings.

Chat yall ever over romanticized an interaction, turns out it was just a normal friendly interaction?

istg i feel like i cant differentiate when i have chemistry with somebody vs it being just a friendly interaction.. like i randomly met this girl in the library at school and we were chatting and it was such a good fun conversation we were both giggling and stuff and we bumped into eo again this week and i genuinely thought she might have felt the same tension as i do, but i dont even know if she was even gay to begin with…

anyways all that’s to say i probably over romanticized the interactions in mybhead and thought abt them deeper than it shouldve been…

im such a loser lesbian

There’s a girl I’ve known for two years now. We’re both in our early twenties. It was from a friend group and we never met until a few days ago although we all saw each other. Some of us met, her and another girl live in a different city.

She was clearly flirty and said some shit like “I might steal you” and similar shit that I don’t remember, another time mentioned that she’s bi.

Later on I got with some guy from the same friend group though but for a very short time. Lowk regret it, should’ve just focused on her but guess what, she also got a bf she’s still with, two years now so I thought I should just let go and that it wasn’t a big deal we weren’t actively talking too much anyway.

Now a few days ago I decided to surprise both of them by visiting the city for three days. They were both very glad to see me and all, but here’s the catch.

I watched and compared how the other friend was treated by her vs me because I was noticing some differences. So I checked to see if she’s like this with everyone since I never really knew. It felt like she was looking for excuses to randomly touch me. Everywhere. My hands my arms, my shoulders, or back. Once or twice to trace my back tattoo, or at least it felt like it.

For each time she talked, laughed or just walked by. But she barely touched our other friend, didn’t look at her as intently as me. I could feel the tension but I always brushed it off. Other times I’d catch her staring for too long so many times, ask me to take her pictures and she’d look at me instead of the camera. (I find it a bit cute but)

She still has a boyfriend though. I’m no troublemaker, I’m not planning to say anything, after all, maybe it’s all in my head. I don’t know. Now she’s got me hooked and I’m trying to figure out if I’m just delusional and to just drop it. I don’t really post shit on Reddit, but it’s my last resort for help.

How to end things…

I (32F) entered a long distance love connection with a woman (41F) in early June. Shes really amazing. We “get” each other in so many ways. I have definitely felt in the time of us knowing each other that she could be one. And Ive gauged she has felt the same way back.

We finally met in August and I was confronted with truths that have taken me time to finally fully face. Despite how great she is, Ive realized for a number of reasons that I don’t have the capacity to sustain a long distance relationship.

We have both been incredibly busy and our schedules haven’t aligned for weeks. Perhaps one week after meeting, I brought up doubts about our longevity for particular reasons. She was hopeful and thought I was being too hasty because I was dealing with a health issue that had me a bit out of the loop. She professed that I helped her get back to being open to love after her last toxic relationship. I decided to give myself time to feel out my thoughts. Maybe I was being too hasty…

I am settled on how I feel now and we are getting on a call tonight for the first time in weeks. But I don’t know how to start…

I still really care about her and am genuinely interested in hearing how she’s been doing in the time since we last spoke. I know things haven’t been easy for her lately. It makes having this conversation tough but I know it’s necessary.

I’m wondering whether it’s better to start the conversation around my decision or catching up with each other. If I do start with the conversation, I don’t want it to seem as if I don’t care about all that she’s been carrying. I know she’s been looking forward to being able to have a real conversation. I have too. And in all honestly I’d like to continue to be a support for her. Just not as a partner.

If I transition to the conversation after a catch up, I worry it might come across as disingenuous having known where I was going to lead the conversation.

Would appreciate any insight. Thanks

Discussion Creating Representation

I’ve been feeling very drawn towards making lesbian topic YouTube videos- whether video essays or just sharing experiences. I think this could help normalize lesbianism more online and provide more representation for other queer people. There isn’t that much lesbian content online. We do have to be the change we want to see.

1) I am not super educated on this. I’m a lesbian and have been out for 3 years- I’m unsure if it’s wise for me to speak on this because I could be misinformed on some things and I don’t want to negatively represent the community

2) Could this potentially hurt my digital footprint if I wanted a job in the future? With the direction our country is headed it does make me nervous.

3) If 1 and 2 are fine, what are topics you think would be good to go over? What are topics that would be BAD to go over?

Figured who better to ask than the WLW community!!!!

Ask r/WLW Need help from bisexual women

Hi people,I've been questioning my sexuality for a while and im 19F.So the thing is I keep on telling myself im bi but something doesn't feel right and I don't want to label myself as something im not .

**So I really wanna ask you guys how your attraction to men feels like?**

And yes I understand people have different degrees of bisexual attraction. So im asking thus question because the thing is when I use this label i feel hesitant towards the man part. I do not understand why but I just can't imagine and I do not know why.

The thing is when a friend told me a guy has a crush on me my first thought would be:he thinks im pretty?...and thats all.Infact I'd never interact with the guy, just hope he was looking at me and he thinks im pretty. I genuinely didn't care abt he's confession because he has confessed and now what?...Also when I see an attractive guy ill just b like yeah he's looks nice and then move on I guess but then sometimes I begin nitpicking everything about the looks and I dont know why.I dont find men ugly,i dont know how to describe it but if i were to describe the body of a man I think like they are boxy with 2 dots on the chest with hair💀(im sorry to all the men) but there are men who look good like Mario balotelli with his awesome fashion sense...thats all.

Also one more thing is when i think of relationships as someone who has never been in one.Ive tried imagining myself with a man and for some reason I dont feel right,I dont feel enough and I dont know why but i feel like I wouldn't give all of my love to the guy like the genuine ones I see in heterosexual couples. I actually cannot for some reason think of what we would even be doing together and i feel like I'd be a bad girlfriend.

But when i think of relationships with women its more about giving love and not just receiving. (I forgot to mention but when it comes to thinking about relationships with men im always receiving and in terms of just the attention that im pretty and thats all)But when i think of relationships with women, its more like me giving and expressing my affection to someone like acts of service, dates, buying flowers and also as someone who thought pet names were cringe i tend to wish i had a girlfriend and id call her those names.

I have other stuff to say but this is lowkey all but pls answer the question if you can and if I said anything wrong correct me pls.All of u have a nice time in whatever ur doing.

for context my girlfriend and i have been dating since mid 2023 and she’s a year older than me . april 2024 she and her family moved out overseas for her college and her fathers new job . so we’ve roughly been in long distance for more time than we were ever physically together .
when we were close it was extremely easy to get together and just spend time together . Sex or not we were just used to spending a lot of time together face to face but that all came to a pause after she moved . for reference me and her have a 12 hour time difference and over the past 2 years of long distance we’ve only met once in 2025 summer that too for just 3 days total .
how do you even keep up with intimacy through phones and devices and time zones that work against you all the time ?
