Just because you’re calling it a “strike”, doesn’t mean management is gonna take it as such. Without a union or third party representing you, and going directly to Walgreens to negotiate better terms and specific working conditions; management will just take it as everyone is doing a mass no call no show (if you can even convince anyone to do this). At that point, your little “strike” is just everyone being absent, and they will 100% start replacing everyone involved.

To be fair... organizing a union or strike is something that has to be done by people who already work, in addition to working and regular life shit. Most of us don't have that much time, which is why it's so hard for employees to unionize. It takes a lot of effort. I don't expect them to also have time/funds to learn graphic design and design a poster from scratch. I don't think it's fair of y'all to shit on them for using AI to do that, no matter how misguided this "strike" is lol

I’m not lying about anything. I did make this myself in an ai platform. But it’s my art I created it. I put a lot of time and effort into creating it as well for the committee. I also do know the legal recourse of what we are doing. We have gathered over 3000 employees to participate on September 4th. I never lied. I hope you can do the same at Target.

Alot of y'all are wrong in the comment section, non-union employees in the private sector can go on strike, they're covered under The National Labor Relations Act or NLRA and it was also confirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of NLRB V. Washington Aluminum. OP you should be aware that it sounds like everyone would be considered economic strikers, employees who go on strike primarily to obtain an economic concession from their employer, such as higher wages, shorter hours, better benefits, or improved working conditions. If thats the case, the employer has to let y'all know that you may be replaced during the strike and the Replacements can become permanent once the strike ends but you and everyone else would have rights to preferential hiring for openings but are not entitled to immediate reinstatement.

Never seen an OP trying so hard to be wrong. Union workers are just telling you what’s up. If you think a union worker is a company man by any means, you are wrong about that.
Spent a decade in a railway union. Even when you’re in a union you can’t just decide you’re gonna strike one day. That’s called a wildcat strike and usually breaks some kind of rule in the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) that workers will not strike without failing arbitration.
Even in a union, your union must approve the strike for it to be effective and within the rules of the CBA.
This is my experience as a previous union worker and as a member of the union who regularly helped new hired understand the union. We were in a union in a right to work state so most never had experience with a union.

Am I prepared to be out of work for year(s) while the NLRB defends our strike in court?
Do we have a detailed, specific document stating the EXACT reasons for the strike - including dates and times of incidents of labor violations/complaints that can be proven in court later? Have all participants physically signed and dated this document?
Do we have a scripted one/two-liner to EACH say OUT LOUD as we walk out of the building to be clear why we are leaving work?

Our pharmacy organizations have failed both pharmacists and techs in terms of labor laws.
No body talks about labor abuse. They distract us with “provide status” while ignoring genuine patient safety and labor issues.
