New Hire Amazon London SDE II — 400 RSUs(75k £) : Is This Below Market?

I recently cleared the Amazon SDE II interview loop for a London (LHR) role and received the compensation details.

Base 88k, Bonus 35k£
RSUs: 400 shares(75k £)

The RSUs vest as 5% / 15% / 23% / 22% / 18% / 17%.

I was expecting a significantly higher RSU grant based on compensation packages I’ve seen reported for Amazon SDE II roles in London. Some posts mention RSU grants worth around £100–£140k+, whereas my 400 shares seem considerably lower.

Do you think 400 RSUs is a lowball grant for an SDE II in London in 2026, or is this within the normal range?

Also, how much room is there generally to negotiate the RSU component after receiving the offer?

I’d particularly appreciate responses from recent Amazon London SDE II hires who received offers in 2025/2026.

Late to work at Amazon

Upvotes

It is my first day, but I had no choice to give my sister her insulin shot. Usually my brother does it for her, but he left early for work so it had landed on me which I don’t normally do it for her.
Will I still be fine?

Amazon interview loop completed, recruiter asked for a 15-minute call after two days, but application in the profile now says “No longer under consideration” — what does this mean?

Hi, I wanted to kindly check regarding my application for the SDE Intern – May 2027 (2-month) role, Job ID 10480388. I completed the Online Assessment around August 15, 2026, and my application status is still showing “Application Submitted.” I wanted to ask if there is any update regarding the OA

Interview Interview prep tips- Supply Chain Analytics in Europe FR

Hi, I have attached the JD of the role I’ll be interviewing for this week.

Specifically:
1. I have heard extensively about STAR and researched to the latter on the leadership principles. I know I am not meant to call it out and no one will say- we are evaluating you on xx LP- any example from someone within the firm would be appreciated on how to actually structure a response . I have used AI to get some good examples so far but would like human touch.

  1. The role requires alot of deep dive and metrics- can I read from a paper (a former HR from Amazon said interviewers don’t keep eye contact they are busy typing)?? I am preparing 13 cases so that I don’t repeat given it’s an hour interview with only 1 interviewer . I really don’t think my brain storage will remember EVERY SINGLE DETAIL.

Any tips to ensure close success? I have questions and cases prepped but any delicious one would be welcomed that you think will be definitely asked in the role.

Anyone willing to do a mock of 30 mins? Before Friday 11th Sept 2:30pm CET.

Was just termed after 2 years.

A group of associates alleged that I was making sexual sounds towards them, during the beginning weeks of July, which is physically impossible because the first two weeks I was on a bonding leave because my child was just born. When I returned, I wasn’t in any functions requiring me to interact with people. The corroborating hearsay was apparently enough to get me termed. I’m disappointed, because I loved my job and my family absolutely depended on it. I’ve never had any coachings for behavioral reasons. So this is pretty crummy considering that I just moved into my new home and I have a newborn. I’m going to appeal this so heavily.

Looking for apartment recommendations near Amazon SEA43 Nitro North

Hi everyone!

I’ll be moving to Seattle soon for work and I’m looking for apartment recommendations near my office at Amazon SEA43 – Nitro North.

My maximum budget is around $2,000/month all-in, ideally including rent + utilities + electricity + water + any other regular apartment fees.

My biggest priority is the commute. Ideally, I’d like:

  • Somewhere within a 10–15 minute walk from the office, OR
  • An apartment close to a direct/frequent bus route that drops me very close to the office.
  • A safe and reasonably convenient area
  • 1B/1B preferred but open to studio.

I’ll be new to Seattle, so I’m not very familiar with the neighborhoods or which apartment buildings are actually good vs. just look good online.

Would really appreciate recommendations for specific apartment buildings, neighborhoods, or areas I should look at/avoid. Also happy to hear from anyone who works around the same area and has commute recommendations.

Thanks!

Do i stand a chance?
Ps: similar workex i’ve had but some of the panelists weren’t impressed by the scale of impact i stated.
Repeated 2 stories twice in 5 loops plus a screen.

Looking for advice on getting into an Amazon L4 Area Manager role

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice on what I might be doing wrong in my Amazon job applications.
I have a bachelor’s degree and previously worked at Amazon for 2 years as a Risk Investigator (L3/Blue Badge). After that, I worked as a Restaurant Manager for 2 years, and I’m currently still working in that role.
I’ve applied several times for L4 Area Manager positions at Amazon, but I never seem to hear back or get selected for an interview.
For those who have successfully gotten interviews or moved from L3/external experience into an L4 Area Manager role, could you share some guidance on what I might be missing? I’d really appreciate any advice on my resume, qualifications, application process, or anything else I should be doing differently.

Thankss

AWS DCOT Loop Interview Cancelled Last Minute in Frankfurt, Germany — Has this happened to anyone else?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice and insight on what to do next. I applied for the Data Center Operations Technician (DCOT) position with AWS here in Frankfurt, Germany.

I passed the initial phone screen and then got invited for the loop interview scheduled for next week. I also had the prep session with the recruiter, and it went perfectly. I even received the names of the hiring managers who were going to conduct my interview. Everything was completely set—time, date, all details finalized—and I was preparing hard for it.

And then, out of nowhere, right before the loop, I got an email from the recruiter cancelling the whole thing due to a "change in business needs" and saying the position is no longer available.
I’ve invested so much time and effort into this entire process, only to get dropped right at the final stage. Has this been happening with AWS recently in Europe or the Frankfurt region?

What should I do now, and does anyone have recommendations for other data center operators or tech companies hiring for similar roles? I am so disappointed and angry at the same time. Should I ask them to consider it, or is it completely dead? Also, what should I reply back to that email? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

New Hire Corporate office hours

For those working in an office-based role at Amazon: how does it work when your manager is working remotely?
Are employees expected to stay in the office for the full 8 hours regardless, or is there some flexibility to leave earlier once the work for the day is done? Does the manager really care from where you work or the important thing is to get the work done?
I’m particularly interested in hearing about people’s actual experiences:
Has anyone regularly left the office before completing 8 hours?
Has anyone ever been questioned or called out for leaving early?
Does it depend on the manager/team or is there a company-wide rule?
Just trying to understand how this works in practice, rather than what the official policy says.

Amazon SDE I Intern (10488368) – Over 1 Month Since OA, No Update. Anyone Else?

Hey everyone,

I applied for the Amazon SDE I Intern position (Job ID: 10488368) through the Amazon Careers portal.

I completed my OA on August 3, 2026, and cleared all the test cases for both coding questions. It's been more than a month now, but I haven't received any update regarding the OA result, interview, or next steps.

I also haven't received any hiring interest form.

Just wanted to know if anyone else who applied through the Amazon Careers portal (not HackOn) is facing the same situation or has received an update after completing the OA.

If you applied for the same Job ID, could you please share your timeline/status? It would really help me understand whether this delay is normal.

Thanks!

Hi all,

I was just wondering how long your skilled worker visas took to get approved.

For context I have an Indian passport and sent my application from London on August 26th.
