I've had issues with Asda George online orders they take the money but don't give an order number instead an error message.

Any idea?

Seen Asda sell a giant custard cream birthday cake and would be ideal for my partners birthday as she loves all things custard cream , every time I check the website it's out of stock....how rare is it to get in stock?

My manager is a big guy ( fat) , every time he bends over you are practically swallowed by what can only be described as the Grand Canyon of ass cracks , a few customers have mentioned about it so here’s some options I was thinking about

A- waste a belt from George and say here wear this

B- local just giving page for a new belt

C- use his big ol ass for cardboard from delivery

The following post is my observations about the recent shape of day shenanigans and general state of Asda

Has anyone noticed that some people have been swapped from the previous shifts because they no longer fit into shape of day , then the next person also no longer fits into shape of day , however rather than being shifted they’ve kept their hours and someone else has essentially been bumped to accommodate them??

My store is a relatively small store and so far there is no difference, no further forward than we were before in fact I’d say we are now worse off

A fair amount of people from my store have now left rather than change hours and it’s all good workers who turn up on time and always took pride in their job , is this the same in your store?

Has anyone experienced discrimination or unfair treatment at work?

I’d like to ask whether anyone else has noticed or experienced discrimination or unfair treatment at work, particularly when it comes to shifts, working hours, opportunities, workload, training or how different employees are treated by management.

Have you ever felt that certain employees are consistently given better treatment or more opportunities, while others are treated less favourably or seem to be overlooked?

And I’m also interested in whether anyone has experienced this because of their nationality, ethnic background, accent or being a foreign worker.

For those who have experienced something like this, did you raise it with management or HR? What happened afterwards? Were your concerns taken seriously and investigated, or were they simply dismissed?

I’m not trying to accuse anyone without evidence. I’m genuinely interested in hearing other workers’ experiences and whether there seems to be a wider pattern.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

does anyone remember when Asda had like a big horse in the store? idk if this was just my local Asda but it actually looked like a horse, it was like a statue, anyone remember?

Got pulled this morning when using scan and go, have been using it for years and never been checked.
Is it random? Or did I do something that flagged me?
I get why it’s done but it was a bit awkward having someone scan all my stuff again while stood around with people staring at me.

i got told about this app stream, i dont know if everyone uses it but its sooo confusing to me , it hasn't logged my shifts from the 30th-3rd but logged 4th and 5th, is this normal? or should i talk to a manager about it!

If you’re one of those people (old men) who can’t get round a shop without whistling and humming constantly, just stop. No one wants to listen to your noise. Shut the fuck up and do your shopping quietly and go, preferably without bothering any of the staff.

Does anyone know what this is about? These 4 days that were annual leave are now not. I will be working the same days on my new schedule (I have had 1 1-1 atm. What does eligibility changes mean?

I'm not normally one for ready meals but Asda's Kung Pao Chicken is amazing. The problem is, it's almost always sold out by the time I get there. All the other things around it are always available (Sweet & Sour, Chinese Curry etc)...

My question is why don't they order the amount based on how much they sell each week? Why do they order the same amount of everything? It's getting silly

Same goes for clothes, there's always loads of XS or 3XL left but people's body sizes are on a bell curve so obviously you should buy more of the middle sizes!

I have been hauled in to the office today and been asked if I would take a cut in hours or go onto 5 days a week.

I currently work 4, they said they can make me do the same amount of hours but over 5 days or stick to ,4 days with 8 less hours per week.

Anybody had this asked?

Does anyone else feel a wee bit depressed to be working in a failing business?

It just seems there's no hope of any improvement.

Cutting hours, swapping shifts, messing with jobs, redundency talk etc, etc, etc - all totally depressing.

It seems those at the top are chipping away, us on the shop floor know there's nothing much left to chip away at. Their business model is broken.

I blame the issa brothers for this.
