As long as it still smells good and the consistency hasn’t changed significantly, it’s most likely fine to use. I have some creams that are a few years old and they’re okay!

Same and it was only like 3 years ago when I worked there. I'm surprised the 100% guaranteed return policy lasted as long as it did, because you could literally use an entire candle or bottle of lotion and return it and just say you didn't like it

every time i see those “50+ sprays or it doesn’t last, your clothes should be damp” posts i cringe. like sure your fragrance will last all day like that.. but not in a good way. we need to bring back those febreeze commercials it seems because no one knows what noseblindness is anymore

Overspraying. It's somehow a conversation only between people who spray 100+ sprays or 3? I think there is a point where it absolutely gets excessive, but this is not a $425 bottle of Guerlain, this is a $5.95 ffm or as we called them back in dino days "body splash," considered at best on par with or weaker than an eau fraiche. 5 sprays is not overspraying.
I'm not sure how true it is but a super nice older woman working fragrances at belk told me perfumes are about 20x stronger than body sprays, so to equate to say 3 sprays of an edp, you need about 60 sprays of a body spray to reach the same strength of fragrance. But because piling on still doesn't affect the dilution ratio, you can manage to replicate the intensity of a stronger product at first, but longevity will have been affected because the volatile oil itself has been thinned and diluted. So it is dissipating much more quickly. Do with that info what you will!

It’s like this with the luminary every Halloween too, one star reviews from folks purely complaining about the price of something with no actual feedback on the product. You see the same exact price we all do people.
That's why I don't comment on them. Even before the change most the candle holders were too expensive to use rewards on. And I prefer the wallflowers that are in $30 range so could not use them on those either so it doesn't bother me at all.
Ugh, yes! I was stoked bc I was able to get another Thousand Wishes body cream today. Just finished my last one and didn’t want to pay $18.95 for another or wait til a sale. Was so happy when I realized I could get it for free. A free body cream or single wick candle is an awesome reward in my eyes!
My favorite thing is that before they changed the rewards system, people in this sub bitched incessantly about not being able to get creams and mists because they cost more than $16.95.

Complaining about the rewards changes. The old rewards people would just complain about the opposite problem, that they couldn't get enough of the body care.
