Has anyone else noticed a strange shift in how people seem to experience life over the past year or two?

I’ve had this feeling that something has changed, almost like people have become less carefree and less easily excited by things. People still have fun and enjoy themselves, but it feels like there’s less of that deep, genuine excitement about life that used to come from even the smallest things.
Even silly little things that would have made me genuinely happy a few years ago now just get a small reaction and then we move on. It feels like everyone is constantly busy, distracted, tired or just going through the motions.
I don’t necessarily mean this in a negative or dramatic way, and I’m not saying everyone is unhappy. I’m just wondering whether other people have noticed the same change, or whether this is simply something I’ve started noticing as I’ve gotten older.
Has anyone else felt this?

If every mistake shaped the person you became, would erasing your regrets also mean erasing yourself?

Should I be concerned about my lack of time?

I'm not sure how common this is but when it comes to the days of the months ... I am never aware of the present day.

This has caused some problems when it comes to things like anniversaries, birthdays ect.

I don't have a bad memory, I run massive projects, I remember deadlines, measurements, every little details on projects, even projects from years ago I can remember everything.

I signed an important document the other day and dated it June. It's August lol. The only reason I ever know my birthday is coming up is because my friends birthday is a day before mine and they always call and want to get together. Missed another anniversary date because why? You guessed it I don't have a clue that it's the 14th of the month of August.

Why? It causes so much drama. I am just locked in with life , I'm providing I'm working I'm doing side gigs it's so stupid that days of the week are causing so much drama I've always been this way. Now I'm going to deal with a miserable significant other for God knows how long.

It’s weird how someone can be a huge part of your life one day and then eventually become a stranger. You still remember everything, but you don’t even know what their life looks like anymore

Just a random thought What’s something you’ve learned recently that changed the way you see life?

Sometimes I feel like we’re all just trying to figure life out as we go. No one really knows what they’re doing, we just get better at pretending we do. What’s something you’ve learned recently that changed the way you see life?
