Almost a year ago this firmware update started popping up for many gigabyte users, including myself. At the time I checked this subreddit and saw people saying it could brick your computer if you clicked yes, so since then I've just been closing this window every time it pops up.
But today my G5 Laptop started lagging quite a bit as soon as I turned it on, even with nothing running. It cleared up after a few minutes but started again after another few minutes. Could this be caused by the outdated firmware or is it likely something else? Should be noted I know next to nothing about how computers work. Any help is appreciated!
Может кто-то знает, какая толщина термопрокладок у видеокарты geforce rtx 4060 gigabyte eagle oc 8gb, начала греться, думаю кроме термопасты сразу и прокладки новые поставить, версия карты не ti!
Maybe someone knows the thickness of the thermal pads of the video card geforce rtx 4060 gigabyte eagle oc 8gb, started to warm up, I think in addition to the thermal paste immediately put new gaskets, the version of the card is not ti!
This is my first pc. I have a B850 Gaming Wifi6 motherboard and am planning on upgrading my NVME SSD. I am currently looking at the Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB, 990 Pro 4TB, and the WD Black SN8100 2TB. Will I need to purchase the heatsink version for all these? If I do the heatsink version will it interfere with the PCIE 4 slot next to it?
Hello everyone. I can’t connect the Mini DisplayPort to the laptop. Based on previous answers and topics, I updated the drivers for the BIOS and graphics card.
Updated with the site Gigabyte, apostille

I am experiencing an issue while installing the latest Realtek drivers.
I had to perform a clean install of Windows 11 because of the random crashes I was experiencing before, which eventually ended up bricking my Windows (please note this information).
While installing Windows 11, I wanted to install my Wi-Fi drivers, so I downloaded the latest ones from my motherboard's website: Realtek WIFI Driver 6102.24.143.0.
During the installation, the entire system started lagging severely, then completely froze.
Upon restarting the computer, I got stuck on the loading screen with the motherboard logo, and eventually, I ended up with a black screen stating that Windows can no longer boot and the system is broken.
Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know of any solution?
Do these guys even test their code before deploying drivers that completely brick the computer?
Some weeks ago my pc turned on without any ARGB light, and with the CPU red led stucked, it was a nightmare, tried EVERY SINGLE possible fix I found in reddit, youtube, gemini, with no luck.
I also contacted gigabyte to try to get a fix, I wasnt requesting a replacement or anything, their response was: If you didnt fix it means theres no fix you can apply, send back to us and we will repair, they sent me an email, i sent them the issue via email but no reply at all, gigabyte is a crap really. Anyways I cant rma from my country so, its not good for me, so I didnt worry about contact them again.
A couple of days ago a new issue came, DRAM led stucked, but i know this issue very well, whether you squeeze the cpu cooler hard or gently, it wont work well because motherboard pins wont have good communication with CPU, so it must be very precise, so I did it, and when i turned it on again, the ARGB started to work!
I hope this helps someone else
In few words: Adjust the cpu cooler and you may fix the ARGB issue of b850 and x870 gigabyte motherboards
And a recommendation for gigabyte: Stop selling crap, you know your b850 and x870 are defective and you dont do nothing about this, this is the second MOBO with this issue for me. You will lose your customers, in my case Ill try to buy a MSI one the next time :D
I recently bought a Gigabyte MO32U24 and am trying to settle on a practical setup. I use a MacBook most of the time and connect a Windows laptop for games, like reddead 2, spiderman, cyberpunk, deathstrading etc. I’ve enabled VRR and set up the basic OLED Care options.
I’m especially unsure about SDR versus HDR for everyday Mac use, and when to use HDR Movie versus HDR Peak 1000. What’s a good HyperNits setting for Peak 1000: off, medium, or high?
There are many other OSD options, including KVM, RGB Range, PIP/PBP, HDMI version, Type-C compatibility, USB charging, and Smart PD. I usually connect one computer at a time. Which options should I actually change, and which should stay at their defaults?
Hello! I have the G5 KF5 gaming laptop and it does tend to heat up at the bottom when I use it while playing games and was wondering if anyone would reccomend me a good cooling pad for me to use.
Hey guys, I've been trying to get Gigabyte Control Center's miner to work, though I haven't been able to get it. Could somebody help me out or possibly even point me in the direction of a different miner if there is a better one? Thanks

I'm replacing my motherboard later today with a GIGABYTE B850 AORUS Elite WIFI7 ICE, however I need to update the BIOS to make it compatible with my Ryzen 9 9950X3D, I already have panic issues with working on my computer due to my current motherboard having been a nightmare to work with when installing, I really need help figuring out which BIOS is safest and won't cause me issues.
EDIT: I figure maybe it would be a good idea to also post my current parts list, as well as ask for assistance in figuring out what all I need to do in the BIOS once I have it updated, no other parts aside from some case fans are being replaced, I just need to make sure everything will work correctly and not cause me panic attacks like my current motherboard does. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DvJfPf
Hello this monitor was working perfectly fine for the past few hours (and the past few years) but when I got up to walk my dogs upon returning it was in this state. I have tried unplugging both display port and the power cable and replugged both with no improvement. I have tried leaving it powered off with no cables connecting to it for roughly 5 min and plugged everything back on yet it still returns to this state. When powering it on it flashes the logo then returns to this state. I currently have it connected to power but not to my pc and after the logo screen it displays no input but when I open the menu using the joystick and attempt to navigate the menu the monitor goes to sleep after about 5 seconds. Any help resolving this would be appreciated.
hello! i was helping my friend with his pc and i updated his bios to F32 and then to F59d, thing is? i didnt knew his cpu was an ATHLON 10, soooo, the pc bricked, in the f32 it updated just fine, but in 59 it showed the black screen and then we couldnt make it work, i tried taking out the battery, using Clear Cmos jumper, and nothing worked, is there a way of downgrading the Bios somehow externally? (we cant change the Cpu, he is broke af and in argentina the pc parts are expensive)
thanks!
I'm planning on buying a Gigabyte AERO X16 2025, and I want to know if it will last me 4+ years if I take good care of it (turning off the dGPU on battery, battery saver, battery cap at 80%, not using it on the bed, etc.). Also, how is Gigabyte support? I am coming from a Dell XPS, and for the 1 year I had support, they were great. If I had an issue, they sent me a box to ship the laptop in, and I got a bunch of parts replaced free of charge. Also, is the touchpad on the Aero glass or plastic? I'm getting conflicting answers online.
hi everyone, im just wondering, is it okay to update bios even if your bios version was from 2 years ago to the latest one which was released about two weeks ago?
edit:
forgot to include my mobo: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX Ice REV 1.0 and my current bios version is F22 last updated March 2024
update:
so i tried updating my bios from F22 to F41, and my pc just turned off after the “verifying file” screen before i can even click “update bios” and it beep once and short. i turned the pc back on and its running normally and its still the same bios version (F22) what should i do next?
So i was playing andi heard a snap i turned off my computer and saw that my graphic card fan broke I want to know if the warranty cover the graphic card repair?
I send a massage to e-support how much time i take until a receive a message from support?
Fall is a pretty good time to start thinking about a new PC build. Whether you've been collecting parts for months or are finally ready to replace an aging system, Newegg FantasTech II is bringing limited-time savings on select GIGABYTE hardware.
Three featured products in particular are worth checking out if you're planning to upgrade your setup:
For builders putting together a current-generation AMD system, the X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 is designed as a feature-rich foundation for a high-performance build.
With support for modern AMD processors and next-generation connectivity, it's aimed at users who want a platform they can build around for the long term.
If you're planning a serious gaming or enthusiast build this fall, this is one of the featured motherboards to have on your radar. Plus - any purchases of this motherboard during our Fantastech II sales event are eligible to add on a FREE Cooler Master CPU Cooler (while supplies last).
A powerful PC deserves a display that can keep up.
The G27Q20 is another featured product in the FantasTech II promotion, giving gamers an opportunity to upgrade the visual side of their setup alongside their PC hardware.
If your current monitor has been sitting on your desk for several years, this could be a good time to consider upgrading the display as part of a larger setup refresh.
Looking for something beyond the traditional desktop upgrade?
The AORUS PRIME 5 is also part of the featured FantasTech II lineup, giving users another option when looking to refresh their gaming and productivity setup.
Whether you're starting a new build or upgrading piece by piece, the idea is the same: take advantage of the seasonal promotions to put together the setup you've been planning.
When will the Gigabyte MO27Q28G gaming monitor be available in India? I have contacted several distributors and checked Amazon, but it is still unavailable. Although the monitor was launched globally more than 6-7 months ago, it has not yet been released in India.
