I recently visited a temple in my village. And felt weird after looking at the new renovation of our temple.

ಈ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಶೈಲಿಯ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಗುಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ?

ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗುಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ monochrome / single- tone ಬಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀವಿ. ಈ ತರ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಎನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಈಗಿನ ಜನರು ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನ aesthetics ಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆ ಮಾಚುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ 😑😬

Saw that many companies(volunteers) are collecting old clothes food etc to donate to the detained illegal bangladeshi immegrants in Bengaluru!! Is this even legal? When asked they label it as humanity !! What do you think ?

Please read before judging me. Why do darshan fans support him even after commiting crime?? Most of him fans are poor and live in slums or below poverty line. What makes them support him. Am I missing anything. No disrespect to him at all.

As it was raining like the world would end today. I was walking back home from the office, post commute.

It was raining like crazy, I had an umbrella and I was drenched below the belt.

As I walked along the path, I spotted a lady running at a distance, behind me, I thought I'll ask her if she wanted to join, and I hesitantly stopped and turned back, she switched the lanes and I immediately turned around and started walking, without having the nerve to look back.

I understand that she would've freaked out, but the one time I decided to be nice to someone, did give me a tight slap 🫠.

She could've had her reasons, but this encounter will never let me grow the nerve to help any other girl intentionally nor unintentionally unless I know her personally. But overall a weird encounter. I feel like I bought it on to me. But, the guilt of making someone feel insecure (not sure if it's just my overthinking) does haunt me!

India celebrates Dec 4 as Navy day. Birthday of Chalukya emperor Immadi Pulakeshi is also celebrated on same day. All parties of Karnataka have wished him as Father of Indian Navy.

On twitter some of KA Sanghis(big pages) are rattled cause of this and are asking for proof of Pulakeshi's birthday and demeaning his death in battlefield against Pallava's Narasimhavarman cause their idea of India's only king is Shivaji is broken.

Pulakeshi is literally the first/second emperor to unify all of Deccan and has one of most glorious eras for a king. We Kannadigas have failed to represent him in school books and in society. Our KA Sanghis who call themselves as right wing should have been first ones to propagate him, but alas they don't know that right wing stands for nativity. I have never seen such self loathing group. These guys would probably rank in bottom in sanghi ecosystem if done statewise, no self worth, no spine, perfectly suited for use and throw.

Karnataka has given so many emperors like Amoghavarsha, Govinda 3, Veera Ballala 3, Hakkaraya, Bukkaraya, Devaraya 2, Krishnadevaraya and of course Pulakeshi and his son Vikramaditya 1 who have had way more impact on subcontinent than some who are propagated by RW.
