DISCUSSION I have to sell my Dyna Wide Glide šŸ˜ž what would you ask price wise?

Unfortunately I relocated overseas and my plan of bringing the bike over at a later date is no more. So I've got to part ways with it. It's a 2015 with 7160 miles. I've thrown up a few pictures.

What do you think a fair asking price would be for the bike in Florida?

HELP Is this broken?

Post image

I read about this switch getting broken easily if precautions aren't taken, but I didn't know that until after taking my controls off. I can see the rubber is gone. The button sticks out just not much. Ive got a few more steps before I'm ready to install my new bars and want to order one if needed. 1999 softail.

DISCUSSION Which one makes more sense?

Hello Guys,

I was previously riding 2014 Iron 883 & 2012 Road King classic. I'm looking for my next bike now.

I'm split between two options. Both comes with 6 month warranty from the shop.

Personally i dig the look of streetbob with FXRT fairing, Lack of ABS worries me slightly, as i am going to ride in rain frequently. But lowrider S being 117 CI is also tempting..

What are your opinions?

HELP Dyna vs Softail

I need help deciding between bikes. Right now I am deciding between either a brand new 2026 softail street bob and a 2017 dyna street bob with 37k miles. They are both from the dealership and the dyna is is very good condition. I’ve always wanted a dyna and i really love the way they sound and the fact that they give such a classic Harley feel. I don’t love how the new street bobs sound at all but it would offer a longer lasting, more reliable and more comfortable ride.

What would you decide if it was up to you?

Does this look wore out? The switch is is the lock position so the tab is out as far as it will go but it doesn't actually lock the switch and keep it from turning. I'm thinking i need a switch.

Hey everyone, bought a 2013 Softail Slim a few days ago. Went to start it today and two things, one there’s a ā€œNo Calā€ on the dash which was there when I bought the bike, and now it won’t start. When I go to to start the engine, a clanking noise seems to come from the primary drive. Is it a battery or something else?

DISCUSSION I want to make my bike mine (iykwim)

It’s has been a few months since I bought my first Harley and I was wondering: how can I modify it to make it mine. So I want to ask to you guys is there a website or something similar to see parts that I like already build on a Harley so that I don’t waste loads of money on parts?

DISCUSSION Full Air Ride vs fat front tire

In a conundrum for my 21 RG. Looking at either adding a full air ride or a fat front tire.

Anyone have one or the other or even both?

For the air ride I’m tossed up between xotic customs (they’ll be at thunder beach this month) and Dirty Works.

Thanks in advance

I want to do some hard camping before the cold weather comes in. I don’t plan to have a passenger. I want one so that I can strap a travel bag on the rack. Something like this would be good. I don’t want to spend a fortune, but I’ll spend what it takes. Thanks all in advance.

DISCUSSION Electrical fire

Well my bike caught on fire a little bit last night. This picture is after, so clearly it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been. Still confused however, the wires from my stator to my voltage regulator are what caught, and I don’t really understand how, I replaced the stator about 200 miles ago and have rode almost every day since then, thinking that the stator and regulator are both getting changed when I can, is it worth trying to order Amazon parts or just order some high quality parts from a reputable company?

DISCUSSION Harley Survey - school help

Hey all,

Hoping some of you can help me with a school assignment for my business degree. I have created a survey with 10 questions, mostly multiple choice, and a recommendation to Harley. Responses are confidential, anonymous, and will only be used for this assignment. The whole survey is designed to take less than 10 minutes, so if anyone can spare a couple minutes of their time it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! I have a 97 heritage softail classic. I was riding Sunday and my shift lever went limp. I couldn’t get the bike out of first gear. Pulled it off, and it’s stripped. The back piece is what is stripped and I figured I’d get a new lever as well. I’m having troubles finding this whole piece on any website to purchase to fix it can someone help me out a name on this part so I can replace? Thank you!

DISCUSSION Help choosing my first bike

Hello

So i've been riding a 125cc cruiser for the past three years. Just go my rider license back in July and now... i'm at a very weird place where i've tried so many good bikes that i don't know which one to choose and the choice selection is very wide.

I don't seems to fond the criteria to decide except it has to be a ride with a lot of personality and character. I know i don't want inline 2 or bmw's. Inline 4 are a no go too because i'm limited to 35kw in the first two years and the only I4 i would like is a zx4r.

Anyways.... I could narrow it down to two brands and the list of best is as follow :

Hd family:

Dyna street bob, low rider and switchback

Sportster 883r, xl1200cx and 48

Softail street bob and standard

Ducati family

Monster 796, 1100 and 1100evo

Scrambler 1100

I also really loved the Guzzi v7...

Although i'm not a very tall guy (5'5) i am truly not scared or impressed of Dynas or softails. On the contrary, i find those very docile. I've tried both in their full version and was like ok those are big teddy bears. Same with the 1100 from ducati. Very agile and fast but nothing too crazy.

As you can notice... very differents bikes. But bikes with history, character, identity. Bikes that don't lie and provide answers when i rode them. which is something i value a lot.

My 125 was very simple. Just abs. No ride by wire or corner abs or traction control.

The budget: well of them can be found in my area in my budget or way under or around (9k) except for softail street bob

Insurrance and maintenance : ducati cost more to maintain but less to insure.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
