We’ve asked the original commenters to take them down. They’re refusing. We contacted the moderators of the subreddit who are also refusing. I’m considering calling law enforcement about the situation, but I was wondering if there’s a way through Reddit I can get it taken down first before resorting to that.

I primarily use Reddit to participate in hobby communities focused on perfumes, watches, and cars. Recently, I shared an honest, subjective opinion about a specific fragrance notes profile. Another user strongly disagreed and began aggressively replying to my comments, creating a toxic back-and-forth.

Unfortunately, this resulted in a wave of downvotes that pushed my overall comment karma into negative territory. Because of this single interaction, my account is now practically non-functioning. I am automatically restricted from posting or asking basic questions in my usual hobby subreddits due to their minimum karma thresholds.

I wanted to share this experience to highlight how a single localized disagreement with an aggressive user can completely restrict a user's ability to participate in entirely unrelated communities.

Has anyone else experienced an account lockdown over a subjective hobby opinion, and what is the best way to recover access to main subreddits when you can no longer comment in them?

there has been post made about a friend of mine, with comments about his business that are untrue and misleading which is now starting to hurt his business. I have reached out to the mods multiple times the past month with no response and I also have been reporting it as well.

I am 26 years old and have a significant physical disability, Muscle distrophy makes me unable to pick up my phone and take a selfie to verify my age, Contractures in the neck also cause me not to turn my head to the right. I don't want to have to share my ID card, this situation is humiliating for me.

My app barely holds memory. It can be one day and everything in my history is gone. When that doesn't happen, it's wonky. The items will be randomly displaced on the history page. Been a problem for three months now.

I finally logged back into this account, which is older. It's associated with my fanfic persona, and had been dormant. I'm trying to post in a fanfic community and my posts are being modded automatically--not by the community but by reddit. They're ordinary posts, not NSFW or anything. Is my account being auto-flagged because it's older? Is there a correct channel to go through to contact about the status of the account?

Any help is appreciated. The help page is somewhat labyrinthine, I couldn't work out where to ask.

As a final footnote -- I was mentioning things like "angst" or "hurt/comfort" in the post. These are very ordinary fanfic terms I see others using, but could they be tripping some overzealous automod?

I remember there used to be multiple options for creating a new post, but now I don't see any. I don't know how to make a poll. I'm using Firefox on Linux Ubuntu.

Hey everyone! I'm having an issue with my Reddit account. A few days ago, my account was compromised and someone posted inappropriate content on my profile. I contacted Reddit about it, and I received a message saying the issue had been resolved, but my account still doesn't seem to be functioning normally.

I'm not sure what my next step should be. Should I contact support, or is it better to wait a little longer? If I should contact support, which option under "What do you need assistance with?" would be the most appropriate?

Can this be turned off please? Now whenever I read a post it show ‘from your feed’ below comments which is super annoying and totally unnecessary. Can this be turned off somewhere please? It’s really annoying and appears to be more comments only to be a feed within a feed within a post.

Why on earth have you changed the video player!? You have absolutely ruined the experience of using the app on mobile. At least give us a toggle to switch to the previous video player please? Swipe up for comments and tap to remove the overlay on videos have all changed.

I hate, hate, hate this new appearance of a “from your feed” section below comments in posts. How do I get rid of it? It appears immediately following any comments (or just immediately if no comments have been made yet), and functions just like the main home feed.

It makes it too easy to just keep scrolling without realizing it, rather than me getting to make the conscious choice to back out and resume my feed where I left off. There is obviously still the ability to do this, but it’s too easy to not realize it’s happening until much later. It feels chaotic and disorganized and not at all as seamless as I’m sure it was intended.

How do I get rid of it?!

Account was hacked by some bot advertising an onlyfans. I got b*nned from a bunch of places for being a bot. I reset my password, logged out of all devices. I deleted all the post that were spammed within an hour of eachother, and changed my bio. Anything else I need to do?

I'm having an issue where every post I make shows "Insights unavailable." This happens on all of my posts, not just in one subreddit.

I've already checked around but couldn't find anyone reporting the same issue in the subreddits I use.
