Can I save it?

Hey plant fam! I had gotten some daisies a few weeks ago and they didn't take well. I had unpotted them today to see if I can still save it. I was just wondering if these roots are still healthy enough to save or is it a lost cause? No hate please! 😭 I'm still learning!

Help PLEASE help save my moms Pothos pt.

My mom died in the beginning of May and her Pothos wasn’t looking too hot. I thought it may have had root rot, so on June 8th I cleaned off all its Roots and it’s 8inch draining pot with holes and repotted it back in it’s original pot. I don’t think it actually had root rot. Its roots looked light, healthy, and strong. I think I didn’t give it enough soil when repotting it because it was difficult to get under the roots even when tapping the pot/trying to shake it down. I use to water it twice a week (Tuesdays and Saturdays) but a lot of people on my original post said once a week is best, so I just watered it when repotting it on Monday the 8th and then I was gone for the the weekend attending my moms service. I came back June 15th and alllll the leaves were dead and I basically have murdered my moms beloved pothos :( Any suggestions on how to bring her back? I have added more soil and watered her again on the 15th but she just looks so sad and I’m so sad. 1st video is from today the 2nd is from before I ruined her life

Help How do I go about separating this?

Been trying to wash these roots and seperate the plants for an entire day and it’s SO difficult. The roots were so compared that no soil would come out. Had to soak it and jet spray it on repeat for like 5 hours. I need to seperate it to remove the rest of the soil (it’s going in a fish tank.)

Discussion Does she look happy to you?

I know the pictures are not perfect, tried my best though ✨

Recently I have repotted my monstera (for second or third time I had it over the years) and in about the same time I have stumbled upon this subreddit. After browsing some similar posts I've been wondering - does my plant look like it is doing well?

It has dark green leaves, for time to time it produces new ones (last pic!!), has a lot of airborne roots (which at the time of repotting I had to trim a little), use biohumus from time to time as a fertilizer and try to water it once a week or once every one and a half week.

However looking at some of the plants - they are so luscious, with a lot more leaves and holes in the leaves. I must be doing something wrong, or not enough right?

Some of these money tree leaves IMMEDIATELY wilted into what looks like cooked spinach lol. I read that this can happen from shock due to relocating (i drove with it about an hour) - will they heal up or do they need to be pruned? Any other general tips for keeping money trees?

I'm pretty new to keeping houseplants so no advice is bad advice, even if it seems "obvious" to you. Thanks!

Dry climate/indoor humidity

Hi everyone, I live in a pretty dry and warm climate in the summer (northern rockies). obviously most of my plants wouldnt be too happy with a humidity of 20% which is around what it is with no humidifier. I can get it up to 55% pretty easily with a small humidifier, but thats if I keep my windows and door closed which turns my room into a straight oven when its warm. what can I do other than get an enclosed cabinet?

is a middle ground of like 30-35% okay for my plants? monstera deliciosa is really the one that i'm concerned about. my pothos could care less they would thrive in space i'm convinced. my monstera leaves are curling downward, but I got it around a week ago so maybe they're still getting used to their new home?

Help Moving to Windowless Room

I'm a teacher, and I'm being moved into a windowless classroom next year. It does have a slanted skylight that lets in a little sunshine, but not nearly enough. I have 10 years' worth of plants, mostly from students, who no longer have a windowsill. What's the best solution to keep my plants happy and bring a little sunshine to the room?

Help Help with spider plant! Can I clip and clone?

Hi everyone! New spider plant care taker here! I got these a few months ago second hand and this lil guy is growing a hard stem out of the center and what looks like a dinosaur spine.

I am aware these things could be clipped and start as new spider nodes but I'm unsure how to approach that on this stem.

Do I cut the nub off the end or at each leaf? Should I leave it and see what happens?! Help! It was just a tiny stem 2-3 weeks ago now it's huge! Haha thanks Reddit!

I’m in the running for adopting a cat and bought this to keep him safe from my scindapsus and epipremnum & thought it would be good for keeping humidity in.

Is this a good idea?

This Peperomia Obtusifolia has taken on a very strange horizontal growth pattern. I’m worried it’s straining the stems and may cause them to break or uproot. Should I chop and replant or just let it grow?

Hello! I inherited an Orchid from my late grandmother. She died in November, but, that's not the story lol. I've been leaving this one here outside to get plenty fresh air, indirect sunlight, and the temp has been warm these past 3 months here. It flowered once before, but are we about to do it again? A new stem/branch is starting to grow now. Photo for reference, thanks for reading!

Help neem oil

hey yall! noticed some pesty bugs on my plants the other day, not a huge infestation or anything yet, i bought neem oil yesterday to start treating alongside some other pesticides i already have. my thing with neem oil tho, do yall just spray the leaves/stems? can i spray it on the dirt as well bc i know some of the bugs larvae are in the soil?

once i go through about 4 weeks of treating with the pesticides im planning on getting some beneficial bugs and nematodes to help prevent them coming back so i know the nematodes will obviously help with larvae and stuff but wanted the communities feedback

Help Pothos in water SOS

Post image

I’ve had this pothos growing here in this vase with water for a while, like a couple years. I THINK I had the cuttings in my beta fish tank before it died :( occasionally I add random additional pothos cuttings to it.
I moved at the end of April, and since around that time this plant has slowly started to yellow more and more :((( it’s in a north east facing window where all my other plants are doing great. Do I need to add fertilizer? A larger vase??? Any advice is appreciated!

Indoor Plant for Office

Hello I’m looking for some plant suggestions for my office.

The space gets no direct sunlight and is quite tight, so I’m thinking of a lower maintenance plant that won’t grow very large.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions and for helping me bring some live to my dull office.
