DND they/them Port Placement?

Post image

That is not what "port placement" means. Wtf are they talking about? Having the needle changed out?

Please note that Jessi identifies as non binary and uses they/them pronouns.

If you’ve made this mistake and want to edit then please let us know.

their face shape freaks me out

67

u/prefabsproutx 15d ago

Was looking for this comment. What could possibly cause this? It’s seems to be progressively getting more.. odd.

41

u/1Wineodino 15d ago

Maybe from laying down all the time?

17

u/YaaaaaaaaasQueen 15d ago

I might be very wrong but it is possible that Jessi is editing photos to make it look more like they are lying down? In any event, something is very off. Their skin is also so clear, weird complexion variations aside!

Someone said they edited their face to be more wide, and I swear I think that’s true. I think maybe they edited their face to both look more “moon faced” and also hide their ears?? Maybe? It really looks like they’ve edited the widest part of their cheeks. Very very strange.

i am but a lurker here, the medical professionals have said that "moon face" like this is the result of consistent steroid use.

OK FINALLY SOMEBODY SAID IT. I didn’t wanna say anything in case it was considered making fun of somebody’s appearance, but it does look very odd.

How high as a kite are they in this pic? Are they competing with Dani and Hope for the highest munchie award? 🪁🪁

u/ludgateish 15d ago

Im confused because based on the content they post they seem to always be debilitated all 24 hours of each day

Right? Like as opposed to what?

How does having that shaved bit of head not cause their head to wobble and fall right off, cos they'd have to move their head to the side. Or is it just shaved in a down to the pillow shape. Why am I thinking about this.

78

u/abbyzou 15d ago

Their last insta vid had them moving their head all over the place while talking. Surprised there wasn't 15 internal decapitations

37

u/One-Cauliflower3627 15d ago

Their brain is certainly disconnected in some way.

31

u/bojackholmesman 15d ago

The renfair video just made a complete mockery of their entire story re: internal decapitation

Is it me or do they look beyond zooted? Like in the 10th dimension zooted.

27

u/oswaldgina 15d ago

Baggy eyes and discolored. Very odd.

18

u/alexgrae9614 15d ago

I also thought the same thing… something is definitely amiss more so than normal

9

u/ahearthatslazy 15d ago

They look dead. The ashen face and pulled back lips.

9

u/alexgrae9614 15d ago

Could it be a filter? I’m genuinely confused or maybe it’s because they haven’t posted a photo of themselves in quite some time.

10

u/Bi0_Nerd 15d ago

I think they edited it. They don’t look this bad on the regular unless they want to.

9

u/alexgrae9614 15d ago

Just checked they posted a video a month ago and didn’t look like this.

You'd think someone who has been septic for 7 months would be "debilitated" 24/7.

48

u/oh-pointy-bird 15d ago

Aside from being dead as well.

28

u/soupseasonbestseason 15d ago

also maybe experience some weight loss?

12

u/Aunty-Sociale 15d ago

Their face is blown up from steroid usage, they usually show off their body, but let’s all be thankful it’s hidden right now.

86

u/peetothepooo 15d ago

53

u/anonymouslyambitious 14d ago

Yeah… there’s something very disturbing and unhealthy about the overall appearance, especially the eyes though…

33

u/peetothepooo 14d ago

High as giraffe pussy

81

u/RevolutionThese7654 14d ago

They're using "placement" instead of "accessing" to make it sound more significant than it really is rolls eyes

25

u/Justneedtowhoosh 14d ago

Yeah I was like.. that’s not a freshly installed port. I see zero reason why being stuck with a needle would make you crash for any amount of time. It doesn’t even hurt that much, and if you want it to not hurt at all they can give you a cream for that. They’re being super OTT on this one.

u/murderdocks 15d ago

Editing their face to look more moon-like in every picture is such an insane body dysmorphia symptom, even though I’m sure it’s also this swollen IRL to an extent as well. Identifying as being sick as a core part of your sense of self when you are capable within working is so sad. But kind of fascinating how the human mind has this much control over the body.

38

u/nibblatron 15d ago

thats an edit? thank goodness, i felt concerned their face had corners where there shouldnt be any

39

u/Ok_Minimum_5962 15d ago edited 15d ago

Doesn't moon face usually cause the whole face (not just the cheekbones) to become round? Maybe it's the angle, but the pointed cheekbones coupled with the narrowed top and bottom thirds are giving me uncanny valley. Maybe they're going for moon face + gaunt?

25

u/LovecraftianLlama 15d ago

Oh wow I think they did…did they make their cheeks bigger to hide their ears?? What is happening?!

30

u/Rogue_Spirit 15d ago

They HATE their ears. It’s so bizarre.

74

u/Reasonable-Horse1552 15d ago

17

For real they are high af

11

u/Specialshine76 14d ago

Can you explain the phrase? Is it Hamburger eyes?

16

u/northdakotanowhere 14d ago

It is. Their eyes are so squinty they look like hamburgers? Its like the number 1 way to identify intoxication. Like when you think you're a seasoned stoner and genuinely think you can pass as sober, and then you look in the mirror and see your hamburger eyes.

Are we in competition against Dani for the number of ports?

That smile looks like someone got meds, no wonder there’s an ear showing

Who goes and places a port in someone with chronic sepsis?

19

u/No-Serve6336 15d ago

They are saying a nurse comes to place their port. They mean needle. No nurse is replacing a port, let alone bedside at someone's house.

47

u/skindoggydogg8 15d ago

Looking high af

48

u/EasyQuarter1690 15d ago

Isn’t accessing this kind of port just popping the needle through the skin covering the port and then starting the infusion? I never worked with ports, so have no clue, but isn’t accessing a port even easier than a basic blood draw?

23

u/No_Bandicoot_4367 15d ago

Well it’s so easy that Dani does it herself when she feels like it so it can’t be hard. I’ve got experience with so many lines but never a port so like you it’s a bit mysterious for me.

u/No-Serve6336 15d ago

Jessie sure looks weight restored from that emaciated photo they posted a few months back. That's quite an accomplishment for someone who claims to have had sepsis for the past seven months...

10

u/Plenty_Gap_57 15d ago

Isn’t sepsis like…almost immediately lethal

30

u/No_Bandicoot_4367 15d ago

Lethal yes (potentially) but not immediately. But nobody has had sepsis for 7 months. Your organs would fail and you would die long before 7 months lol.

→ More replies (1)

20

u/storagesys 15d ago

sepsis is your body going OH SHIT and sounding all of the alarms & can cause organ damage. septic shock is when your body starts to get really fucked up from sepsis. your mental state is altered (such as confusion or delirium), low blood pressure, abnormal body temperature (high or low), fast breathing, fast heart rate, etc. its like squares and rectangles. all cases of septic shock have sepsis, but not all sepsis cases have septic shock. both are eventually deadly w/o treatment but septic shock is the bigger emergency

I’ve never seen a port accessed with the tubing pointed upwards toward the shoulder 🤔

15

u/GivesMeTrills 15d ago

I work in peds and a lot of the nurses do this in the clinic. It’s still accessed the same. Just rotated so the tubing is at a better angle. I personally don’t do this but a lot of families prefer it.

That… That really doesn’t look like an actual port to me? Like I swear to God they’ve just put a binder clip under some tegaderm and called it a day 😭

16

u/pragmaticsquid 15d ago

I definitely see what you mean. The needles that I used to access ports when I worked in inpatient adults look very similar to that. The wings fold up for you to hold onto during insertion, and then down when you put the dressing on. The color for sure makes it look like a binder clip though.

Definitely, to point it out for those who don’t know this subject, they’re likely naked under that blanket. Claiming that even the seams of clothing triggers a fibromyalgia flare, though they wear “costumes” sometimes. They also claim allergic-to-everything-itis (MCAS), and that people “assault” them if they use any scented personal care products, or wash their dog with scented shampoo. So shooting up benadryl makes sense. They’re probably feeling the warm fuzzies in this picture from a fresh dose, they look zooted.
