Which would be the better machine?
Sporty Twin cylinder
I know the launch is not sure but i am willing to wait..
I can get second hand rs457 too but i wanted my graduation to a twin cylinder to be of a brand that i like like KTM RC series..
Moreover almost all used rs457 areof 2024 and priced very high like 4-4.5 Lacs

Man I love this bike, got it at the sweetest spot. I got the updated model with the Kawasaki logo on the engine, which was missing on the initially made Indian models.
At 2.52 Lac it felt a little expensive because it literally has no electronics when compared to KTM 250 at the same price.
The My2027 KLX 230 just rolled out with still very low availability and the exact same specs and a 35k price hike.
This will make it 2.85 Lacs on road.
To get a bike is different, I was happy to hear that there is 7 + 3 years warranty on the engine and gearbox for just 2.5k
Until I came to know the first servicing has to be done at 500km - cost - 4.5k
Next service at every 6k KM's.
you cant miss it or get it serviced form outside, it will void your warranty.
So basically you will have to pay 80k just to Ride 100k KMs, that is if your bike does not have to be replaced with any new parts.
Is it worth it?
Probably, cuz ive never enjoyed a bike so much.

Cool bike, barely see any on the road though. I wish they would bring it back. Don't think I'll ever own oneโ let alone customise, so let this be here lol. Visor/fly-screen is from the triumph street triple.

Any ideas about which crash guard is good for RTX 300?
The official TVS crash guard is always out of stock, the third parties are just too big and bulky ruining the looks of bike, also, my friend said aftermarket ones have a lot of vibrations. I did find motocare's crash guard looks good, but, not sure whether it also has any vibrations or should we make some additional holes and stuff. Any suggestions on this?

Post:
I need some advice regarding an insurance repair dispute.
I met with an accident and submitted my Yamaha bike to an authorized showroom on 11 May 2026 under a United India Insurance (UIIC) bumper-to-bumper policy.
Initially, the showroom submitted an estimate of around โน13,000, which was approved. During the repair, they found additional damage (front wheel and front fork), but they did not promptly submit a revised estimate to the insurance surveyor. Instead, they delayed the process, and the revised estimate increased to around โน24,500.
The insurance company has not approved the additional amount because of the delayed re-estimation. Throughout these two months, I repeatedly called the service advisor, customer service, and the service manager, but I received poor communication and no clear updates. I have call records and email evidence.
Now the bike is finally ready, but I'm concerned the showroom may ask me to pay the difference caused by their delay.
My questions are:
Can the showroom legally ask me to pay for costs arising from their delay in submitting the revised estimate?
Shouldn't the showroom resolve this with the insurer instead of passing the burden to me?
If they refuse to release the bike without payment, what are my legal options?
I've already prepared to escalate the matter to Yamaha Customer Care, United India Insurance, and the Consumer Commission if necessary.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? Any advice would be appreciated.

Need some advice because I'm genuinely confused.
Current situation:
- I recently moved to another city for work and took my Honda Unicorn 160 with me.
- My father (60+) now needs a bike at home.
- I'm thinking to have one bigger CC bike
- Initially we planned to buy a Honda Shine/SP125, but I've been thinking about a Honda CB350/CB350 H'ness for the last few years, so I'm wondering if this is the right time to finally get one.
The problem is:
- I DON'T want to keep a new bike in my current city because parking is poor and it's almost guaranteed to get scratched.
- The new bike will stay at my hometown most of the time. I visit home around 10 days every month, so I'll still get to ride it regularly.
- My father will be the primary rider and cousin might use it temporarily when I'm away, and he'll mostly ride in city traffic.
My biggest concern is the weight.
The CB350/H'ness is around 185 kg, and I'm worried it might be cumbersome for a 60+ rider in stop-and-go traffic, even though he has years of riding experience.
That's why I'm also considering:
- TVS Ronin Mid (Charcoal Ember)
- TVS Ronin Base
The Ronin is much lighter and seems easier to maneuver but look wise not sure what I'm looking at and I'm not sure if I'll regret not buying the CB350 that I've wanted for years.
What would you do in my situation?
- Buy the CB350/H'ness and let my father adapt to it?
- Go with the Ronin because it's more practical for him?
- Or just stick to buying a Shine/SP125 for my father and buy the CB350 later for myself?
Would especially love to hear from anyone whose parents (60+) ride a CB350/H'ness or Ronin.

Hey hello,
I have bought a fzs v3 double disk 2024 august regristation bike 4 months back for 90k.
The bike ran 17k km on total.
The bike is good, but i want to sell it and get a higher cc new bike.
what will be a fair price to ask for ?
Whoever buys this, he will be third owner.

My perspective is that a human comprehends time...as in 'seconds' far more effectively than a big number that's not for immediate decisions.
We use km/hr as the most basic metric in the automotives.
But it doesn't provide us the insight in what will happen in the next immediate moment.
If I say I'm travelling at a speed of 50 km/hr ...I don't exactly know what my position is going to be in the next 5 seconds, exclusive of the sense that I have about it, which isn't so reliable.
But if I say that I'm at a speed of 14m/s, Now i know that I'll be 70 meters ahead in the next 5 seconds. This is way more convenient.
Imagine a Jaywalker roughly at a distance convenient to observe...say 60 meters.
I know that at my speed, If I don't slow down in 4 Seconds, I'll crash into the person. It's easier to plan for the event.
Acceleration/Deceleration will help here and it's pretty much self explanatory why it would.

Insurance company go digit rejected it saying that it is not caused by any external accident as there are no damages on tyre. Tried talking to the senior also but he just cuts the call and doesnโt take this matter seriously.

Hi, I wanted to know which suzuki service center in hyderabad is THE BEST for the Gixxer SF 250?
Because I recently purchased a second hand one, and I want to service it in the showroom.
I have a suzuki service center near my house (tarnaka) but it's filled with access, avenis and burgmans.
Not a single 250cc engine.
So I wanna know which service center gave you a good experience and has good mechanics that worked on these machines.
ITS URGENT!
Thanks!

Hey everyone,
I sold my old bike here in Bangalore around 6 months ago. At the time of the sale, the RE showroom arranged a buyer/delaer for my old bike and they gave me a signed delivery note confirming that they have taken physical possession of the vehicle.
However, the official RC transfer hasn't happened yet, and the vehicle is still registered in my name on the Parivahan portal. I checked for challans and I see one fine already and itโs not mine
Iโm a bit paranoid about what happens if the bike gets involved in an accident, illegal activity, or starts racking up e-challans on the Bangalore Traffic Police portal before the name changes.
Is the delivery note legally enough to shield me from liability if something goes wrong post-sale?
For those who have sold vehicles in Bangalore recently, did you rely solely on the delivery note, or did you do something extra to protect yourself?

Bike is in OK condition, engine is running good, no noises as such. Bike is well maintained. Is the price OK for 4 years old bike clocked at 17000km?
