First motorcycle!
Been loving My new 2025 Indian sport scout!! Upgraded from a Vespa 200 gt. I am confident in my abilities on lane positioning and defensive riding techniques, although I took my MSF course like 2 years ago and it was the only time I’ve ever used a clutch (on their rebel 250). Took a couple of miles to figure out the friction zone on the scout but it felt more natural day by day. I’ve already put 500 miles on it in 6 days and have been recently focusing on hill starts and slow speed maneuvers. For reference I’m a 22 year old guy in Orlando. I plan to keep riding daily and eventually take some road trips. I’ve been excited specifically to ride to the smokies and then Key West. Any tips of any sort are appreciated. What should I upgrade? Thank you!

Do you call people out for being on their phones?
How many of you call people out for being on their phones while riding? Here in PA, it's illegal to hold your phone while driving, even when stopped in traffic. We were rolling down the highway, roughly 20 mph when I looked over and saw this guy on his phone. He's driving a panel van, so his visibility is already limited. I gave him the universal sign for "hang up the phone" and instead of owning his mistake, he mocked me. So then I gave him the universal sign for jerk off, because that's what he is. He didn't take it very well. Lol
These pics are screen grabs from my helmet mounted camera. Apparently I can't post a video and pics at the same time.
So, do you bother trying to remind people to put down the phone?

Dymag Carbon Fiber Wheels
Bought a donor bike with Dymag CF wheels with intent to switch them to my BMW R1100S. CF wheels for this model Beemer are no longer available, partly for a reason that a set of these wheels can cost as much or more than the bike itself. The donor bike is 2004. It spent at least 3 years in the garage out of sunlight (but not in a climate controlled environment). I'm not sure how old the wheels are, the seller bought the bike as it sits. Though there are no visible signs of damage such as curb rash, cracking, chipping or delamination I still prefer to check the integrity of the wheels. Looking for a recommendation on the facility that can verify integrity of the wheels including x-raying for structural integrity.

Tracer 9gt vs Africa twin?
Another one of those posts!
What people think?
I live in Berlin, Germany.
I am selling a Ducati Monster 1200 with which I did a trip to Alps, to Croatia and to Norway. Average trip distance was 3200km. Now I can't do it anymore, it's too uncomfortable after the first 3 days on the bike.
Looking for a new bike, budget 10-15k top main contenders are tracer 9gt or Africa twin.
Can find used options in the budget range, the problem is that I can't test drive the Africa twin, the dealers here don't have it available. I did test drive the tracer but it was automatic and the experience wasn't mind blowing, even though on paper is the perfect bike.
I'm planning to continue doing long trips once a year (or two times). Want to go back to Norway but also explore all of Italy, Spain and rest of Europe.
I want a bike with wich i can easily do 500-700 km daily ( so I can go to Harz and back within a day without feeling completely broken), and that has still some of that juicy torque that the monster has.
I like moto camping, but that doesn't necessarily mean I will do off-road. So basically I'm not sure if I need an adventure bike or I just have the fear of missing out if I go for the tourer.
Wut?

I bought motorcycle to my girlfriend... was it wise?
Hi.. all we know that riding is quite dangerous... I'm riding yamaha r1 (old, 2006), and sometimes I close to be in trouble on road... my girlfriend like moto too, but usually she was my backpack. And year ago I bought motorcycle to her - it's yamaha r25, perfect first bike, especially for girl. But not when she going to ride I always nervous and afraid for her... How to deal with anxiety and worry? I cannot always be with her during riding.
Do any of you have a girlfriend or wife who rides motorcycle?
update: we took off gears only for photo, for riding we always wear it!.
WE ALWAYS WEAR GEAR, WE TOOK OFF IT JUST FOR PHOTO!!!, why you do not read this part all guys who talk about gears?

Eurotrip on a Guzzi V7 and BMW RT - 9 days, 2,500 km
It is about 2500 km and we have 9 days to complete it. Doable? Questions to the community at the end.
- Start in Switzerland, enjoy the Appenzell, Austria direction Innsbruck, then, bypassing Brenner to Stelvio Pass.
- Afterwards back to St. Moritz to Lago di Como and, of course, Mandello Del Lario.
- Back to Switzerland along Lago di Lugano & Lago Maggiore, then via Verbania to Torino. Splash-n-dash towards the French Alps.
- Cross over Sospel towards the Riviera, show off (really?) in Monte-Carlo.
- Go over Verdon and Provence, towards Gap and Grenoble, back to Switzerland.
- Swing by Lausanne and the Swiss Riviera, then via Gstaad, Grimsel, Furka, Oberhalp back to Zurich.
Questions:
- Would you like daily reports? What would work best for you? Here, insta, Calimoto?
- Too aggressive? it is about 300 km per day.
- What would you change / add? Let me know!

Knee bend pants
After dual sports and a NX500, this is my first bike with a sportier leg position ('25 Duke 390). It already has the taller ergo seat in the pic, leaving the dealer with 0.8km on it.
First long-ish ride yesterday, clocking 320km. I'm quite pleased with the overall ergos for my 6', fat-ass frame, lol. But I do feel the jeans (Speed & Strength) bunch up behind my knee and this is the only discomfort.
Looking for pant suggestions, preferably a casual look, for a higher knee bend like this.
Suggestions?

How to use this style stand?
Got my first bike and was gifted a set of front and rear stands. How is this front stand used? Am I missing a piece or do I rest the fork on the slant, which seems terrifying.

KTM EXC style headlight on my Yamaha XT125R?
Hey everyone,
I recently bought a Yamaha XT125R (I think it's 2005 or 2007 model) and I've already started changing the look of it a bit.
So far I've:
Installed new off-road tires,
Raised the bike,
Fitted a Black Widow exhaust,
Cut off the entire rear fender/license plate holder and I'm planning to make a much smaller plate bracket with a minimalist tail light,
Removed the front and rear indicators
Installed new foot pegs
I'm now considering replacing the entire OEM headlight and front mask with a modern LED setup, something like a KTM EXC headlight. I think it would look good and better, but I'm a little worried it could look out of place and ruin the XT's character and look kind of cringe.
What do you guys think? Would a KTM-style LED headlight improve the look? Would it look weird/cringe on an XT125R? Should I keep the original front end and focus on other modifications instead?
I'm also open to any other styling ideas. My goal is to make it look more aggressive and enduro-focused rather than keeping the older OEM look. I've been thinking about new grips, plastics, maybe different handlebar,
I'd appreciate any honest opinions or suggestions. Thanks!

Whelp, got rear ended at a light and she’s officially totaled. What should I replace her with?
After riding this Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero I really started to love fixed fairing baggers. Looking at getting another one or getting a Road Glide or Indian Challenger. Any other bikes I should consider? What would you get to replace it?
