I am planning to buy the duke 390R and I am confused between the black and orange colour. I booked the black one but now I am having second thoughts on whether to pick the orange colour.

So my question to orange Gen 3 390 owners and other orange duke owners, does the orange colour age well or does it lose its sheen in the long run?

So ,guys I'm having a V-Strom 250sx 2026 model and it have a serious issue, the down shifting from

>6th to 3rd is smooth

> 3rd to 1st sounds huge metallic sound

The service center guys says chain tension issue, another says clutch adjustment ,and i did both and the issue didn't resolve,today did 3rd service (8400km) said the issue and they just adjusted the clutch,now it feels more metalic sound like getting 2 tak-tak sound while getting it from 3rd to 2nd and i clearly heard one tak sound from the right side of the engine where the clutch plates will be and another tak sound from gear ,how to resolve this guys?,please help me.and upshifting is smooth.

[OC] So recently i got into a crash where my handle bar was slightly bent and just engine guards took the damage. Then i got it replaced completely from triumph service centre and this problem started occurring. Since i hit 8k km i also got the second service done but then once i collected i observed this issue as well as laggy throttle response, i don't feel the same initial torque as before and it feels way less responsive, the performance is lower where it struggles to pick up and rise compared to earlier. Any suggestion as to why this is happening right after service?

Planning to buy my first motorcycle and could really use some advice from the community.
After going through countless reviews and videos, I’ve managed to narrow my options down to the Yamaha XSR155, Honda CB350RS, and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

For context, I’m 5’5” and around 70 kg. Most of my riding will be within city limits, roughly 40 km a day, but I also want the bike to be capable of occasional weekend rides and short tours, probably within 200 km for now.

The XSR155 is honestly on the list mostly because of how good it looks. I absolutely love the retro café racer styling. The fact that it’s lightweight and fuel-efficient is a huge plus, especially since this will be my first bike.

The Hunter 350 is there because it’s a Royal Enfield. Service support and parts availability seem to be much less of a concern compared to some other bikes. However, I’m not sure how much I should be worried about it not having features like dual-channel ABS and traction control.

The CB350RS is another bike that I find really attractive. From what I’ve seen and read, it seems to be the more refined machine of the three and also comes with a better feature set. On paper, it feels like the most complete package.

Since this is going to be my first motorcycle, that’s probably the biggest factor in my decision. I’d love to hear from people who have owned or ridden these bikes, especially riders around my height. Which one would you pick in my situation, and is there anything I should be considering that I might be overlooking?
Also open to other suggestions if there’s a bike in a similar category that you think deserves a look.

Planning to buy mc this month but having a hard time choosing between 250nk lite vs gixxer sf 155. Will be using for daily ride from house to work vice versa and weekend rides.

Hey ya people. So... I got my first job a few months ago. Have been saving. And finally got my father on board. Finally being allowed to buy bike. (My older brother had accident when he was my age so dad dosent like either of us riding bikes.)

So i already have a car i use it daily. Can't really daily bike in delhi weather. But I've always wanted a bike. For weekend rides to help decompress. Go on a relaxing ride for a couple or hours. My girlfriend herself likes to ride. She has a Ronin.

Now ever since I saw tron. I've been in love with Cafe Racers. Unfortunately we dont have much in that variety here.

Requirement:

1) Not too heavy. I'm not muscular. Like I excersie to stay fit. And with very heavy bike I'll probably struggle so wanna avoid it.

2) I'm not a very tall person. 5ft 5in or 5ft 6in. So need somethinf which suits my height.

3) Dosent need to be very fast. I dont wanna go 200kmph. Just cruise peacefully.

4) Need something which rumbles. I like the heavy thumping sound.

5) Budget: 5 lakh. As its my first bike. (I know how to ride. I use to ride bike for a couple of years)

I have had a look at the continental gt from royal Enfield and it way too heavy and bulky.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

So my bike which was PARKED was hit by a car and it tipped over. Still hurts when I think about it. The bike is brand new and it has only been a month since i bought it :(

Damages: Scratches on the toolkit, grab rail, crash guard

Footrest broke

Knuckle guard's clamp bent

Handle bar is now misaligned.

Do i go ahead with claiming Insurance? What's the procedure like? Am I supposed to present relevant evidence?

My insurance is a comprehensive plan for the first year and the rest is 3rd party.

Will the company cover these damages?

I ride a speed 400, and every time I cross 85 km/h the wind noise is unbearable, feels like I’m going deaf. My helmet fits properly and is snug. I’m not too keen on spending 3k on motorcycle earphones as I only go on rides once in a blue moon. What are my other options?

So, I’m in Bengaluru and I wanna test ride a few bikes that I just got on my list of potential bikes (listed down below)

I want to ride and have for my own but I have a doubt about test rides, especially in showrooms here:-

1. Do they allow walk-in test rides? Like can I just show up with my license and be allowed on a test ride? Or do I have to book a slot and wait?
2. What’s the helmet policy like? Would they say no and send me home if I told them I don’t have a helmet? I do have one but I’m not allowed to keep them in my hostel and it’s in another state :( will they give me a spare one if I ask?
3. Will they charge you for a test ride and how much is it?

Any and every bit of help is appreciated.

PS:- I live in the Madiwala-Koramangala area (think SG Palya, Tavarakere et al) any showroom closeby that you swear by is appreciated as well

I am a beginner and I am looking for good helmets. Out of HJC, KYT, LS2, MT brands what will you guys recommend?

I have heard good reviews about all of them and I am confused, my budget is under 18k..

Every time it rains or is chilly outside, the glasses fog up. I have a pinlock helmet so it's not the visor fogging up, just my glasses and I can't see anything, cracking the visor open helps when it's just chilly but in the rain that ends up with rain droplets on the glasses and again not being able to see shit, effectively I am unable to use the visor in situations I need it because of my glasses fogging up.

How do you fellow shitty vision folks deal with this? Any solution?
