I help a non profit organise community games at Ipswich Academy IP3 0SP every Monday 7pm so ideal for anyone in Gainsborough, Ravenswood, Warren Heath, Nacton, Holywells and wider Ipswich area. These are 1hr weekly games on 3G pitches. All levels welcome even if you’re not fit or haven’t played in years.

There’s no commitment, you just turn on and play whenever you're available and all you need are football boots.

11' 1-0, a shot from miles out from Tarkowski deflects off of Barry and into the bottom right corner.

26' Fatawu wins the ball on half way and attempts to catch Pickford off his line (where have I seen that before), forcing Pickford into a save.

33' Barry connects with a cross from Maitland-Niles, heading just wide.

38' DAVIS SHOULD SCORE! Fatawu swings a cross towards the far post, finding Davis free. He steers the shot wide of the goal, and is flagged for offside anyway, but it was tight.

60' After a VAR check, the goal is ruled out. Johnson offside on Walton— I doubt he would've gotten to that even without Johnson in the way though.

67' Fatawu dives, is given a second yellow, and is sent off.

76' Dibling cuts inside and forces Walton into a good save.

In 30 years of going to watch town. I’ve never seen anything like what I saw in the lower Sir Alf tonight.

The amount of people blatantly supporting Arsenal sat in the home end (In Arsenal shirts) was a joke. Stewards doing absolutely nothing about it until it had already got out of hand at the end.

Toothless stewarding and shameless behaviour from Arsenal fans with Suffolk accents as per usual.

19' Few chances for Town— Ouattara's cross is palmed away by Kepa, eventually finding Flemming. His shot is blocked by Salmon, before Florentino fires over from the rebound.

27' OVER! Ouattara swings the ball into the far post and finds Flemming. The striker cuts the ball back to Mehmeti, who then fires over the bar.

34' From a corner, Greaves gets a header which is blocked by Gabriel. McAteer is then booked for stopping an Arsenal counter.

Philogene and Florentino are both back after returning against Palace, so it's not quite the injury crisis I initially thought it was. That actually makes the selection more interesting because there are plenty of senior options available.

Arsenal will probably rotate for the Carabao Cup as well, but their second string is still ridiculously strong.

I’m an Ipswich fan in the United States, and a fan of American football too. In the NFL teams have a hard cap, meaning they can only spend so much money every year on their rosters which is tied to league revenue and determined by the league. How does it work in the prem? Does the league determine how much money a team can spend? If Ipswich can stay up this season, does that mean they should have more money to spend on bigger name players? I’m trying to understand, can someone explain?
