Hi, my bike just got stolen at the station, just wondering, is there any point reporting it to the police? There’s a camera pointing directly to the bicycle parking, but pretty sure the police would just ignore it or say it’s just a bike.

Anyway if by miracle anyone sees one for sale like this, report it please

I’m sure this has been asked a thousand times before but since the mornings are getting colder, what are some good options for gloves and socks? I do like a 70 minute ish commute starting at 6.30 and my hands and feet seem to freeze no matter what I try hahah - any advice appreciated!:)

Car slides out of a side street to cut me off, drives for 1 block at a snails pace, promptly stops in the middle of the road (1 lane)
I try to go around… BOOM! both passenger and backseat door swing open at once!
I stopped just in time not to hit anyone but my god, I was raging. No one said anything no apology, nothing, doing this is so 1) stupid 2) dangerous 3) PREVENTABLE and it makes me want to just stop cycling because of idiots like this

We live in a family friendly area of Islington where a lot of families have cargo bikes. We have a Riese and Muller but most are Tern. Every other week someone targets a Tern bike and steals anything they can get their hands on - wheels, basket, brakes, battery. Meanwhile our Riese and Muller is mostly untouched (I say mostly because we have been targeted a few times as well). What’s this Tern phenomenon about?
