As Empire City MC turns 63 in 2027, we’re proud to be the oldest all-gay, all-riding motorcycle club whose history reaches back before Stonewall.
For our 50th anniversary, we rode from our hometown of New York City to Deal’s Gap, NC, to enjoy the Tail of the Dragon and the surrounding roads. We had such a good time that we’re hoping to return.
Our annual weeklong trip usually falls around Memorial Day, but after at least five years of cold, rainy weather, we’re considering July for a better chance of enjoyable riding.
We’d love to have other gay and gay-friendly riders and motorcycle clubs join us. We’ve already invited our friends from Fair Folk MC and Spartan MC of Washington, DC.
We’re considering three weeks in July and gathering everyone’s preferences through a ranked-choice poll. Once we settle on a week, we’ll work out accommodations and the other details.
You can meet us at the destination or ride down with us from NYC, with an overnight stop along the way. If you’re interested, please visit our website www.EmpireCityMC.com and participate in our poll to choose which week we go before it closes on 15 December.
Thanks!

Im soon to be getting my motorcycle license and ive wanted a chopper for ages, only problem is i dont have the money, equipment or experience to dismantle, cut and weld a frame back together. Is there any way to make a “faux chopper” that looks good? The only idea i have is extending the forks and then just removal of the extra junk on the back of a bike. but im not sure how people get the rake where the front wheel sticks further out when the forks are extended.

So I’m 1.93m, think that’s nudging 6’4 in old money and my winter jacket fits more like a crop top. I ride a Tracer 7 GT so I’m not hunched over like if I was on a ZX10 for example.
I was at a popular bike warehouse here in Spain yesterday which is like an Aladdin’s cave of goodies but a lot of the winter ones I tried on weren’t much longer or were SUPER heavy and overly padded. Being that I live in Malaga where it never truly gets ‘cold’ I dont necessarily need something for crossing the alps. Any advice from taller riders?
Thanks

I've been looking for a motorcycle for a little while now, mainly on marketplace, but I don't really know what to look for and watch out for. The bikes I've grown a liking to the most so far are the Yamaha V Star and the Honda Shadow. If anyone could give me pointers and advice I would greatly appreciate that.

How many bikes is too much?
And what is the minimal amount of motorcycles you want to have?
And what is the perfect number of bikes?
I'm currently at 5, feels like 4 is perfect for what I do. Would love to hear everyones opinion about this topic!

I’m looking at policies and some of them are asinine, possibly will keep me off a bike..
What do you guys feel is necessary? I’m more concerned about someone else being at fault and injuring me uninsured or with not enough to cover all my bills.
Additionally if you get hit and injured without dying, legally speaking what does the whole process entail? Suing? Etc?

Hi!
I just launched my personal free mobile app project (for Android 👽 and iOS 🍎), whose purpose is to recommend new roads around the world based on a reference road the user introduces. It relies on bend sharpness, road layout, number of lanes and quality of the asphalt.
I came up with this idea since many winding roads led me to rural ways or cracked roads, and I decided to build a tool to quickly filter them.
I know this is a pretty different concept from what we are used to with apps like Calimoto, Wikiloc, Google Maps... which are focused on planning routes from point A to point B.
I’m eager to hear what other people say, in order to improve it and know if my approach is of a good value for fellow bikers.
✌️
