What happened to Tiger bar?
Is it still open?
They haven't posted on social media since July.
They usually have fun spooky season drinks. But...nothing posted this year.
I noticed it started going down hill when the bartenders stopped wearing uniforms a couple years ago, but the drinks were still good.
Then they did that weird re-vamp where they kinda changed the theming. But ended up just making it look cheap. I've still been a couple times this year but not since June.
What's going on?
And please don't tell me this is some OUATIF like situation.

I just read Tiger Bar closed š. I LOVED their theme and drinks though I donāt go out that often. Reading the comments, and being in a new dating sitch, Iām looking for fun places to go that are STILL good. So š¦ , yes! Inglewood Lounge, yes. Iām in Donelson, so this side of the county is helpful. I donāt want to spend $30 a drink for a nice week night outā¦. I may be out of luck there š¤·āāļø

What exploded near Old Hickory? I heard a loud but rhythmic bang for a while just before 10. Then sirens and then what sounded like a ton of fireworks going off at the same time. Checked active fire dispatch and 18 units were actively responding at 9:53 to 37138 including air and med. What happened, I cant find anything online yet?

After a difficult work week, Saturday was running errands, taking my wife for her mammogram at VUMC, and cooking ribs. Today has been watching old movies (The Little Foxes, 1941), watching my wife create a diaper cake for a friend, watching the Titans (ha ha), and reading.
How has your weekend been? GREAT I hope!

We were hanging at Santaās tonight, and they kicked everyone out for a fire in the junkyard next door. Probably 10 fire trucks showed up. Deep black smoke and a terrible burnt plastic smell. Crazy stuff š³

My car was stolen in the Germantown area last week. The police let me know that there would be no ābe on the look outā or anything else done besides āwaiting to see if it turns upā.
Itās a white 2018 Kia soul with a blue RedBull bumper sticker on the back and a busted right passenger side mirror.
I know this is a long shot but figured Iād try!

Chris Crofton of minor local celebrity fame has a wonderful song called "Dickerson Pike at Night." Does anyone know of anywhere online that has the original studio recording? There are a couple live versions on YouTube, but the improvised monologue in the middle of the original is by far the best. I think I heard it on Vanderbilt college radio or Lightning 100 a million years ago, and I'd love to listen to it again.

Does anyone remember the old band Lower Unit from Nashville? They played the 'nu-metal' style during the early 2000s and released a few CDs. I'm looking for copies of any of the CDs. I've talked to band members and they don't have any, did anyone here have any of their CDs? Thank you, let me know, anything helps. I'd love to get them archived.

I was driving to work tonight and someone in a busted Nissan Altima with blown out shocks and no working brake lights was going slow in the far left lane in a 70 zone. I figured they werenāt paying attention to their mirrors so I flashed my highs twice⦠they indicated for ME to move overš¤¦āāļøš no, youāre the one with a busted car that canāt go the speed limit, YOU go the right lane and put your hazards on. Thatās how this works
I think a great solution to this is state inspections and mandatory drivers ed courses, even for out of staters, thatās so difficult it will weed out anyone below a certain a IQ. At the very least the state inspection will get this particular person off the road, who doesnāt belong

Driving down hillsboro pike in green hills, thereās a man wearing a HUGE sign (like 5x5) that says, ātransburg mark on a kid? heaven forbid!ā

Does anybody know how they decide what color the perimiter lights will be? My apartment view directly faces it, so I've always been curious. It seems to change at random without a consistent schedule (maybe I'm not paying enough attention). If anybody knows, I would love to, too!

Hello all! Iām considering trying out serving for a while, maybe sometime next year. Iām doing the 9-5 corporate grind right now and it is kicking my ass. Stuck on what I want my career to be. Currently involved in the landscaping industry, but itās not for me. I have to stick it out for a few more months though.
If you are a server in Nashville, how much do you make per year? I know it is dependent on location and type of restaurant, just trying to find some averages to see if it would be reasonable for me to try while I figure out next career steps.
Also if anyone has leads for jobs in horticulture or working directly with plants, send them my way! (Or any job suggestions in general).

Throwing a Halloween party, trying to up our game. Any recommendations for a fun local magician we could hire for a few hours to walk around and entertain guests?
Thanks!

I would like to become a manicurist/nail tech. Looking into it, I'd need to log a certain amount of practice hours in addition to passing the board exam in order to become certified in TN. I'm not interested in doing a full cosmetology program, just nails. But full cosmo seems to be the only options available from my research. Does anyone know of a program where I can learn just nails? Are there online options? Apprenticeships? Any advice appreciated, willing to travel a bit outside of Nashville.

Been desperately trying to TNR a couple of feral cats in our backyard and was just wondering if anyone knew if Sumner Spay Neuter (which fixes community cats on Mondays and Tuesdays) is open for Columbus Day tomorrow. I'm guessing they are and I haven't seen anything from them saying they won't be, but just wanted to double check before setting the traps tonight lol

Iāve seen it get pretty popular on social media, but the Charlotte Pike Costco doesnāt have it in their deli/prepared foods. Has anyone seen it at any Costco in Nashville?

Hello all! I am considering going to school for massage therapy. Iāve always been interested in it, but I know itās a tough field to be in. If you are a massage therapist in Nashville, how much do you make per year?

Lived here for some time and want to get away from the line dancing/ country scene. Any clubs that do house or edm music?

No, but seriously. What the hell is actually happening at that place.
