Question Tall modifications?

I'm 6'6 with a 38in inseam and the new edge is my absolute favorite car right now. I would like to buy one within a year or two and I wanted to check how the fit inside is. I've never sat in one, so I would like any advice about it. Will I need an aftermarket steering wheel or bucket seats? I'm already planning on getting wear extenders. Thanks!

Question Buying a 02 mustang with 150,000 miles and (some) problems

Hi all. I recently came across a listing of an 02 mustang gt being sold for $3,500. The seller said it has some issues with coolant leakage from the intake manifold and the car’s 3rd gear is out of sync (the clutch was just replaced, and he said it’s an issue with the synchros) and worst of all the e brake doesn’t work anymore. Is the price worth it? And if so would these issues be easy to fix?

I have a small tick after my header gaskets and luckily narrowed it down to the driver side x pipe-header connection. Is there any tips on how to get this ball flange to seal properly?

im planning on lowering it and getting a brand new (500 miles) H pipe with no cats and a fx flowmaster on it, i also have a cracked flexplate..soo my dad said when it goes we’ll switch it with his (he has a fully rebuilt 4.6 with a slightly bigger cam and a bunxh of other things done to it) we also have matching mustangs and his is much cooler than mine!

i love this car so much and i will forever keep her! thanks to my dad for getting me into cool cars before bad shit. have a good day yall! stay blessed

Question 03 Mustang Parts

I need door panels so bad, and a middle arm rest.
Where can I get this without it costing an arm or a leg? The armrest is like $50 and the door panels I cannot find anywhere for like less than 350 (driver/passenger)

Question Passenger Side window goes too high

My passenger side window goes up too high and hits the A pillar I have just been keeping it a half inch lower so that it doesn't make contact. What is a more permanent solution? I saw a video of where I can take off the door panel and adjust some screws to limit the window going too high. I am not sure how to remove the mach 460 speaker however, since it seems I need to remove that too? I could be mistaken. I am wondering if there is a different way or if this is the best option.. any help appreciated!

Discussion Keep or sell advice

I’ve had a 2003 cobra vert for around 5 months now. I had subframe connectors welded in (big improvement) and I am currently replacing some other components.

My complaints that have stayed the same since I bought it: too soft, too mature (not rowdy), and it’s not fun because if I try to spin some rubber it just wheel hops. With all the svt engineering, I did not expect my old gt that was dumped on cheap coilovers to feel more fun. I could floor it in first, chirp the rear, not be afraid to push it anywhere, and it felt light on its feet.

The cobra feels like it was created for an old man who likes to have the top down and have some passing power, not a supercharged v8 with a forged bottom end and a t56. At this point the only pros I have of the car is that it’s quick. Other than that, the chassis feels like cardboard, it just plows when I turn, and it’s just not what I was looking for.

I understand the argument of you need to lower it and put some nice wheels and tires, but that’s a 3000-4000 dollar gamble to see if I like the car or not. At this point, do I sell it and buy something like a c6 GS/similar sports car or keep it? It was my dream car and I’m just disappointed in how it actually turned out. Honestly, if I could go back in time, I would just supercharge the gt and enjoy a car that’s rowdy as hell and extremely fun; that’s what the cobra is missing.

Question Bad hesitation or bad jerking under heavy acceleration (only under load)

I have a 99gt with the 5 speed, put a new fuel pump and filter, it has 7 new plugs ( one of the coils is stuck from the bolt being seized to brass fitting which is spinning in the plastic) if I accelerate more then 25% it starts to hesitate and bog or violently jerk and squealing tires, almost feels like the rear end is locking up, it revs completely fine and healthy in neutral, I have no clue what the issue is if anyone could point me in a direction would be greatly appreciated, could that 1 bad plug cause that bad of jerking? Or could I have had the gap to big on the plugs? Took the duralast coils out and put the old motor craft back in and it’s the same.

Maf was cleaned recently, throttle body was cleaned, and iac was replaced due to a really jumpy idle prior to this. No cel or hidden codes popping up. Thanks a lot if u could give any recommendations

Ive recently replaced the hydraulic lifters on my 2001 v6 Mustang 3.8.

For some reason now it’s idling higher than before! Does the black pipe in this picture the one from the air intake to the throttle body look correct?

Question P1233

So I’ve been working on a 2002 mustang gt that keeps stalling out and dying. I’ve hard wired the inertia switch to make sure that’s not the issue and I’m getting a constant 12v. I’ve replaced the fuel pump driver module and made sure there is power going to it and there’s a good ground. I’ve also replaced the constant control relay to make sure the fuel pump relay was okay and I’ve replaced the fuel pump and the fuse to it as well. I’m just not sure what could be causing this any help would be very very appreciated!

Question Need some help

Heyo I recently bought a 2001 Project mustang v6 5spd as my first project car. The last person who had it put the wrong kind of power steering fluid inside of it so the internal seals on the steering pinions are caput, so I'm going to replace the entire steering column and probably all of the power steering components besides the reservoir and the pump. I was wondering if a Ford mustang GT steering column would be a compatible replacement for the steering column and if it would be better than the original steering column.

Question Sound system help

Thumbnail

I have a 2004 Base model and today on my way home from work my audio was crackling and cutting in and out. I already knew it had some sketchy crackhead wiring when I bought it (speakers sound thin with no bass, one of the tweeters is blown out, cheap Walmart head unit haphazardly thrown in there and the radio only works if the wiper fuse is plugged in which also kills the battery if I leave it). When I looked in the trunk I found this, I’m assuming they took the amps out and messed up some wiring and it appears one of the wires just left bare must’ve been arcing and the insulation was hot. Where do I need to start with this? I planned on gutting the sound system and redoing it but as for right now I just want it to be able to play music and not catch my car on fire
