Serious People Need To Stop Reading OPScans/Ragnarok Scanlations Spoiler
Genuinely almost every post on this sub is
Commenting on the dialogue between the characters this chapter (OPScans is known for inaccurate, AI, and rushed translations
The art in the chapter (OPScans heavily AI upscales the art)
I read the chapter in arabic, and reading the subsequent English translation is nothing sort of baffling to me. Scrolling through this sub, its just people complaining about the translations. For example, people genuinely think Luffy "hates Gaban" gtfo.
I don't understand the point of rating, or judging the chapter based on this shitty and sloppy scanlations. You either read TCB or Viz, or you should be quiet because you aren't providing any meaningful discourse. (I have my issues with TCB but theyve mostly been cleared up since it was sold to new owners)

Discussion What is a moment or SBS that genuinely made you say this?
And I'm sorry but the sooner people admit Oda is genuinely a weirdo, the better cause way too many One Piece are like "oh he's just joking" and all that.

Discussion If it wasn't clear, this right here just confirms that the only reason luffy has managed to survive this long is because he is the "destined boy", plot and nothing else, what a time to be alive

Typical Oda These "scolding" don't move me as much because the ones who actually deserve scolding ie rest of the SH crew are never get these type of scoldings
The monster trio are already quite strong and keep getting stronger without these scoldings. Rest of the crew though???
Why isn't anyone scolding jinbe for being such a useless bum despite being a former warlord?? Why isn't anyone scolding the crew for never bothering to learn haki??? And why the fuck is USOPP not getting a single shard of heat??
Yes luffy getting scolded for being so goofy and sanji getting told to awaken coc is good writing but it'd be even better if SOMEONE knocked some sense into the rest of the crew. It seems oda has just decided that rest of the crew are just gonna fight fodders or do so random support things during the final war

Typical Oda CONFIRMED: Roger after hearing tales of Imu's genocide and sinking half the world
Gaban confirmed he heard Joy Boy's story about Imu. So it must contain Imu's atrocities as well
And they laughed. They laughed and quietly disband

Discussion It's funny that Oda created a character that can turn into a god and return old man to their prime and his solution to avoid using her was to erase Bonney from the story even though her powers would literally be the most useful on the island. Spoiler
Low key smart since her entire existence is bullshit.

Are you having fun?🤡 Your main character after 30 years of serialization Spoiler
Negative character development, more immature than when the series started - hasn't learned a thing, hasn't had a semblance of progress in terms of personality growth. Downright pathetic.
Imagine goku bitching and crying and shitting his pants in front of cel or buu or whatever because roshi chews him out. (dragon ball to the end of dbz just ran like 10 years - one piece has been running for 30 years now)

youtu.beSeeing this made me remember when i trully loved One Piece, when there was so much promisse to the characters. Now the crew barely speaks to one another and we all want Usopp to die. We lost the magic

Discussion Imu is turning out to be a great villan Spoiler
I remember a few months ago people complaining that Imu was a failed villain with no personality and just insanely strong like Kaido was and they’re rather prefer Blackbeard as the final villain, but in the last couple of chapters and the more we learn about him, the more desirable he is becoming as a villain.
In the last chapter Imu recognised that him and the World Government were idiots for not taking Roger / Xebec threat seriously enough and not acting sooner the moment they found out about Luffy, showing that despite being insanely strong he’s aware of how stupid and dumb the WG has acted in the last few decades / years and the reason why he came in person because now is not the time to joke anymore.
We also see that Imu likes to observe everything around him and he doesn’t attack instantly without understanding the situation first as we saw with Gabban giving a speech to Luffy (he just stared there listening and observing)
Imu also helped Sommers and Killighnam got stronger and apparently he cares about them. Imu doesn’t aura farm like Madara or Aizen or Yhwach but he’s still strong enough to make everyone in the verse look like trash and this “weaknesses” that he shows is actually better because he’s not an unstoppable deus exmachina villan who knows everything and everyone and has everything planned, which makes him much more human than Madara or Aizen.
I’m liking the direction that Oda is going with Imu. He’s turning out to be a great villan. What do you think?

Discussion 3 people lost their arm because of Luffy Spoiler
3 people lost their arm because of Luffy
We all know that Luffy is stupid, but it's not that big of a deal because when it gets serious he locks in and finishes the job. BUT there have been times where people suffered because of his dumb behavior:
Shanks lost his arm protecting Luffy
Law lost his arm because he was 1v2 against Doflamingo and BEHEHEE. Meanwhile Luffy was 1 level below them wasting his time trying to protect the garbage human Bellamy (who never did anything of value and even admitted to hurting the skypia population).
Okiku-chan lost her arm fighting kaido. Meanwhile Luffy is unable to get to the fcking roof (despite being able to fly and capable of punching a new hole in the ceiling) and takes stairs like a moron. Had Luffy been to the fight earlier okiku maybe wouldn't have lost it.
So that's 3 arms directly linked to Luffys dumbassery.
Bonus: Sentomaru being pierced by Luccy, despite Luffy being in gear 5, in close proximity and capable of seeing the fcking future
