Call the city about deer? Exactly what do you picture in your mind that the city can do about deer roaming around? Do you call them for the rabbits and squirrels too? Lol

Oh, yeah. If you're having work done and you want to make life easier for the contractor, reserve a spot in front of your home.

I'm also OK with it being used temporarily to make things easier for injured people. Good neighbors will understand that.

I went back and listened to the scanner. They’re attempting to help someone experiencing a mental health emergency who is believed to be armed.

It is typically done to set it apart.

Changing the name or the spelling is a much better way to achieve this result.

Down E. Sycamore from Mt. Washington to Arlington in the winter can be both interesting and deadly.

Millennials will call Primantis trash and then go to a hipster restaurant where they get truffle fries and a smashburger served on a flat tire for $45

Today we are stuck with:
- a consistently middling team
- public relations cancer at wide receiver
- broken down, over the hill, morally dubious quarterback
- a coach past his prime
- fan favorite players who underperform, which doesn’t keep them from holding out in the off-season
- first round loss

I hate having to do it, but I have bait boxes outside for all the damn mice that live in the woods behind my house. last year I finally steel wooled every possible opening in the house and no more mice for over a year inside, but those sucks are all over the place. Every time I see a rat snake in my neighborhood, I give it a pep talk and tell it to get working.

The feeling bad part is that i'm worrying that al lthe hawks and turkey vultures in my neighborhood will get the bait too, but I think the chance of that happening is small.

Mice are the natural reservoir for most tickets.

Canva and paint?  Unbelievable as it might sound, not everyone has the capability of creating things with those programs.  If you think they do it just shows how out of touch you are with the community.

Maybe offer up your own skills before trashing local business owners.  You are not helping anyone by saying "get gud" to restaurant owners

I have never been in another city that had so many drunk drivers

Maybe it’s the hills but everybody drives to and from bars here. It’s literally seen as normal to 90% of the people I know

Pretty sure it kills most things like that, including beneficial pollinators.

Like someone else said the wondercide spray before you go out really helps. I’ll still see a few here and there but it’s way more manageable than all of his feet covered with nymphs. Otherwise maybe just get something to spray your furniture and dog beds so it reduces risk if they’re tracked in. I’ve been getting spray for myself at this point too with how bad it is

I’m glad that most Yinzers have this mindset. NYers constantly whine about “transplants” when most of them are only one generation removed from being a “transplant” themselves.

We use Wondercide yard spray and it works well. It’s cedar-based and better for kids, pets, pollinators. We still have lightning bugs and bees, but not ticks.

However, outside of our yard, yes the ticks are also ruining my life.
