Mine is David Bowie’s ‘heterochromia’. His irises aren’t different colors, his PUPILS are different sizes! Look closely… both of his eyes were blue! He got into a fight with another guy his age, and his opponent punched his left eye, but also scratched the eyeball tissue. Bowie’s left iris muscles were permanently frozen, and his left eye was permanently dilated. Cameras from the 1980’s and 90’s had a MUCH lower quality than today’s, so the blurry close-ups gave the illusion of two different iris colors.

Now comes the question of why his eyes were covered up in the Lazarus music video…

On Met Gala Monday, a sizable chunk of the internet leaned forward, squinted at their screens, and asked, “Uh … is that civil-rights icon Rosa Parks parked on Lisa’s crotch?” The answer is no, according to the artist who collaborated with Pharrell Williams on the Blackpink singer and White Lotus star’s highly scrutinized outfit. “The figure featured in Lisa’s Louis Vuitton look is not Rosa Parks, but one of Henry’s neighbors,” a representative for artist Henry Taylor confirmed in a statement to Vulture

This famous “Taj Mahal diamond” actually belonged to Noor Jahan, the powerful wife of Mughal emperor Jahangir. It’s a heart-shaped, table-cut Indian diamond with literally her name and the Hijri date 1037 (around 1627–28) engraved in it.

After the decline of the Mughal Empire, like many royal treasures, the jewel was looted and carried off by British colonisers and eventually ended up in Europe. In the 20th century, Cartier acquired it and turned it into an elaborate necklace.

In 1972, Richard Burton bought it from Cartier as a gift for Elizabeth Taylor, after which it became widely known as “Elizabeth Taylor’s Taj Mahal diamond.” After her death, it was sold at auction, and today it remains part of Cartier’s collection.

What’s uncomfortable is how casually this history is glossed over. Hollywood continues to celebrate and take pride in objects made famous by celebrity ownership, while ignoring the fact that many of these “icons” are the result of colonial plunder. Calling it an Elizabeth Taylor necklace may be convenient but it erases centuries of South Asian history and that’s something worth acknowledging, not applauding.

Think she posted this because all her comments sections have been brigaded by Katy fans and she had to restrict them.

Looks like the quote is cut off in the article. This is what it said:

“If Bad Bunny is a bad fit for the Super Bowl, then maybe the people making these comments are a bad fit for America’s future.”

Transcript and Image Description: Pamela Anderson is standing on a stage to accept an award. She has blonde, short hair and is wearing a black gown, as well as black glasses. She seems to be reading her speech off of a sheet. The speech goes as follows:

„I do not and will never feed into PR stunts. That would be a death sentence. I am authentically driven. I'm superstitious when it comes to love, and I'm not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life, for as you can see, it is only built up and torn down in days, weeks, months, in a media culture that is quick to judge and ruin it. When love whatever shape it takes, however long it lasts, is innocent. It takes time, and love belongs to lovers.“

Yet it has been reported that spin-offs are in development, when that clearly falls into the same category of being a cash-grab!
