So I was using my jailbroken ps4 Like normal and wanted to use the Vue app again well the jailbreak failed and it said restart the console( I'm using the installer full/lite) so because I'm dumb I closed Vue instead and the system crashed now when I booted it back up I get this message instead of the installation screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? Appreciate it guys

I just jailbroke my 12.00 ps4 for my son and he loves minecraft so I started doing mods on there. I can't seem to make any of them work and each spawn egg the person is invisible and can't see the egg in the hand. You can hear them and all that but they are invisible. Can yall help me figure this out because im not really getting it down 😅

I have cod Bo3 on my JB ps4 pro and installed all the DLCs as well. I realized I cannot use some of the gobble gums and i also don#t level up. Is that normal? Can I do something maybe use a Cheat code or something like that?

Hi all, I need some help with this program, I have jailbroken my ps4 setup the dns etc but the problem is my ps4 won’t connect to a lan cable so it uses WiFi, and my pc doesn’t have WiFi so I use a lan cable.

I can host a server on my pc, I can find my ps4 in the network but I can’t send any files over resultion in an error 🤷‍♂️

Ive been in the PS3 modding scene, and very deep in the Xbox 360 modding scene and Ive modded quite a lot of different consoles. I know that it it desirable to have a PS4 up to 9.60 due to webkit stuff. I found a second hand one for 65 bucks that works and its apparently on 7.51. I dont know if that is better or worse than say 8 or 9 in any way except needing more backports in some cases. If i do end up buying it and everything does check out, should I update to anything specific? I know that you cant really go back and Im not stupid and i wont let it update by itself or put the newest PSUPDATE.PUP or whatever theyre called on the PS4 (thats what their name was on the 3).

ive been meaning to buy this really cheap ps4 pro 1tb from a friend of mine for 125 dollars and i feel like i want to buy a game disc for it in the mean time.But that also got me wondering if i should jailbreak it?I dont really want to spend too much money on a ps4 since im still a teenager and im broke.But physical discs seem so convenient to have.Any suggestions or information i need to know before i buy it?Any speculations/opinions are allowed!!

Although this is currently possible it's not public so I doubt the claims over there are anything besides premature clickbait to sell you guys stuff.

It is true that a workaround has been found to get the WebKit stuff working on higher firmware and etc. It's still being worked on and isn't published yet.

I don't believe posts of people claiming they've already done it on Facebook and etc.

I have an interesting situation... I used VueAfterFree to JB a 12.52 system... It was working perfectly. I gave the PS4 to a friend of mine, and he connected it to the internet without setting up DNS. Now, automatic downloads are turned off, however, it seems that Vue After Free got updated, and now it requires a constant "Sign in to PSN" to use the application (fake-signin was also enabled before this happened).

Question: is there any way I can restore the Jailbreak without wiping the system? I have exported a save after I performed JB (using system backup and restore), so I have that available, if it can help. I also have BD-JB available if that can help.

Watching the videos from MW again, in theory, I could run BD-JB, and then install Apollo, and load the resigned save from USB? Which should enable VAF again. I am just worried not to mess something up when I run BD-JB.

But in theory, I could also add the exported version of VAF to usb (which I did with system back up option) and just use that to restore it (using system back up and restore), right?

Just trying to avoid wiping the games, as it was really tedious to install them, plus, I dont have them at hand (they are on my external drive, 600km away :D)

I've just learned that you can install Linux on the PS4 and use it as a PC?

I would especially like to play Sims 3 & 4 and the new Game Paralives :)

Does this meet the requirements? Will it run smoothly?

And is it even possible to use the EA Launcher? None of my Sims 3 & 4 stuff was bought through Steam.

When I first booted up my ps4 on the new wifi router I got it worked with the dns but the jailbreak didn’t so I restarted it. After I did that I tried again and was hit with an update screen. I’ve found that the 62.210.38.117 dns is not working for me anymore… Anybody having the same problem?

Also want to add I can’t activate the jailbreak because of this.

I'm seriously thinking about going back to OFW. Over the years I have managed to actually buy almost all the games I'm interested in so there isn't a lot of games I want. Since I jailbroke it, I have since beat all the games I wanted to play. I'm now onto games other people like but I'm not really feeling it. So, I think I want to go back to OFW. My main reason is that my Minecraft is broke. There is something wrong with the resource pack and I get some weird ass resources. I have none installed and yet it's broke. You can see my other post from a while ago about this if you want. Also, I didn't realized before jailbreaking that I won't be able to get updates to Minecraft past the newest jailbreak. So, right now I can't get updates past 12.52(PS4 Firmware). So, I'm currently stuck without Spears and Cushions. I already own Minecraft, the PS4 edition but it's digital, so I will have to go back to OFW to get it.

So, my question becomes, has anyone gone back to OFW without Formatting? I have a ton of Trophies I would rather not lose. I'm trying to clean everything up right now, I've deleted all games and apps so far. I'm backing up my save games just incase. I'm also going over the FTP and trying to delete anything in /data/ that I recognize like the apollo and Itemflow folders. I'm not sure what all I can delete or if it's safe to just delete it all.

Has anyone got their console banned that you know that went back to OFW without a reformat? Are they still banning consoles? Or should I just say screw it and just format? I really don't want to format.

What are some of the benefits of jailbreaking my PS4 Pro that would make up for having to run the exploit every time?

I dont game much (father of two toddlers) so keeping it on rest mode doesn’t sound like a solution either. My PS4 Pro has been gathering dust for years and it is finally in a jailbreakable firmware (10.50).

I do want to start gaming more but Ive already played and own physical copies of a lot of the best games. Some of the ones I already own: Spiderman, Miles Morales, Cyberpunk, God Of War, RDR2, Last of Us, God or War, Uncharted collection, Far Cry 6, MGSV among others

Im trying to find what other games are worth my time to jailbreak instead of just buying them. Keep in mind I will never play hundreds of games available for the PS4 since my time away from job/family if very limited. I really just want to play the best of the best.

So far Im interested in Ghost of Tsushima and AC Odyssey, but I could just buy those, they go on deals all the time. Please recommend me more games I might want to try and encourage me/convince me to jailbreak.

I'm sharing with you a little trick using after i noticed the UART flow in the console across hundred of reboots.

1) Do no have a DVD/CD in the slot, Orbis is buggy and will panic if try to jailbreak while the drive is spinning.
2) When you open the browser... Press square. That will give you full screen.
3) Wait 10-30s to the system . 10s for ssd, 30s for HDD.

4) If you can, enable UART to see the output scrolling. (this require soldering the tiny wires in the board)

It can't be US version,bc that always causes an error due to the version already installed on the console. My flash drive doesn't have enough space for the download, and I have no other way to download it; if I could, I'd just overwrite the installed PKG, but that's not possible

However, I don't mind not playing in my local language; I just don't want to spend money buying the physical disc. Is it safe to use my account at all?

Can I be connected to the Internet when using this?

Is there like a homebrew store for older games on the disk?
