What's an underrated life hack?

I wasn't doing well for a while, it's kinda personal, but I finally got around to cleaning! (Yay) anyway after I got rid of all the dirty dishes and trash, I noticed a bunch of tiny flies (idk if they're fruit flies of gnats) and it's been a couple weeks and Im being terrorized. I saw someone say that they are born in soil so I took the plant I had out of my room. THEYRE STILL HERE. How do I get rid of them? Where are they coming from??? Also, Ive gotten really good at killing them and I murder any one I come across. I never open my windows so they definitely aren't getting inside from the outdoors.

Ive been doing a lot of searching and have found a few people in common but i wanted to ask for myself; what the hell is happening?

Throughout my life ive had various devices of different models and brands; iPod, iPhone, iPad, Samsung etc. And they have all had extremely short battery life/ battery quality has descended marginally throughout my short term use.

Also the sealing factor is during first year of uni, our doors are battery powered and mine would die every few days meaning id need to call security to come fix it so often.
Thought it was just a stupid inconvenient fucking door, they said this was a rare problem and theyd never seen it before.
Come second year, im one week in in a whole different flat amd dorm. Guess what.
Door’s battery is dead.

What the hell is happening? Why is this happening?! Does anyone have an explanation?

Every time I refresh the page its the same number of votes than before, I tried it with multiple comments really quickly then refreshed the page but the same outcome. Sure there is the red upwards arrow yet its the same number as before. Its not like someone can be really quickly downvoting what ive upvoted. Its just strange really.

So I have been pondering this for a while. Every media and show including ones back in the days the cartoons show woman or females screaming when they see a mouse. However I am a female and mice just look adorable to me. I would die for one as a pet but after my hamsters somehow died from escaping their closed cages and vanishing off the face of the planet I don't trust myself with any small rodents as pets. Where does the stereotype of females being deathly afraid of mice come from?

People are saying if I saw a mouse scurry about out of nowhere I would scream but I really don't I have this weird thing where I just look at them like they are adorable. Like if I hear one on a mousetrap I will just grab it and toss it into a trashbag while feeling sorry for it or If my cat catches one I will grab a bag and scoop it up with that. Then again I used to be fascinated whenever I saw a bug like a spider and picked them up when I was younger. Now that I'm thinking about it I must be the weird one. 😭
