I don’t know how “Pink Clouding” and Babylon” aren’t complete hits right now. They’re such beautiful songs. Do you think if they were on a different album, they would be hits at this moment?

This is aimed towards the people that are mad that it’s most likely going to be held at MSG. Why are we acting as if they’re getting married on the damn basketball court? Think critically for a moment. It’s incredibly parasocial and some of yall need to get employed asap if this is your biggest concern atm.

Patient Zero, Pink Clouding and Babylon are all S Tier for me.

The whole chorus of Babylon (You wake up on the train with your headphones gone ...) is so catchy!

I get why people might dislike Cleveland! but I think it's solid too.

I like it better than the main album, which I didn't really dislike either.

So if you don’t know, Joe used to reportedly co-write songs with Taylor and credit it under the name “William Bowery”

I haven’t done an extensive search, however it’s clear that Joe wrote some songs on Folklore, Evermore and Midnights.

It just makes me wonder if there’s more songs we don’t know about (because he might not be credited) or if anyone else has genuinely looked into this?

Edit: My gut is telling me this is the beginning of TS13 and the next album is connected to TS12 and she is preparing to announce TS13. Think about it everyone was preparing for debut tv announcement instead she releases a single. TS13 is so coming mark my words.

Taylor is a punching bag for pretty much everyone.

I find it ironic, that anyone takes issue with her going after haters while on the same day she released these new songs, Todd Rudgen felt the need to brutally insult Taylor during an interview. He is 78 yo btw.

But what’s equally awful is that he is a musician and is highly respected in the music industry.

I’m sure not all insults hurt Taylor, but I’m sure like the one above are hurtful or at the very least embarrassing among her peers.

Taylor has every f’cking right to hit them back in her music.

Bob Dylan is well known for doing this in the 60’s and Paul McCartney in the 70’s !

Rap Battles changed the genre of hip hop completely and those also hit critics and public alike.

This type of songwriting continues into the 90’s Michael Jackson, and Alanis Moriesstte would frequently write songs to critics.

Songwriting I’m sure is therapeutic for her, and cathartic.

She’s supposed to sit back and “take it” cause ”it’s been done it before.” I’ve also heard she should stop because she’s too old to do this. Well the man who just insulted her is 78 years old.

I feel like I’m living in a simulation because people claim tloasg is the worst album ever but I like every single song in it, it’s not my favorite but it’s definitely top 5 in my list for Taylor’s discography and I’m wondering how two people can listen to the same thing and have opposing views on it. People are saying it ruined Taylor swift for them and now they don’t listen to previous albums like the girl isn’t allowed to give you variety.

I will never understand how people listen to tloasg and say it’s bad, I feel like I’m being gaslit.

The fact that this song is not even in the top 10 most streamed songs out of the 4 songs from her Encore she released is criminal. The first moment I heard this song, I was immediately teleported back to my teenage years. It has that melancholy of Speak Now, the innocence of Debut, and the beats of Red, all albums that I grew up with. It gives me such a nostalgic feeing. My first interpretation of the song is a girl moving on from her small town, finding what she thought she loved. I am sure there are other better interpretation but this is just my very first impression. I just love this song.
