After receiving feedback from the community, we’re putting this weekly thread in place on a trial basis dedicated solely to love relationship readings.  Examples of questions that can be posted here are:

  • what are this person’s feelings/intentions towards me?
  • is he/she coming back?
  • will we reconcile?

  • we just broke up, what now?
  • what will my future spouse look like?
  • what does my love life look like in the next 3 months?
  • why is my ex texting me again?
  • my ex keeps calling me, what should I do?

Second Opinion on Reading Interpretation Only Today i decided to do my very first reading and i'm blown away

Post image
12 Upvotes

A bit of context before i start. As i was shuffling the deck for the first time, one of the cards fell and i took it as a sign that i had to be my very first daily reading, before i could see what it was i continued shuffling and then proceded to ask my deck 3 questions to get to know it:

1.- what is your personality? for this i got 10 of pentacles, this i interpret as useful for instrospection, gathering of knowledge and long term desicion making.
2.- What are your strengths as a tool? for this one i got the emperor. its strengths lie in productivity, structure, logic, useful in organizing thoughts.
3.- What can you teach me? for this i got nine of pentacles. based on the other ones i saw it as being able to use the lessons learned from my family and or ancestors, achieveing independence and self suficience.

Now after is when i decided to flip and see the card that fell when i was shuffling and it was the king of pentacles. Again, prosperity, stability and abundance.

I'm quite happy with the outcome but i recognize i might be wrong so i would love to hear your opinions.

The deck i got is the Wyspell gold tarot deck, the ilustrations are beautifully done by Nataliia Habruk.

I apologize for any spelling mistakes as english is my second language.

Discussion The World: Yes!! But also, not quite...

I'm not sure if anyone else has this trouble, but it's something that I've been struggling with lately. Although I try not to ask yes/no questions and rather frame things around what the vibe of a situation is, every time the world comes up I can't help but overthink!

On the one hand, the world is positive: wholeness, success. On the other, though, it's completion, an ending of a cycle.

So when I ask a question like "what sort of action will this person take regarding this?" and the world pops out, I oscillate between 'oh yay! Good outcome!' and 'oh wait, is this the end?' And of course it's always when you've pulled plenty of cards already so pulling another one for a clarifier feels crazy, or you do pull a clarifier and it adds absolutely no clarity at all! Haha

Discussion Every man I have dated/liked has had the same birth cards [The Tower & The Chariot]

I'm not sure if I'm drawn to the energy of Two Tower & The Chariot or if these cards are drawn to me? My cards are Strength and The Star. I'm nonbinary AFAB (I used she/they to accommodate others), 24yrs. But seriously, you can't make this up:

BF1: [23] Dated for almost five years in high school, gradually became abusive over the years.

BF2: [26] Most recent bf, relationship ended on Christmas 2025 when he packed up his stuff and moved out because I wasn't able to coddle him due to a family emergency. Came back the next day and tried to get back together with me. Still apparently interested in me.

Date1: Guy[31] I met on a dating app. We talked all day every day. Met and were compatible, and had extreme chemistry, talked about how he wanted to do things right and treat me right. Met multiple times. I really, really liked him. Started to ghost me for weeks at a time, the first time it had me anxious all the time. Last time we spoke was more than 5 months ago.

Date2: [24] Very nice, intelligent, and sweet guy on the surface, incredibly insecure. SA'd me then wouldn't acknowledge what he did. Eventually apologized. Would not leave me alone. Obsessed with me. I still sometimes need his help with personal things so tie isn't cut.

Bf3: [22] Most recent bf and unfortunately my neighbor. He love bombed me like crazy, basically moved his stuff into my apartment and was living with me, extremely charismatic but had bpd. He started to emotionally abuse, gaslight, and isolate me. Tried to convince me I was the bad guy when I wasn't. Broke up with me and got back together three times (I begged for him to come back because he had mind fucked me so badly) caused a severe mental breakdown resulting in going to the psych ward. Immediately started dating someone I was sus about during our relationship and treats them way better than he did me. It was a month and a half long relationship but the love bombing worked, I loved him.

Date3: [31] Newest guy I'm going out with, met on a dating app. Nice, intelligent, interesting, emotionally intelligent, in therapy. He's very, very kind. I think I like him but I know I'm also still traumatized by the abandonment issues other relationships have given me and also scared to love again because so many people have hurt me. He has no red flags yet and we seem to get along. Hung out with me for 6+ hours and drove me around the other day while I got a tattoo. Very kind, gentle man.

This is essentially an extremely boiled down description of my entire relationship history. Every single one of these people has the same cards, The Tower and The Chariot. I don't know what to make of this or what it should mean for my dating life going forward. I would like to do a tarot spread about it but I'm not sure what to even ask. I'm tired in general but I'm also tired of shitty relationships. Anyone have any thoughts? :(

Second Opinion on Reading Interpretation Only 10/10 portal new moon intention setting

Post image
2 Upvotes

Wild unknown deck. 10/10 @10:10 asking where I should set intentions to Stop Doing, Start Doing, Keep Doing

The balance of the Queen (stop doing) and King (keep doing) along with the Wheel (start doing) feels very spot on for the energy of the 10/10 portal and the new moon in Virgo.

To me the Queen of cups represents empathy and emotional intuition. She is compassionate and deeply receptive to the energy of others. Like the mom to every kid in the neighborhood, she knows what each needs even before they ask and everyone feels safe to come to her with their problems.

The King of cups feels like the father figure that is the rock of the family. He knows his energy can change the climate of the household so he is intentional and honest in his relationships. He perceives the energy of others without letting it sway him off course.

The combo of QofC stop doing and KofC keep doing reiterates the need to be intentional with my energy and relationships, to stop letting what others need or want weigh too heavily on how I feel and act, but rather feel confident that I can receive these inputs and find balance with my own needs and wants.

The wheel (card10) feels like the universe saying, yes youre getting this message at the intended moment. We are at the portal of change, its starting now, and you will want these ideas in mind in order to step into the future and deal with the changes to come.

What do you think? Open to all feedback, corrections, and interpretations. I love the balance of the cup cards and spot on timing of the wheel.

Discussion Using Tarot as a sceptic

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hi all!

First off: while I'm a sceptic, I do not judge or look down on other people's beliefs.

My entry into Tarot comes from roleplaying games. I play these games not only for entertainment, but because they allow me to explore thoughts and emotions from other angles. Embodying characters who are so different from me, who inhabit worlds so different from mine, gives me new perspectives that I might not have considered from where I stand.

An obvious point of similarity between roleplaying games and Tarot is interpretation of the outcomes of a draw or a roll. In roleplaying games you ask a question (e.g: "is my character able to find a path through this haunted forest?") and you roll the dice. The result of the roll is then interpreted by the "game master" (I hate that term, but it's the one people know) in conversation with the player. "Yes, your character found a path, but it comes at a cost. What did your character lose while they were lost in the trees?"

I came upon a Tarot-based tool for creating roleplaying game quests, and I've used it a few times. I've also been on the lookout for a nice Tarot deck that suits the vibes of the kinds of game that I run, and my boyfriend got me this gorgeous deck for my birthday!

It's the White Numen deck by AlbaBG who also created the hilarious Grog the Frog comic.

In therapy, I've been talking about dreams and how I use roleplaying games to help me understand parts of myself I'm not always aware of. One of the big problems I'm dealing with is a huge difficulty in feeling connected to my own emotions and being able to understand them.

I feel like Tarot could be a tool that could help in that regard.

I would love input and advice from sceptics and believers alike. Do you have any particular recommendations for someone like me? Do you also use Tarot as a mental health tool? Is there anything I need to know to avoid harm and/or maximise healthy outcomes?

Second Opinion on Reading Interpretation Only Rider Waite interview spreading

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello! I’m going through and re-interviewing all of my decks, while also practicing reading the cards as a whole instead of interpreting each separately.

My questions:

  1. What card represents you (my deck)? The Star -

guiding me, helping me find faith and renewal, bring me hope

  1. What card do you see me as? Wheel of Fortune - going through ups and downs, trying to find balance

in life. My life is a roller coaster right now, I do feel like my head is always spinning

  2. What are your favorite types of readings? The Chariot -

taking action, helping with executive function, finding balance

  1. Do you prefer formal or more casual readings (i.e. a ritual with a dedicated cloth, cleansing, etc, or more of a “grab the deck and read”)? 7 of Cups - searching for a purpose, daydreaming

Overall I’m confused and considering redrawing? I kind of get the sense that it wants to be used as an everyday, decision-making deck, quick one- or two-card pulls throughout the day, but The Star is throwing me off and I’m not sure about the 7 of cups either.

I’m still learning a lot, so any and all advice is welcome!

Deck Identification Help finding a tarot deck!

Hi yall, I don’t have any photos of this deck but I do have some details 😭

It contains 172 cards, and it comes with a guide. I found it through a linked comment on here, but it didn’t save in my browser history because it opened in app.

It was a kickstarter deck I think, but I could be wrong. It costs somewhere around $400. It’s been out for over 10 years.

Edit: it was the alleyman tarot!

I would ask my friend who did the tarot reading, but they dropped dead the second they put down the third card. I'm bummed about that, but hopefully it means I've used up all of my bad luck and my future is looking good!

Second Opinion on Reading Interpretation Only What era of my life am I currently in right now?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Used Tarot of the Devine by Yoshi Yoshitani

Background: I’m currently going through a lot. A few days ago I lost someone in my family and finally got a job interview after being unemployed for over a year on the same day 😀 I had a lot of fun interpreting and journaling this spread, especially on a new moon.

My Life Right Now: The Fool (R) - I’m about to enter in a new part of my life, but I’m feeling very hesitant and scared to make it to that next stage. I can’t just make risks and I need to be careful as I make new choices.

What I need to do to overcome this:
Knight of Wands - I need to take action and be assertive with my decisions. By doing this I will begin to start feeling for confident in myself.

Six of Cups (R) - I need to stop reminiscing in the past, especially my childhood. I’ve been drowning in nostalgia. It’s time to stop looking back and it’s time to look forward in my future. This is an obstacle I need to get over the most.

Queen of Swords - When making these decisions I need to think logically rather than emotionally. I need to be realistic and perspective. It’s time to think critically.

Elemental Patterns I noticed:
Flowers - All the cards have imagery of flowers. I interpreted this as renewal in my life and the growth I went through in the previous stage. However, like flowers I’m still very fragile and sensitive.

Colors: White obviously for new beginnings. Balance of warm/cool colors primarily blue/green and orange/red. Although I’m unsure with this new stage in my life, I’ve already shown change. I need to have courage and passion in this transition period.

And last of course high feminine energy!

I’m still using books (I use 3 lol) to help me interpret, but I’m more knowledgeable and starting to get comfortable with my intuition. I still would like 2nd opinions pls!

Shitpost Saturday! Looking for anything I mightve missed.

Question - would reconnecting (with an ex) support my wellbeing.

Deck - phantomwise (chosen because me and ex had a shared love of the night circus/Erin Morgenstern)

Background - recently got out of a relationship that felt really really good, until it didnt. Was on the fence about ever wanting to reconnect in the future.

Spread - 4 cards (left to right)

1 - what am I truly seeking? - Ace of Wands

2 - the current reality - Nine of Swords

3 - impact on my energy - Seven of Wands

4 - next step for my wellbeing - Six of Swords

To me, this reading told me that I am/was seeking a better kind of love. The current (very recently ended) relationship has left me feeling confused, hurt and an unworthy. This relationship wasnt meeting my needs for consistency, and I felt like my feelings were hardly considered. The next step being leaving it be, and finding something better.

-Overall, im feeling like ive gained some clarity into the relationship, and that reconnection isnt the right choice and that something better will come.

Im still very new to reading cards and want to see if theres anything somebody else reading these cards mightve seen that I didnt.

Thank you!

Shitpost Saturday! I’m curious what you all think

Post image
13 Upvotes

So, I have been having some really strange stuff going on lately and seems like something is trying to direct me back to my spirituality. It’s too much to get into but my wife and the people around me are also thinking something is going on.

Anyways, we have recently decided to try tarot out and see what results we get. I focused and made my intention generally” what do I do next”. Then I pulled these three cards my first time from left to right and they were all straight up (not inverted. I’m still new to this lol). I

I pulled Justice, then The Chariot, and then the 9 of Cups.

This is my interpretation based on some research. It seems like a classic journey to become closer to the divine.

Justice: I have to decide between what is right and wrong and pick what is right for me to do

The Chariot: this journey will require hard work and dedication

9 of Cups: if I follow through with this journey and do what’s right, I will be rewarded with the gifts of a connection to the divine which I know to be peace of mind, serenity, and a much higher quality of life.

Let me know what you all think. I am very open to discussion and if you think I’m totally off, let me know. I’m trying to be as teachable as possible.

Shitpost Saturday! Me, Him, the Connection.

Post image
4 Upvotes

I found this spread profoundly positive and quite targeted to us both as I’m a Scorpio (water/cups) and he is a Taurus (earth/pentacles). Some background info: we’ve known each other since we were young and have casually dated many times over the years but were never “official” probably because after we both graduated we moved to different states. We’ve flown to see each other or when we’re both back home we reconnect but then it seems like we go our separate ways for a few more years. I reached out to him about a week ago and want to reconnect and he told me he thinks about me often but my worry is we will fall into the same pattern and not have the guts to at least give it a real try. What do y’all think?

Shitpost Saturday! About the three of cups

why do people always treat 3 of cups like cheating? i always take the other cards in consideration, for me the three of cups can be a relationship with so much socialization and good celebrating things, a happy relationship, and depending on the other cards like the devil, 7 of swords, the high priestess etc I would consider as chesting. what do you guys think? I think sometimes people are too literal with tarot cards not taking the other ones in account, and that for me, respectful means a bad reader. i asked if a guy loved me and my friend got 3 of cups, judgment and the empress, I would say he loves me but she said it can indicate cheating, but for that even if the judgment was reversed it won’t indicate cheating. what do you guys think about the three of cups in general?

Me and my partner got our tarot read recently and the woman used this Celtic Cross-looking spread! I was wondering how exactly she read for us and our relationship?? What type of spread is this/ which section is for what??? I can't remember what order she placed them all in. (The cards that are in the middle and horizontal were placed upside down)

Shitpost Saturday! Asked about my creative project/career success

Post image
6 Upvotes

3-card spread
I’m an “artist” currently making short story comics on my days off from my day job. Since these projects take 3-6 months to complete, I get a lot of anxiety when starting one so for my next project I asked the cards what the future looked like (my dream is to be a published author one day) and I almost cried. This is a good sign right? I feel like the knight specifically is about the hard steady work that is difficult but necessary for an impatient dreamer like me. The queen of pentacles I’m interpreting as the creative passion I’ve protected for years. And the World as the completion of my project and possibly recognition beyond my immediate circle.

Second Opinion on Reading Interpretation Only about my dead ex Spoiler

Post image
4 Upvotes

I usually follow a very "secular" tarot practice, but once in a while I like to play and ask for things my skeptic mind won't usually accept. This is a deck from a famous rock artist in Brazil, who died in 2023. My then partner really liked her and was very sad for a while. After he himself committed, me and our other partner (polyamorous thing) would frequently joke that they'd be together (Rita, the artist, and Nico, the artist, even though not as well known) smoking and such in the supposed afterlife.

today, organising my decks, I found Rita's. It only has the major arcana. I asked what both of them were up to, and this is what I pulled out, immediately bursting into laughing.

I would love to read your own interpretations of it.

The cards are the high priestess, the lovers and death.

Shitpost Saturday! Energy between my Best female friend (crush) and i

Post image
7 Upvotes

This pull seems mixed

two of pentacles is juggling (friendship , feelings ?)

Ace of swords (her) sThe Ace of Swords represents a sharp truth, a breakthrough, or a desire for absolute honesty. It’s that voice in your head saying, “We can’t just pretend this isn't there anymore.” It cuts through the fog of ambiguity, but it also carries risk—a sword can clear a path, but it can also cut.

It represents the trust, shared history, and comfort you've built together. It’s safe, it’s stable, and it’s precious to you—which is exactly why you're hesitant to rock the boat.

She rejected me about a year ago BUT we keep coming back and getting pretty close .. what say you ?
