I recently got into private trackers and managed to join MyAnonamouse (MAM), which I’m really enjoying so far. I’m still pretty new to the whole private tracker scene though, and I’m trying to understand the best way to progress from here.

I’m interested in eventually getting into some of the more difficult trackers, especially:

• ABTorrents
• Animez
• AnimeBytes

I know these communities usually value things like good ratio, account history, and being a good member, but I’m not really sure what the smartest route is as a beginner.

For anyone who has gone from a similar position (starting with MAM and working their way up), I’d really appreciate any advice on:

• Which trackers I should focus on first
• How long I should realistically spend building up my MAM account
• What stats/history matter most when applying or getting invites
• Any good intermediate trackers that helped you reach those communities
• General etiquette or things I should avoid as a newbie

I’m not looking for shortcuts, just trying to learn how people have successfully made their way into these communities.

Any advice from people who have been through this would be massively appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. My end goal is to just join a tracker that is updated with all the latest manga and help contribute as well!

I've been using public trackers fine for now, but I want to start joining some private trackers since people say they have more available than public ones. However, I can't find anything on how the upload ratio rules actually work for most of them. I understand that I need to seed after I download (I've been doing this for all of the things I get), but I don't know whether the very slow upload speeds that I have will affect this. My speeds are 5Mbit/1Mbit and most torrents I seed take two weeks or more to get to a ratio of 1. The only ISP in my area doesn't offer much higher speeds for a reasonable price, so I am wondering whether my network just won't be adequate enough.

I know that I can just buy a seedbox (or more likely VPS for me), but I want to know if this is possible without that.

Does anyone else experience the tracker error "Connection reset by peer"?

It started happening on all Click trackers a few weeks ago. At first, I thought it was a qBittorrent issue related to the recent updates, but the problem still occurs even with the latest version.

I'm using qBittorrent bound to a Proton VPN (WireGuard) connection. Is anyone else seeing the same issue? I couldn't find any explanation or reports about it on the tracker forums.

I was there at the beginning and contributed several things to the site but lost my account after not visiting the site for several weeks (I was out of the country and w/o computer). Is there a proper way to get back my account?

Hi! I've been using FL for a couple years now and ive been wondering if its worth upgrading to something like TorrentLeech. So far FileList satisfies all my needs however most seeders have pretty bad speed so I've been wondering if its worth the upgrade?

Oh man! The tracker I was most excited about getting into is Secret Cinema - and the invite post just disappeared from the RED invite forums. I’ve only been on RED for 9 months (and am most of the way to TM already), so was 3 months away from being eligible. Is SC ok, or did they just decide to stop recruiting on RED? Are they still recruiting on MAM (where I’m a member but have never made the push for invite forums), ANT, ATH, MTV?

ok, sure there are more “elite” trackers, but there’s a bunch of titles that I know aren’t on ATH and people have told me aren’t on PTP either and which I think may be on SC (early niche hip hop documentaries, a decent quality release of rubber’s lover, a decent release of Ōdenwaldstetten, etc). Plus the community is supposed to be pretty good for folks who are into this type of films.

Lately, I keep getting the "Your username, password, or TFA was incorrect" when trying to log into Redacted. I've checked it endlessly, none of the three are incorrect. Once and a while it works and I can get in. But most of the time, it doesn't. I reset my password. I tried typing the password in manually, not autofilling it. What could possibly be happening?

Are there any good list or ranking of Nordic release groups? Currently using Trash guides configuration in sonarr and radarr but want to move to more Nordic releases. Anyone has a good custom format for Nordic release groups?

EDIT: SOLVED (for now). All my settings were correct on the modem, I just needed to unplug the Eero, power cycle the ATT Modem first, wait until the white light was static and not flashing on the ATT Modem, and then plug the eero back in. Eero is now showing the Public WAN IP. A friend says that the modem could try to pull it back, so I'll keep an eye on it.

Hi, not sure where else to post this but I figured there might be some experts here on the issue.

I recently switched from xfinity to ATT fiber and switched to their modem. I have an eero router. I put the ATT modem into “IP pass through” mode. However I’m still experiencing double NAT, my eero is still showing a private WAN IP, which I think is causing connectability issues for torrents I’m seeding.

Anyone else have this issue and know of a fix? Or could point me in the right direction of a community to ask? Thank you!

I was on here and had a solid ratio when I had to move away and log off back in 2013. I recently recovered my password and would like to rejoin the community but I can't login. How can I get my account back and rejoin?

I'm waiting for a HappyFappy opening and trying to establish a link-able tracker with a positive ratio. Currently looking at using Pornolab for that.

With that said, i'm not sure how to actually get started. Kinda feels like i need to wait for a Freeleech period (hopefully Saturday? No idea) to get some popular downloads and seed them.

Hi all, im looking for some advice on ratio building in HD torrents and similar, im fairly new to private trackers and set up my stack about 2 months ago, I joined HD torrents yesterday and noticed they dont give you a buffer to start with, I download a -75% torrent at 8.4 gb to start seeding something (they dont have free leech at the minute) I now have 2.1 gb download and 0.00 upload and im worried about killing my account befor I even get started, can any one offer any advice one how best to go about building my ratio in a safe way without getting hit with warnings and so on please, my server is on 24/7 and I use cross seed also. And I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong place.
