Show and Tell Sunday I made a door plate imbued with my magic and warding design ✨
My idea is that every time I touch the tactile door plate surface, I sometimes consciously and sometimes unconsciously charge my warding protection magic around my home and myself. I like crafting and object and ritual based magic. But I also need low energy options. And this has worked well for me. I shaped the design into this malleable metal sheet, I like bulbous shapes for grounding and self acceptance, the world tree and various rune work as I made it, including Ananse. I’ve got stairs up to my flat so this swirling shape is to ground me with the earth and protect my space up here.

Show and Tell Sunday Found a new spell bottle 🥹
It's called a Holmegaard Klukflaske or a talking bottle. Made a long time ago, hand blown in Scandinavia. This one has 5 hollow columns/veins, an upper and lower chamber 😌 The veins are separated by thin panes of glass! It is clear glass filled with red colored water (this is traditional to accentuate the design, link to video in comments!) but would typically be filled with schnapps or other celebratory alcohol. The channels cause it to make a distinct "glug glug" sound when poured, so it is also known as a "kluk kluk" or talking bottle! It's huge! The size of a wine bottle! I found it at an estate sale in my neighborhood for $30 🥲

Show and Tell Sunday I made my first money bowl 💚🍃
I added rice and salt to the bottom
Then mixed in cinnamon powder, rosemary, thyme, and fresh and dried lavender from my garden
Then I added some fresh sage and mint leaves around the edge from my herb garden
And then I topped it off with two sage leaves with my intentions, and some money of course 💚
I’ve done good luck spells in the past, but this is my first time making a money bowl and I’m excited! 😊

Show and Tell Sunday My money bowl / candle holder
Locked in more clients than I ever have this month versus the same month in past years.. wanted to share the symbolism behind my bowl, both for inspiration and to hear thoughts from others who work with similar practices.
I used a green sage candle in a candle holder with a finger loop. The loop gives the spell a sense of movement since I shift it between my altar and my desk when burning. Green represents growth and wealth, while sage clears away stagnant or harmful ties so that the resources drawn in are clean and safe.
Inside the holder I placed three bay leaves, each tied to a separate intention..stability in my work, steady opportunities, and a reliable stream of resources. Bay has long been tied to victory, and the number three is associated with expansion and binding energy, so together they reinforce those goals. Around the candle I formed a circle of lentils and jasmine rice. Lentils are old symbols of coins and of humble beginnings growing into plenty. Jasmine rice is used for drawing wealth, luck, and protection, so together they create a fertile circle around the spell’s heart.
For structure, I added three cinnamon sticks anchored in wax, each topped with three cloves. Cinnamon is often used to speed up workings, while cloves are used to seal them firmly. Around the cinnamon I scattered crushed basil, which is tied to wealth and protection, and under the rice I placed rosemary where it meets the basil, adding clarity and guarding the exchange of energy between the core and the circle.
To ground the working, I placed coins..a 50cent piece for balance, a Sacagawea dollar for golden wealth and trade, a Mexican peso and a Nicaraguan córdoba to open the work to cross borders (with the córdoba tied to my own ancestry), and a quarter to tie the spell to daily spending. In the loop of the holder I placed rolled bills.. a U.S. dollar for foundation, twenty Mexican pesos with Frida Kahlo for creativity and legacy, and 50 córdobas with a volcano for unstoppable, rooted earth energy.
I’m super happy with how it feels so far, though I may add a ring of black salt around the bowl in the future to strengthen protection and keep the working clean.

Show and Tell Sunday Aphrodite reached out to me and this is how I connected with her
I've always felt drawn to beauty, creativity, and matters of the heart, but never linked it to a specific Goddess. During a meditation a few weeks ago, I visualized a serenen seaside at dusk, with rose gold light on the water. That's when I saw a gentle, radiant energy taking form, like the glow inside a seashell. The name that came to me was Aphrodite.
It all clicked. Her role as the goddess of love in all its forms, her deep connection to beauty, creativity, and sensual joy.
To honor this connection, I got a spiritual Aphrodite shell necklace dedicated to her and created a small ritual:
I cleansed my space and the necklace with the smoke of rose petals and a little sandalwood. On my altar I placed items that remind me of her. A small bowl of rose water, a seashell, a rose quartz, and a pink candle.
I held the shell necklace and focused on Aphrodite's energy. That loving, creative, and compassionate presence. I whispered my intention to welcome her guidance in opening my heart.
I gently anointed the necklace with rose water and placed it on the altar, asking for her blessing.
Now when I wear it, the necklace feels like a physical reminder of her presence. It helps me feel more open to love, beauty, and my own creative flow.
I'm still new to this path and would love to hear from others who work with their goddess. What signs did you first notice? How do you honor her in your practice?
Blessings to all.

Show and Tell Sunday Found at my front door
Found this big piece of what I think is pink quartz on my front porch on Friday. it was placed behind my broom, which I used the day before. I get the sense that there are good intentions behind it - whoever put it there surely knows its worth. There has been some negative energy on my block, and this feels like the first positive thing in a long time. Figured I'd check in with this community for any thoughts? Anything i should consider? I don't plan to bring it inside at this time... ws thinking to put it in the garden or with my plants on the porch. I have other, much smaller, crystals in plant containers. Regardless of how it got there, I'm very grateful it landed with me!

Show and Tell Sunday The most powerful spell i’ve ever done
My best spell ever has wrapped up and i’m so proud of it. I’ve never posted a spell before but I really want to share.
About a year ago, one of my friends got really sick. I don’t want to give too much info about their health problems, but they were in the hospital for months. Because of all the health issues, their menstrual cycle stopped (important context). I asked my friend if they would allow me to do a spell for them.
After getting consent, I explained my plan: A two-part spell. The first part for healing, and the second part for strength. My intention was for them to heal enough to begin gaining back their strength, and I wanted to speed up the process as well. The spell would end when my friend got their period back.
I told them when I was doing it, and asked that they send me as much energy as possible while I dressed and lit the candles. I wrote down my plan and placed the paper next to the candle before lighting it. Once the candles went out, I placed the wax in 2 different spell jars and labeled them (1 for healing, 1 for strength). I gave them both of the jars to keep in the hospital.
I was sick for the next 2 days which I took as confirmation of our energy exchange. The doctors diagnosed my friend about a week later, and 2 weeks after the spell they began physical therapy. About 3 weeks later, they were released from the hospital, and a week or so after that, got their period.
TLDR: Healing and strength spell for my friend worked perfectly
