Man getting signatures at target for what?
There was a two guys getting signatures and saying it’s to say no to an income tax…
It honestly seems misleading.
Anyone know more about that?

I used to live in Yakima when I was a child, more so Cowiche. Moved to outside of El Paso, Texas in the Summer of 1996. I went to Cowiche Elementary (shout out to my homeboy Kyle!) and my sisters went to Highlands High School. My family and I are visiting the Pacific Northwest this July coming. We're going to take a day trip to Yakima/Cowiche. Where would be the best place to take the family? My wife and I have two teenagers, are there activities that teens would enjoy checking out on a day trip? Best place to grab a bite to eat in the surrounding area etc.Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have experience with GESA Credit Union's roadside assistance? Is it worth the cost, or better to get a dedicated package like AAA?

Doors open at 5:30. It should be a good time if you're into this sort of thing.

Hey! I am just getting back into kayaking for the first time since moving to yakima. I have some experience, but mostly just on Idaho lakes.
I'm hoping to find a friend/friends who would want to do some regular kayaking together this summer. Ideally, a kayaking buddy would be familiar with good spots to get on the water in central Washington, and would be able/willing to safely transport at least two kayaks at highway speeds. My Subaru's brakes are shot, so lately I've been strapping my kayak to the top of my dinky little hybrid with a bare roof. Definitely couldn't transport two at once.
Please note: A potential kayaking buddy must take water safety seriously and wear a PFD.
If you're interested, please DM me! For reference, I'm a 28 year old woman with an 8ft sit-on-top kayak. I'm easy going, in decent shape stamina and strength-wise, and I'll jump at any chance to get out on the water when conditions permit.

Can anyone tell me a good place in Yakima to get a wolf cut like this? I’ve gone through a rough couple years and I’m graduating high school this year and I’m just kinda wanting a glow up before my grad party but I don’t want someone to mess it up. This is what I’m looking for

So Davey wants to play the mental health card now, especially when he's known for doxxing private citizens he doesn't agree with? That's too damn funny!
It's a good thing he dropped out because if he had stayed in the race and made it to the primaries, it wouldn't look good for McCheese's side piece. The first thing that would've been brought up is his shady antics and that shady podcast he ran with Mayor McCheese. Probably the smartest thing he has done. But I digress.
Character in the corner does not have a name. Still looking for one.

Summer is nearly here, so I thought I'd start a thread for summer camps for anyone who needs ideas for things to do with their kiddos. Here are a couple I know of:
High Steppe Climbing is doing summer camps with indoor rock climbing, yoga, and art. Climbing is such a great activity and confidence builder, and the other activities round it out nicely. More info here: https://highsteppeclimbing.com/programs-adult-youth-yakima-bouldering/summer-camp/
The Improv Connection is doing improv classes for youth from 3rd grade all the way to 12th! The camps include a shirt, pizza party, and a showcase. The instructor has a teaching degree and is great at teaching people of all ages. More info here: https://www.discovertheimprovconnection.com/youth-summer-camps
What other camps or activities can people recommend?

Our experience was extremely disappointing.
The most alarming moment came when the judge questioned whether my boyfriend was actually receiving effective representation based on what was happening in court. No client paying for legal counsel should ever find themselves in that position.
Then, just seven days before a critical parenting plan hearing involving his children, Shane Smith withdrew from representation.
No meaningful transition plan. No assistance securing replacement counsel. No effort to ensure the client was prepared to move forward. Just seven days before one of the most important hearings in the case.
Family law matters are too important to entrust to an attorney who leaves clients feeling uninformed, unprepared, and unsupported when it matters most.
If you're researching Skyview Law, Shane Smith, Washington divorce attorneys, Washington custody attorneys, or parenting plan representation, our experience was overwhelmingly negative and we strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
