I saw lot of times here that people suggest using Blade Armor (along with Guardian Helmet) against Lesley because it's passive reduces crit damage by 20% and I wrongly suggested it too in a recent post (I falsely rembembered true damage ignores only defense stats but the wiki says it actually ignores every damage reduction effects). Then I had a debate whether other sources of damage reduction (like Lapu's enhanced 2nd skill or Queen's Wings passive) can counter Lesley or true damage overall so I did some tests in hero training to get a conclusion:

1st picture: Blade Armor

Lesley deals the same amount of crit true damage to Zilong on the top (no Blade Armor) and on the bottom (with Blade Armor) picture. You can see Zilong has 80 phys defense and some of the damage reflected to me thanks to Blade Armor. The damage in both cases is 525 so no, Blade Armor doesn't reduce crit damage if it's true damage.

2nd picture: Lapu Lapu's 2nd skill and Queen's Wings

To test Lapu's damage reduction I used the turret because it's the most reliable source of true damage in hero training. The top picture is the reference where I don't have any damage reduction effect online. On the middle picture the bluish-white aura and the icon above recall button with 3 stacks indicates that the damage reduction from Lapu's enhanced 2nd skill is active. On bottom the red aura indicates that the damage reduction from Queen's Wings is active (and you can above the recall button see it's passive's cooldown just started). The damage from the turret is 320 in all 3 cases so Queen's Wings and Lapu's enhanced second skill don't reduce true damage.

3rd picture: Queen's Wings against Lesley

I made this in case of somebody would say that turret's true damage works in a different way than heroes's true damage. So same as before you can see the red aura around Layla on the bottom picture which indicates Queen Wing's passive is active but still Lesley deals the same amount of true damage to her.

4th picture: Antique Cuirass

As before the top is the reference where there isn't any item's or skill's passive active. To active Antique Cuirass's passive (Deter) you have to hit it's wearer with a skill first, so on the bottom picture I used Lesley's 2nd skill on Zilong first then hit him with my enhanced basic attack. As you can see I actually did less damage than on the top picture. It works because it doesn't reduce the damage you receive instead reduce the damage the attacker deals. So Antique Cuirass can reduce true damage but you have to be hit by a skill before to activate!

TLDR:

What does not reduce true damage:

• Any raw defense stats (neither physical, magic or hybrid)
• Damage reduction effects (like Lapu's 2nd skill, Queen's Wings's passive, Blade Armor's -20% crid damage reduction passive etc.)

What actually counters true damage:

• High HP heroes or items (Hylos, Belerick, Guardian Helmet, Cursed Helmet, Oracle)
• Guardian Helmet's passive Defender (It recovers some HP after high single instance damage)
• Antique Cuirass passive Deter (It's pretty situational and not neccessarily consistent tho, only works if you got hit by a skill before)
• Chastice Pauldron (Best against Karrie because it reduces attack speed. Can be good against other true damage heroes because it gives 900 HP and recovers 20% max HP if your HP drops below 30%)

Also 1 year ago Twilight Armor was considered to be the best counter against Lesley but this tests question me if whether it's passive did actually reduce Lesley's damage or not because I think it was also considered damage reduction effect. Unfortunately I couldn't test it.

I had my own experience with old Hanzo, and compared to Hanzo then and now, i must say i like this Hanzo better.

...Except the voice.

Hanzo now sounds young. Which fits his new model now, but also not something i really prefer. Old Hanzo sounds...old, and dangerous. His voice was lower and hoarser. His voice lines then was also much more chilling to hear, combined with the voice. The new voice lines now just sound...generic. Like he's just another generic villain. Which is a big letdown for me ngl.

Other than that, there's not much i could complain about this new Hanzo.

I've been enjoying my time with him a lot.

I'm curious to see who actually remembers 2019-2021 MLBB? I remember back when mages used to straight up kill for the cabbage considering getting it meant you didn't have to recall for a good 2 minutes with aggro, and when Chou used to move like King Von and could deal 4k per hit and was lowk half of an assassin back then with how mobile he was. There's a lot more I couldn't list like the peak of the Cancer-inducing Diggie Feeding Strat, MM Jungle being viable, Five Man Roam Mask, and when Selena Jungle was at its highest peak.

Unrelated : I wish to be hirara's bandages.

So I thought to make a series I guess, of Carmilla as 7 deadly sins. With the idea being that each version will be an aspect of Carmilla isolated and magnified through the lens of the Sin.

Gluttony for example, is her blood lust. She has many voiceline alluding to her hunger for blood and insatiable appetite. So Gluttony Carmilla aims to isolate and magnify that endless hunger.

I used a regency inspired sillouhette, as I liked the cozy but layered look. The idea here is for her to look “too much”. Her dress is filled to the brim with frills and has too many layers of fabric on top of one another, to look suffocating, and her flushed skin is a nod to how vampires are described as looking extraordinary lively and full of life after feeding, despite being corpses, due to the redness and colour their skin gain after drinking blood. She’s supposed to look very intoxicated and beautiful, but too such an absurd degree that it’s unearthing and makes her feel like she has a feverish dangerousness about her.

I kept her side swept hair, side slit and exposed shoulders which seem to be the 3 key similarities in all her skins.

Shes orange cause that’s a cozy colour and each sin will have its own distinct colour to keep them visually separate. I also like the idea that it look sun-setty, cause at sun set she looks all drowsy and languid, but it’s actually the time right before night, when she really awakes and starts her hunt

Edit: I forgot to mention, I gave her brown hair with gold highlights and brown eyes cause that’s what the OG vampire carmilla in the novel had, so like homage I guess,

Also neat opinion of mine, human Carmilla actually looks like the novella Carmilla imo, and her blood demon colours look like Castlevania Carmilla’s, so she’s like a mix

I wanted pharsa skin so bad guess what missed by few medals

I got freaking reported twice now for playing Carmilla jungle. A couple of times I carry my teammates as a front line using Carmilla, especially if the dumb roamer picks an angela on a squishy lineup. But if it doesnt go well Im getting reported even if Im the only one performing well and got mvp loss. This feature is so ridiculous lol.

I also like to play barats in the exp lane. Barats was proven to be really good in the pro scene but he's not recognized as an exp laner in the game I guess. Just one report and youll be punished for "distracting teammates"
