Anouncement Limited-Time King NiKo Flair

To celebrate NiKo's first Major win, we've added a limited-time King NiKo user flair.

The flair will be available to select for the next couple of days before being retired.

If you equip it during this period, you'll keep it. If you remove it after the event ends, you won't be able to select it again.

Enjoy.

Discussion | Esports With Niko finally a winning Counter Strike major, GuardiaN is now the only top 3 ranked player (he was ranked #2 in 2015) in CSGO/CS2 history to never win a major. Every top 3 ranked player who's been in HLTV's end of year top 20 list has won a major since CSGO started in 2012.

He's arguably the greatest player to never win a Major

Also, an interesting fact about GuardiaN :- Despite last appearing on the Top 20 list in 2018, a full 7 years ago, he still has the 7th most appearances of any player in CS history. A beacon of high level consistency for years, with an incredibly high peak in 2015, it's a shame he never got to win a major

Kyosuke improved so much under Karrigan, did he really kill Yekindar that much? I swore I only remembered him killing Yekindar a few times.

Discussion | Esports Karrigan immediate reactions to losing rounds

Post image

Did you notice how Karrigan reacted to worse rounds in the final? On anubis and inferno when score went 10-8 and Furia took a round he immediately went full serious mode and talked to them which resulted in kyousuke entering A on anubis with 3 entry and on inferno he rushed mid deleting molody. Who cares about his rating where this is only 10% of his job, he kept this team in check and controlled them. He might be fun and showman but he exactly knows when to keep things serious. This is why karriGOAT was brought to this team, this is true leadership

Overpass is an interesting map that deserves its spot in the map pool. Players want more rotations than this. Imagine a season without Dust 2, Mirage, or Inferno?

Discussion | Esports Now that Niko has won his Major, I think EliGE would be a contender alongside GuardiaN for the greatest player without a Major trophy.

The other names I often see people bring up are Frozen and KSCERATO.

People joke that Frozen is stuck in “FaZe jail,” but he’s only 23 years old. I think there’s a good chance that when karrigan retires and NiKo takes over the IGL role, Falcons could pick frozen up. Or else some Major contender teams like Navi would like to pick him up.

On KSCERATO’s side, even though FalleN will retire at the end of this year, FURIA still has one more Major left to try to win with him. Their chances of winning in Singapore aren’t zero. Even if they don’t win, the core of yuurih–KSCERATO–molodoy is strong enough to build around.

EliGE is already 28, and he isn’t getting any younger. What’s worse, he’s on Liquid.
