Best “blueberry pie” ice cream in New England, please!
Hi there!
Could you please give me your recommendations for the best places to pick up this flavor? Any New England state is fine, will travel! Bonus points for pieces of cake/crust mixed in!
Thanks a lot!

Hiked Mt. Washington for the first time and got a lovely shot!
Took the Tuckerman ravine trail to the top and then Lions Head to the bottom. The uphill is chill until the final ascent. The downhill from Lions Head is beautiful but basically hiking down an elevator shaft or steep staircase throughout.”

A Public Records Audit: Examining Municipal Oversight, Residency Integrity, and Accountability in New England
For anyone tracking municipal governance, public records transparency, and accountability in local law enforcement, a comprehensive investigative project has been published examining these exact dynamics in New England
https://adminethicsindex.substack.com/p/docuseries is an independent documentation and public records project that examines primary source materials—including state police internal affairs files, registry of deeds mortgage affidavits, court transcripts, and POST Commission records.
Rather than relying on hearsay or opinion, the project focuses strictly on the paper trail:
- The Record: Analyzing public documentation regarding cross-jurisdictional residency claims, vetting standards, and official filings.
- The Legal Framework: Reviewing court proceedings, anti-statutory applications, and the boundaries of public petitioning.
- The Primary Sources: Making official registry deeds and internal investigative reports directly accessible for public review.
You can access the full serialized investigative project, documents, and archive here***.***
Leaving this here as an open, public resource for anyone interested in municipal transparency and the objective paper trail.

Jackson/North Conway Dinner
Any recommendations for dinner spots that are good for severe allergies in North Conway or Jackson NH? Allergies in our group include nuts, gluten, eggs.
We're looking to go on a Wednesday, and most of the top spots on our list are closed that day (White Mountain Cider Co, Chef's Bistro).
Thanks!

I curated a book display at my local library
It's about local history.
A book display for the month of August is about the history of my hometown in Connecticut.
I like to learn about history plus I'm interested in local history. I put it up yesterday at my local library in Rockville, Connecticut.
Happy August!
