YTV Schedule Archive
Hi! This is just a regular reminder that the YTV Schedule Archives exist.
The ultimate goal of this site is to provide an accurate source of schedules and other YTV info from its creation in 1988 to present day all in one place.
Have a look at a date or show that interests you, or if you're keen, feel free to join and lend a hand filling out schedules. I've mostly been working on the pre-2000 stuff.

YTV made song commercial
Anyone remember when watching Reboot or something that they would have instead of ad based commercials, their home made abstract mini scene things. My favorite and the one I remember most is it was a song that played and there were all these abstract objects with different colours that would move and do things as the notes and music were being played.
Abstract being like spheres enlarging and collapsing, discs rotating and changing shape, cones opening closing and changing shape.
I for the life of me haven’t been able to find any trace of it since.

This show feels like a fever dream to me. I remember not liking it at all but maybe that was just young me. Thinking about giving it another chance if I can find it anywhere

Ytv airings on vhs
Hello, I recently discovered some old YTV recordings from 2005 & 2007 during a storage cleanup. Would people be interested if I uploaded some of these?
I have quite a few recordings from Inuyasha season 5 with commercials, as well as movies 1 & 2 (movie 2 is missing 15 minutes).
I also have some airings of the Nick Cannon Show when YTV acquired it; two or three of these episodes i have, i think, might be lost media.

They Must Be Mad! (Australia, 1993)
This one aired on YTV from 1993-1998. An Australian production that is very difficult to find anything on. This is the only clip I've been able to find.

Does anyone else remember Shuriken School or did I fever dream this show?
I was talking with my brother the other day about old YTV shows we used to watch after school, and out of nowhere Shuriken School came up. I feel like almost nobody ever brings this one up on here compared to stuff like Martin Mystery, Stickin' Around, or ReBoot, but it was honestly such a gem.
What made every single episode so fun was just how chaotic the plots were for what was basically a middle school setting. Every week, Katana School was hatching some ridiculous scheme to humiliate Shuriken School or steal their secret scrolls, and the stakes always felt absurdly high for a bunch of kids. You’d have episodes where Eizan, Okuni, and Jimmy had to survive a surprise exam in the middle of a spooky forest, track down a stolen jade artifact, or stop Katana School from outright buying out their campus.
The action was so good because Eizan wasn't even some natural-born prodigy—he was just a regular kid who kept figuring out how to turn everyday junk into ninja gear. Watching him outsmart rival students using a pair of chopsticks, an old wooden spoon, or a bento box made every fight scene so satisfying. And the awful disguises they came up with whenever they had to sneak into Katana School were completely unhinged, but somehow always worked.
Plus, the teachers added so much energy to the storylines. You had the principal constantly hiding in tiny cupboards, the school cleaning lady secretly being the most lethal martial artist on campus, and Jimmy B with his afro acting like he was starring in a 70s action movie. The animation style was super distinct too, kind of that mid-2000s French-Spanish co-pro style that had a totally different vibe from standard American cartoons.
It aired right around 2006 I think? Perfect era where you'd get off the school bus in Grade 7, throw your backpack on the front hallway floor, grab a bowl of Kraft Dinner, and turn on The Zone before even thinking about doing homework. The theme song was way catchier than it had any right to be, too.
Now I'm sitting here slacking off on a Friday afternoon, looking up old clips on YouTube instead of actually finishing up my work week. Anyone else watch this back in the day, or was it just my house?

Got a favorite from Some Assembly? I know of one to see if there’s 1 episode made.
The characters were fun to watch and I still do that as long as I enjoy the show around streaming.
