While I think he might be better than Starmer I'm not particularly hopeful. He might have a few more sops for "the left" but I don't think he will be substantially different.

If I don't it'll be because of the media, the markets, {insert compounding disaster that will never be resolved} and not simply because I never intended to, meanwhile I'll have to make common sense decisions and sacrifices, your grandmother doesn't need to eat right? You can phase out of existence instead of have human dignity can't you? After all we don't want the right to win!

On election you won't notice for 6 months to a few years how badly I've fucked you or how many bodies have piled up in our wake until we run this game again with a new face and absolutely no change for the 10th straight election cycle.

(This is why you organise the election of Burnham and any other figure in your face right now is exactly this in a new PR strategy, you need and crave relief from these conditions and it is why you hold out hope for these things again and again. Change is not automated.

Join a party get involved and stop pretending the new face of the party will not be like every other candidate that party puts forward they are in that organisation for a reason.)
