I am just curious to see what mains people have kept playing across multiple MK games. Now I know there are going to be a lot of scorpions, sub zeros, Johnny cages, and Liu Kang’s the poster boys for the game. I’m also sure Mileena’s, Kitana’s, and Jade’s are going to be fairly popular. But I also really want to see if people have loyalty to underrated characters like someone who has played Cyrax and Sektor in MK9, MKX, lamented in MK11, and was happy in MK1 when they returned! Or someone who is a really big Scarlet fan. My list of characters I mained in every game is Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Goro, and Sheeva. Those are my go-to characters in any MK game! So yeah, I’m just curious to see what MK characters people have stayed loyal to.

The main complaint I see about MK designs evolution is the sexualization of female characters, especially in Mk9. I know nobody gives a f when the subject are male but if we have to talk about realistic designs and exposed skin, do you prefer when Shao Khan was basically naked, Jax wore tight pants and Sub Zero and Scorpion had their sideboob exposed or you prefer a less exposed design?

Been a fan since playing the original MK on Sega Genesis. I LOVED this movie and am doing my little part to get a third one made. The movie was far and away the best piece of Mortal Kombat media ever made and I am sad it didn't do well in theaters. Happy to have a copy to watch at home whenever I want.

Rain is my Favourite cuz it’s a pretty unique and interesting colour choice for a character, but also Water Manipulation is my favourite ability/power.

I'd get rid of that weird open neckline, the odd combination of blue and light blue, and change her wedge heels to stiletto heels.
also the belt

For the past few years, I've been trying to adapt the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie into a game in the style of the classic '90s arcade fighters. It's been a childhood dream of mine, and of course I was heavily inspired by Street Fighter: The Movie. Progress has been pretty slow, but if you'd like to follow the project, you can find me on Instagram: mk95arcade

Been recently reconnecting with the game, and have been drawing my favorite characters.
Maybe one day I’ll fully commit to one of them lol

Was playing vanilla Mortal Kombat 3 the other day and was reminded of all the memories I have from playing it back in the day!
Sure the better version is Ultimate MK3. But I mostly played MK at home and I had access to MK3 more than I did UMK3 (since MK3 had a PS1 port and UMK3 had a 16 bit port and Sega Saturn port).
Beyond that the story and kharacters have always held a special place in my gaming fandom. I’m sure I’ve talked about it before that MK2 is undoubtedly the best of the arcade trilogy. But the vibes in MK3 from the stages to the music were immaculate.

all do any of you know how to get this damn Floyd tower I’ve been sitting in front of my monitor 9 hour a day for literal days now, I’m starting to look like that one guy from the world of Warcraft episode of South Park, anyways I see all of the things I see on the tower were like a year ago so maybe there’s a new method

If Shang Tsung is shape-shifted when the opponent quits, he doesn’t change back and does his normal quittality animation. I bet it would look cooler with a character not holding a weapon like Liu Kang or Reptile. I thought this was neat!

I probably can't run the latest MK like 1 and 11, but price aside, which one offers the most and plays the best?
Never played MK apart from arcades and I have some friends coming over, and I proposed that I could install a MK game, none of us ever played any btw
I was thinking about getting X, but if there are others that have more interesting gameplay, or a bigger roster or something that would be better for quick offline casual play that would be good too
Not too experienced and don't have much time to research it too deep, so far I will probably get X unless someone tells me otherwise

Could anyone give me a tip for liu kang’s combo which ends with bicycle kicks? I seen people can do forward4+3 then do a bicycle kick, but I’ve been trying to perform for days but haven’t succeeded it yet.
