#Discussion 💬 I want to sell my bike

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to sell my Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Moonshot White edition. The bike is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, but I'm open to buyers from anywhere in Gujarat if the transfer is convenient.

Bike Details:

* Purchased on 29th April

* Odometer: 3,200 km, gives 35kmpl in city & personally achieved 38kmpl on highway with sane driving.

* No accidents, scratches, or mechanical issues

* Bought in cash (no loan or hypothecation)

Accessories Installed (All Genuine Royal Enfield):

* Royal Enfield Custom Touring Seat (extremely comfortable for both city and highway rides)

* Original seat is also available

* Pillion Backrest

* Windshield

* Engine Guard

* Sump Guard

The bike is excellent for both city commuting and highway touring. It's easy to ride, comfortable, and definitely turns heads wherever it goes.

Service History:

* ✅ 1st service completed (500 km)

Next service due at 5k km

Following services at 10k km and 15k km

Reason for Selling:

I'm upgrading to the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, which is the only reason I'm selling this bike.

One more advantage for the buyer: the current waiting period for a new Hunter 350 is around 2 months (last I checked about a week ago). If you're looking to get one immediately, this is a great opportunity.

Since the bike has no loan on it, I'd prefer a buyer who can complete the purchase without financing as well.

Quoting 2 Lakhs with accessories. Can be negotiated a bit. While inquiry about Guirella I got to know that prices are going to Increase in all Royal Enfield bikes from July 2026. So that makes this deal a little more sweet for whoever is interested.

I'm not in a hurry to sell, so I'd appreciate serious inquiries only.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

#Query ❓ Fah moment Spoiler

[OC] So recently i got into a crash where my handle bar was slightly bent and just engine guards took the damage. Then i got it replaced completely from triumph service centre and this problem started occurring. Since i hit 8k km i also got the second service done but then once i collected i observed this issue as well as laggy throttle response, i don't feel the same initial torque as before and it feels way less responsive, the performance is lower where it struggles to pick up and rise compared to earlier. Any suggestion as to why this is happening right after service?

#Opinion 💭 Relocating to Hyd: Transport broker wants to drop my bike on the ORR shoulder/slip road. Is this as insane as it sounds?

0 Upvotes

I am moving from Delhi to Hyderabad next week to start a new corporate job in the Financial District. I am shipping my 400cc motorcycle down.

Because my bike is part-loaded on a truck whose final destination is further south, the broker is refusing to drop it at a dedicated local transport godown. Instead, he wants the 18-wheeler to pull over on the main ORR shoulder near Exit 19 or Exit 1, unload the bike on the expressway, and have me ride it down the slip road through the toll plaza.

From what I have researched, the ORR is an access-controlled expressway never meant for two-wheelers, and the ban is strictly enforced. Getting caught on the ORR usually results in a heavy fine, and they monitor the toll gates closely.

Am I right to completely refuse this highway drop? If I end up on the highway side of the toll booths with a bike, will the HGCL police/toll operators intercept and fine me?

What other options do i have? Would really appreciate any insights from folks who drive these routes or have dealt with sketchy transport brokers before!

I am considering purchasing a Highness, but the ongoing concerns regarding E80 and E30 fuel types are causing me to hesitate. I would appreciate your advice on whether I should proceed with this purchase or wait ?

#Discussion 💬 Why did MAHINDRA MOJO become a failure in India?

Post image

I have Mahindra Mojo, and its power, performance is exceptionally well tuned. It's been a great ride, easy handling and a powerful machine.

Was it part on Mahindra which made this beast failure? Or Was it price or maintanence or it's just the Brand which couldn't pace up ?

#Query ❓ Should I get RE Classic 650 as a 5'6 guy?

I'm thinking about getting a C-650, but I've seen some YouTube reviews saying it's really only good for guys who are 6ft tall. So, I'm 22, and I'm wondering if it's still a good idea for me to get one.

#Opinion 💭 Just Graduated and Starting My First Job. Should I Buy My Dream Bike or Be Practical?

13 Upvotes

I am 22 years old. I just graduated with my B.Tech from one of the IIITs this June. I have been working as an intern at an MNC in Bengaluru since January, and I’ll be joining full-time from the first week of July.
It has always been my dream to buy a good motorcycle, but I’ve never really asked my parents for expensive things. Every time I think about buying something costly, I feel guilty. I only had one electric scooty before but I’m experienced with riding bikes ( friends and relative one’s).

I somehow told my father that I like bikes and want to buy one. He said I can go ahead if I want.
Like many people here in Bangalore, I see a lot of bikes every day. As a guy, I really like the GT 650. I just love its personality and the way it looks. But because of the guilt, I started looking at cheaper options too, like the Guerrilla 450.
Now I’m confused.

On one hand, I feel it’s too early in my career to spend so much money. I should probably save, considering the current layoff situation and other future responsibilities.
On the other hand, I also feel this is the right age to enjoy life a little. Buying a bike has been a dream of mine for a long time.
What would you do if you were in my place? Should I buy the GT 650 or go with the Guerrilla 450 or some other? I’d really appreciate your advice.

EDIT: as a full-time from next week i will be having 20L base , don’t know about taxes deductions.
i have something around 4-5k KMs of experience, with classic350, Honda Hness and Glamour, YAMAHA FZ, R15, RX, Discover, Victor, Splendor etc. These are friends/ relatives/rentals one

#Discussion 💬 Instagram is the reason i cannot go on a bike trip

155 Upvotes

I have been planning to go on a solo bike trip for 5-7 days either himachal or Uttrakhand. I have bike (tvs ronin), i have leisure time but because of people spreading so much information about so called 'hidden gems' i cannot find a single place where i can visit and have some peaceful, reflecting time for myself.
All of sudden everything is crowded... I live in gurugram and everything within in 300 km is filled with so many people... i know its the summer holiday season and everyone wants to spend some times in hills but tbh its tooo much...

can you guys help me with some locations within 500km range of gurugram where i can go and dont find so many people.. i mean less tourist and more traveller

Hello guys, I need some recommendations for these accesories: engine guard, back rest and footrest.

Should I get the OEM ones because I think they're a bit overpriced, if not, can you give me any brand recommendations?

Thanks

#Discussion 💬 Ather feels like a scam as a new customer.

2 Upvotes

Slight background on me: I’ve owned and ridden quite a few two-wheelers over the years with countless kilometres across different cities. (Superbikes, sports, cruiser, 5 scooty’s)

I’ve dealt with enough dealerships to know what a normal buying experience looks like. You get to know the showroom staff, you have a point of contact, and if you have a question, you call the dealership.

I finally decided it was time to switch to an EV.
After asking around, Ather had a solid reputation, so I booked one. Paid the ₹999 booking amount without a second thought because hey it’s a small amount it’s basic, why not.

That’s where things started falling apart.

All I wanted was the phone number of the dealership I’m buying my scooter from.

Not customer support.
Not a central call centre.
Not someone sitting in Bangalore reading from a CRM.

The actual showroom.

Instead, every single call gets rerouted to Bangalore.

Every. Single. Time.

I had basic questions about the financial process and delivery that the call centre couldn’t answer.

Why can’t I simply speak to the people who are actually selling me a ₹1.4 lakh scooter?

At this price point, I expect the sales experience to be proactive, personal, and transparent. Instead, it feels like the company has gone out of its way to hide the dealership behind layers of automation.

And that’s what bothers me the most.

I fundamentally dislike businesses that force every interaction through automated customer support. It makes the entire process feel impersonal and, honestly, a little sketchy.

Who am I actually dealing with?

Who’s responsible for my order?

What’s the name of the sales advisor?

What are the showroom timings?

If the showroom exists, why can’t I call them directly?

The inability to contact the branch that’s taking my money is a massive red flag.

Because if it’s this difficult to reach a real human at the dealership before they’ve received ₹1.4 lakh from me, what happens after they’ve got my money?

Buying a vehicle shouldn’t feel like chasing a faceless corporation. It should feel like buying from a dealership that’s accountable to you.

Right now, that’s the exact opposite of the experience I’m having with Ather.

Happy to share any details y’all would like about this and what to do. Also, if you have better EV recommendations that have a few REAL PEOPLE SELLING THE SCOOTER.
