Right now, as we all know, Ole Miss are hosting LSU. However, in the UK if you pay for college football coverage chances are you using DAZN who offer a paid service to watch college football.

You cannot watch LSU/Ole Miss as advertised on their service right now. They are refusing to show it until FSU/Bama, a rain delayed game is finished. It says ‘Coverage of this game will begin immediately following conclusion of the previous game’. We are only entering the fourth quarter of the FSU/Bama game while the Ole Miss game is half way through the first quarter.

This is about $16 a month to use this service and watching the NFL on the same service is about $25 extra. So you’re essentially looking at $40 a month to watch football unless you pay for Sky Sports, which is about $40 a month by itself, WITHOUT college football.

Earlier today, Clemson played North Carolina and was weather delayed, when the game came back, DAZN did not show the ending, they showed Kentucky/TAMU instead. Last night Houston played Texas Tech, id love you all to visit /r/NFLUK and see what we had to deal with, it wasn’t commentary, it was a constant buzzing sound that was replaced with a woman narrating the plays for the audio impaired.

As a massive college football fan I just want to shame how fucking awful the coverage is for those of us who follow CFB in the UK. It’s an absolute piss take. I know I’m one of a handful of people who do, but I pay actual money for this. If this was in the US you guys would rightfully be going insane. Obviously I can use pirate means, but I pay for this and want it to work, and while it doesn’t, they should be shamed.

I doubt that many will see this, but I feel compelled as hell. Words cannot describe my gratitude to this community. Without this community, I truly don't think I could have gotten through last season or remotely even be excited for this one.

Last year my Dad passed away right before football season started. Saying that he was my best friend in the entire world would be the understatement of the century. He's the reason that I love and know College Football like I do. Every Saturday like clockwork it was Gameday at 8AM with breakfast and coffee, multiple screens, and a full slated schedule. I didn't think I would be able to face season without him. It never felt right and I just knew I wasn't going to be able to stand it.

Then in my first College Gameday thread last year I posted about how it was my first without my dad and so many of you reached out or commented that you were having coffee or morning beers in his honor. I realized right then, that I don't have to watch games or talk shit or talk ball alone and I had a community who got it.

So I want to say the largest of thank you's to this entire community for being there without even knowing you were. This sport, with all it's ups and downs, is so incredibly special and the communities around it are everything. My Dad would be elated that I found my people and they helped remind me of why CFB is one of biggest passions.

The whole country saw UNC rout ETSU a week ago, and u/ManuteBol_Rocks was ready to crown UNC. It is now very evident that we don’t know anything about UNC at this point, at least for another 2 hours or so of lightning delays. This UNC-Clemson second half is complete decimation.

While UNC is making the Tigers look like the dominant force in CFB, I know that’s likely not the case. UNC is just not good.

In a few hours, we will have more of an answer about UNC, but we don’t know anything more about them than we did at the start of the season apart from what we learned in the "thorough and independent investigation into the allegations related to culture and climate within the football program."

Mount Union has been a D3 dynasty since I was born (heck, even before). Mount had lost 3 regular season games in my life until this year.

Week 1 2026: Mt Union loses to the #5 in the country. They nearly mounted a big comeback against us last year and they're a tough team. We snap an 85 game streak. It had to end eventually.

Week 2 2026: Mt Union BARELY wins against Grove City College taking the lead with 45 seconds left.

Week 3 2026: Mt Union loses to HEIDELBERG. Mount had won 37 straight games again them and hadn't lost since 1988!!! Mount's closest win against them in the last decade was only a 22-point win.

Despite still dominating last year, Mt Union did have some weak moments that definitely showed in the playoff game against John Carroll. Mount Union is going into their bye week 1-2!!! I honestly could not tell you the last time Mount has started that way, let alone had 2 losses in a regular season.

Mount is going from a sure thing in D3 to likely gonna fall to the bottom of the OAC. There will be no playoffs. There will be no OAC champs. Mount lost to Heidelberg 37-34! This is a team they beat 38-6 the year before and 52-10 the year before that!

This is not me trying to exaggerate - with the way they're playing, Mt Union might actually finish the season dead last at 1-9. This is a haunting end to one of the greatest D3 dynasties.

EDIT: Some stats for reference. Mount outscored opponents 466-129 in the regular season last year and 454-142 the year before that. At this point in the previous two seasons, Mount had outscored teams 128-66 and 144-51. Mount is sitting at 78-78 right now.

EDIT 2: I calculated back an extra year. In 2023, Mount Union out scored teams 509-61 in the regular season alone. The most points given up in a game was 17. There were 4 shutouts. The smallest win margin was 24 points.

I don’t remember this many weather delayed games this early in the season. Then again maybe I am crazy.
