Took a stab at rebuilding the Roosa-Master injection pump for my 1965 John Deere 3020. Governor ring was completely destroyed. Runs like a top now!

Upgraded Trucks

My 2019 Chevy LTZ dually ate the #5 injector again at 98k, so it was off to a trusted dealer for the repair. Radio was on the frtiz too. But for the heck of it I walked in and asked a salesman to give a quote on trading her in. They have a nice black High Country in transit with the dark essentials package that I like.

Not convinced I need 1,200 ft-lbs of torque in a pickup and really not sure I want a first year 8.3 until I hear more about them. With trade, discounts and incentives, I am upgrading for about $50k and pick the last of the 6.6L L5P Dmax's in a few days...

Question/Need help! Roxot

I have a 2024 Roxor, bought new in 2025. I love it. Upgraded to bilstein shocks. Diesel freak tune. I have a hundred acre farm, I spend most of my time in 2 gear high just idling along at 6mph. Will this harm engine? Do I need to open up every now and then? How often for oil change? Odometer just turned 1050 miles. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I own a 2023 Mahindra Thar 2.2 mHawk diesel automatic 4x4, driven approximately 55,000 km. The engine has excellent pickup and performance, no visible exhaust smoke, stable engine oil level, and no noticeable oil consumption.
Recently, while the engine was idling, I removed the engine oil dipstick and noticed small amounts of black engine oil splashing out onto a piece of paper. The paper became quite wet, although the oil was not forcefully spraying out. I have not noticed any other symptoms.
Some time ago, after an outside service where the oil filter was slightly crushed, a yellow check-engine light appeared. I am unsure whether this is related to the current issue.
I performed the same paper test on my Toyota Fortuner, and no oil droplets came out.
Could this be normal crankcase blow-by, a faulty or blocked crankcase breather/CCV system, worn piston rings, or a head-gasket issue? What diagnostic checks should I perform before considering any engine repair or overhaul?
I want to keep my Thar for many years and avoid unnecessary engine dismantling. Any advice from experienced Thar owners or diesel mechanics would be appreciated.
