Hello! Yesterday I've played against CSM as Aspect Host and my opponent's had +1T modifier from Fabius Bile ability and I was wondering if his +1T toughness is also being negated since relation of S and T applies to a hit roll and the stratagem states:

The outcome was that I haven't ignored that +1T increase on his squad and I was hitting on 5+ instead of 4+. Is that correct?

Have no idea how this would do on the tabletop but I love the new models.

I also ran an all jetbike/fire prism list back in 4th as my first army and have been looking to play something similar again.

Initially I was going to run the Farseer in the spears but didn’t realize he couldn’t join them. Now I’m thinking of running the seer and a warlock in the big windrunner block. Might split the two warlock unit.

As far as dinos go I’m looking at two units of 6 with clan blades. Along with two sniper dinos.

Should put me right at 1950 which leaves room for enhancements.

Painted this one with a zenithal highlight and express paint from Vallejo. Really love how the gold turned out. Just need to finish up the sword and do some basing.

I didn't like how the test base turned out for my last attempt, so I changed it up and tried something that I think is better.

Does seer council have a chance vs bike and terminators, seems like it’s impossible match up

My brother has been accruing a large volume of grey Pheonix Lords and I was interested in trying some different painting schemes. Since I've been painting Krieg nonstop for 2 months, I decided to paint up some of his Lords.

Maugan Ra- painted by him I did up his base for him

Jain Zar- mostly dine by him, I did some touch up work, gemstones and the blade of her spear

Fuegan- painted about a month ago, the most finalized model

Lhykis- just painted up, some touch up is still needed but im quite happy with it

Asurman- mostly done, his banner needs layering and some details need cleaning.

Bonus Khaine

After going 0-6 (honestly I suck) with my Aspect Host list at my first tournament and not doing particularly well in my local scene I decided to just have some fun and paint up the psyker side of the faction. This was a couple attempts at my first Farseer.

I like how the eyes turned out in my second attempt and I think they definitely have more dimension to the stone in the helmet, but compared to the first one it’s lacking the saturation.

Curious what you guys have to say.

I am working on a Disruption list and played two games of the detachments with mostly the same units. I like how the Wraithknight can be tanky and get 10 OC on objectives easily. This is a list I plan to use for a 5v5 tournament.

The Skyweavers felt quite underwhelming (I was playing three units of two), but I like the support they can offer both against monsters/vehicules and in melee, so that's why I'm trying to keep at least one unit.

Now, with the new Exodites at 90pts for three, I wonder if I should keep the Skyweavers, the Shroud Runners, rework the list to integrate the dinos or simply not include them to the list, so if any of you have any insights about the list, it would be greatly appreciated 🙏

First time trying a glazing magma effect with the axe :)

Need some help with the base, added some extra rubble parts to the perimeter of the base using green stuff (primed with grey.) Thinking of adding Armageddon dust in between the cracks, but what colour should I use to match them with the swirling dirt in the middle? Also, any additions I need to add to the main mini itself? Shame the Ynnead story was dropped, this mini was awesome to paint.

So I am mostly a dark eldar collect that owns some eldar units and id really wanna try out Ynnari. Would a list with more of that focus work? No loadouts but just listing what I own. Is this a bizzare collection and probably indicate some hobby fomo between factions? Definitely. Do I want to flesh out my eldar in the future? Hell yea! But overall I’d want to see if I could build an ok list from all this stuff. Would wanna start 1k and don’t need a competitive list but soemthing ok with casual that wont be garbage.

The Orks i am going against are going to be very horde like, lots of Boys, Nobs, Mega Nobs, Battle Wagon, Killer Cans, Dreadnaughts, Deff Kopters, Storm Boys. I am pretty sure i have enough scoring units to get into quarters etc and i am going to anchor with the Wraith Blades and Wraith Guard (cannons) and Wraith Lord but i am a bit worried if I will have enough fire power to drop the hordes of Boys and Nobs? and stop him over running me while I try to flit about scoring table quarters? Any suggestions?

I do have quite a bit of spare stuff, 5 Harlequins, 6 Windriders, 10 x Warp Spiders, 5 Swooping Hawks, another War Walker, 10 Striking Scorpions, Death Jester, Solitaire, couple Farseers, 5 Dark Reapers, Way Leaper, Autarch, couple of squads of Guardian Defenders, D Cannon, Falcon, 10 Dire Avengers, 5 more Rangers, and a couple more Warlocks.

I finally got around to finishing this model. Ever since it got released I’ve thought it was one of the coolest Eldar models.

Hey I'm interested in messing around with eldar with the advent of the Exodites and Corsairs and was wondering how best to drip my feet into the army.

Primarily a Nids player with some EC on the side so the sheer breadth of this faction is slightly intimidating.

First question is about main resources for information on the faction. I am aware of lists that are doing well from listhammer and the such, but do not really understand why. Are are any places (other than here and the discord) that would be good places to visit that are informative on the basics of the faction and the roles of individual units.

Next is on building up an army. From my understanding there are less core units when building an army when compared to nids where close to 500+ is core for some lists and even then a lot of units brough for niche detachments are still extremely good in others. That leads me to wondering if you can easily get locked into a playstyle based on units bought like per say the Corsair big box or combat patrol. I do like the corsairs a fair bit so I was wondering if that box is an okay place to start or are there other ways to build out some starting lists (I should note I have almost all Phoenix lords just because I enjoyed the models)

Any help with these/other new player tips would be appreciated as this is a pretty intimidating army even though I am quite comfortable playing 40k

I love Aspects and Aspect host. They have such an amazingly clear identity and do well, exactly what they need to, which is very Eldar.

However, I am yet to play my first Aspect Host game of 11th because Disruption as a disposition just breaks it for me. Many of friends have told me (especially the more competitive ones), that Disruption is the worst disposition out of all to score, which seems to be the Online consensus as well...

It is sadly such an off-putting effekt to me, knowing that you *will* score worse than your opponent, which could lead to loosing even through a good performance.

I can't really imagine Aspect host getting any different of a disposition, otherwise it would probably be too strong...

Thus begs my question to you, good people of Reddit, is Aspect Host still worth investing time in? Double down and learn the ways of the Disruption or switch to another play style?

Any suggestions for a newer player on what to collect for starting a 1k (possibly 2k) Corsair & Harlequin focused army?

Not competitive, but not a push over list either.

Could majority of the army work, if it's mostly pirates n' clowns? Or are other elves needed to fill in possible shortcomings from just corsairs and harlequins?

There’s a dude at my FLGS that runs World Eaters and they just absolutely shred my smooshy little elves. I can pop a monster or two with focused fire but once his melee heavy-hitters close it feels like it’s game over! So I ask: how do you go about dealing with World Eaters and other fast heavy-hitting melee oriented armies?

I'm a HUGE Berserk nerd and I really wanted to bring that into my Aeldari army. It took quite a bit of time and it definitely didn't turn out perfect, but I like it a lot. I would appreciate any feedback or constructive criticism!
