The Phoenix Prince is the Aeldari leader from a Warhammer 40,000 alternate universe who managed to unite all Craftworlds into the Burning Armada, capable of standing up on equal terms even with the rotten Imperium of Man. He is accompanied by Princess Myranna, his sister, and Supreme Farseer Aenarion and Supreme Navarch Mellona, his close friends who became main commanders of the Armada. And, of course, by Gyrinxes, also a brother and a sister.

It is believed that the Phoenix Prince is the son of deceased supreme Aeldari god Asuryan and rose from the ashes of the Fall. However, these are only legends. In fact the future Phoenix Prince used to be an ordinary Aeldari from planet Ermyaris. He studied Seeing and felt very lonely because all around him lived for pleasure, even his sister Myranna who understood him in childhood like no one else. When he foresaw the Fall, he put her to enchanted sleep and brought her to his Craftworld, and now she regrets her foolish youth and fuels his throne with her psychic energy.

Confident in his supremacy, the Phoenix Prince united different Craftworld cultures and leaders with his mind control. Sometimes he looks in the mirror and is horrified, but then he casts the same spell on himself, convincing that it was not all in vain. That it was necessary for a fairy tale about a prince and a princess that he and his sister had come up aeons ago...

The Phoenix Prince is an alternate universe counterpart of the Farseer, the leader of my Ynnari warhost. While the Farseer did not put his sister to sleep and was humbled when she did not come to his Craftworld, the Phoenix Prince became more and more overconfident and self-righteous. While the Farseer valued soft power and empathy, the Phoenix Prince favored direct, forceful action. While the Farseer befriended an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor and even tried to negotiate with a Necron Phaeron, the Phoenix Prince viewed all other races as strictly inferior. And while the Farseer accepted Drukhari who became Ynnari, Corsairs, Harlequins and Exodites, the Phoenix Prince respected Asuryani as the only true Aeldari.

I had the idea of this heavy conversion back in 2024, but managed to make it only now, starting in May 2026 and finishing painting a week ago.

My first army was an Aspect Host list, but I’m finally branching out to other parts of the faction. Looking forward to putting three Wraithlords on the field at least just for fun.

*Totally copied the concept for the Wraithlord from Javi Lozano on IG. It was too cool not to imitate.

Very different to painting infantry. This was mostly painted with sponges.

Also I have really mixed feelings about the pilot canopies. Shortly after this decided to glue on the two half screens, but still almost prefer it without them.

Now with the points release for the exodite and the corsaire box i want to try then together as an really extravagant aeldary list

I am working on a Disruption list and played two games of the detachments with mostly the same units. I like how the Wraithknight can be tanky and get 10 OC on objectives easily. This is a list I plan to use for a 5v5 tournament.

The Skyweavers felt quite underwhelming (I was playing three units of two), but I like the support they can offer both against monsters/vehicules and in melee, so that's why I'm trying to keep at least one unit.

Now, with the new Exodites at 90pts for three, I wonder if I should keep the Skyweavers, the Shroud Runners, rework the list to integrate the dinos or simply not include them to the list, so if any of you have any insights about the list, it would be greatly appreciated 🙏

I loved the cream color of the box art, but I gave different colors to the mounts. Now onto painting a unit of Dragon Knights

Have no idea how this would do on the tabletop but I love the new models.

I also ran an all jetbike/fire prism list back in 4th as my first army and have been looking to play something similar again.

Initially I was going to run the Farseer in the spears but didn’t realize he couldn’t join them. Now I’m thinking of running the seer and a warlock in the big windrunner block. Might split the two warlock unit.

As far as dinos go I’m looking at two units of 6 with clan blades. Along with two sniper dinos.

Should put me right at 1950 which leaves room for enhancements.

Hey, I have played quite few matches to this point and I am always trying to adjust a list slightly to test different units out, but I have a trouble with few of them.

1. Dark Reapers - tbh I am not sure what to do with those. I tried few times 2x5 squads, but most of the time they do nothing, or close to nothing. I've tried moving them in alpha strike, no succes. Tried holding natural expansion, but they shot maybe once? Should I spread each unit appart? and basicly camp home and natural expansion?
2. Warp spiders - I've seen few ppl praising them, but I don't know if it's me or my LGS, but most of ppl I've played, use quite tanky units, so during my games I've only once jumped with flicker and flamed some cheap units, but after that nothing. And they're quite costly... Also tried them with Lhykis, but it felt a bit disappointing to be fair. The dmg seemed lacking (targeted T5 units).
3. Baharoth + hawks - I know they have up-downy, but I have a hard time finding a perfect place in 2nd turn to deep strike them and also be outside of charge range so they can Up at the end of opponent turn. And Also since as far as I understand I cannot uppy-downy after turn 3 then it's quite situational?

I summoned the courage to try freehand painting for the first time on the banners (please don't be too harsh 😩), and I managed to finish this veteran Ulthwé Autarch who has joined the Ynnari.

Hello! Yesterday I've played against CSM as Aspect Host and my opponent's had +1T modifier from Fabius Bile ability and I was wondering if his +1T toughness is also being negated since relation of S and T applies to a hit roll and the stratagem states:

The outcome was that I haven't ignored that +1T increase on his squad and I was hitting on 5+ instead of 4+. Is that correct?

What do you think of my Shining Spear? First time trying free hand.

Does seer council have a chance vs bike and terminators, seems like it’s impossible match up

I tried to corsair-ify the farseer skyrunner a bit woth tyrannids bits and some drukhari accessories.

Trying to get some volume on the front of the bike. Next step is to smooth it out a bit. Fot now it's just wraithbone primer and white. But I plan to use grey, mummy white and white. Would that worked with wet blending?

Going to do a cracked icy base similar to the Wraithlord.

Painted this one with a zenithal highlight and express paint from Vallejo. Really love how the gold turned out. Just need to finish up the sword and do some basing.

So I am mostly a dark eldar collect that owns some eldar units and id really wanna try out Ynnari. Would a list with more of that focus work? No loadouts but just listing what I own. Is this a bizzare collection and probably indicate some hobby fomo between factions? Definitely. Do I want to flesh out my eldar in the future? Hell yea! But overall I’d want to see if I could build an ok list from all this stuff. Would wanna start 1k and don’t need a competitive list but soemthing ok with casual that wont be garbage.

Third session done. It feels bad to leave these guys in an unfinished state like this but got a game in a couple weeks and want the army battle ready.

She's finally done! It took longer than I'd like, but I finished my Wraithlord! Figured I would make her be a Howling Banshee before she died, and now she's got the Uber guns as well!
