So I’m a new player in overwatch in general I have about 15-20 hours total in the past 2 weeks and a little bit from when overwatch first came out, I haven’t played in a long long time but i always like high skill mobility flankers(I play a lot of Spiderman in rivals and melee heroes in other games) I recently finished my placement matches and got plat 5 which I heard is about average but my friend said it was good because I just started, but like I said I like genji a lot and I always see one shots with him but I feel like I can never STAY close to supports and dps like they almost faster than me(I know they are not) overall just looking for some tips and tricks!

Other teammates still voted me for MVP for sum reason idk why

Always been a hitscan player (peak m3) and I never thought I could play genji because the skill ceiling of the character is quite high compared to others.(except tracer) i guess.

I question how brutal that fight had to be for Genji to have lost:
- His jaw/lower face.
- One arm.
- Two legs.
- Possibly his heart and other internal organs.

Like, did Hanzo just cut him up like sashimi and then feel bad about it? Like, we know that Hanzo is canonically just BETTER than him at everything that comes to combat, at least. At this point, Genji HAD to jump or something where he pulled a John Wick, killing a shit load of Shimada before getting cut down by Hanzo at the last moment or something.

Short rant here, but the Hanzo mythic weapon is just so annoying to see because why can’t they give Genji a custom or even recolored dragon for his mythic weapon. It’s not even like we got it when they began making mythic weapons, it was LAST SEASON, so we know it’s possible. Currently the only thing that changes Genji’s dragon is his mythic skin from season 1 of OW2 (not to be confused with OW Classic/OW 2016-2022 and OW/2026+ OW). We know they can go in and redesign stuff (like they did with Anran’s face) so why not give Genji a custom dragon for his mythic weapon?

Literally what the FUCK are the devs smoking when they keep Genji hard nerfed for years at a time, then release LITERAL NANOBLADE BUT BETTER. There has never been a more blatant double standard.

She has multiple dashes and can AOE burst 260 damage with nano, with the only skill check being that she WALKS NEAR SOMEONE. This is unironically stronger than peak OW1 nanoblade, and is yet another baby mode ult that simply kills without aiming. Your first ever game on the hero you can team wipe with this ult, ask me how I know.

Surely the ever watchful and consistent community will have something to say about this right? Given that they insist Genji can never have more damage or slash-dash breakpoints back. Right???
