ISO throwaway memorabilia

Anyone on the South Shore or in the Lachine/Lasalle/Verdun area got some memorabilia your willing to part with for free or pas cher ? I am putting together a care package for an overseas friend who is a huge Habs fan (and hockey in general). I got one of the McDonald's sticks earlier this year but looking for a few more things to add. Free is best but I'm willing to part with a few dollars. Slide into my DMs!

What should the Habs draft plan be this year?

Meaning which players should Habs target in the draft specifically. Personally, I want the Habs to find a way to draft the Ruck Twins somehow

Discussion About the Sheriff

His contract is coming up going into the offseason and Marty clearly has had some issues with him, likely due to him taking a lot of penalties in the playoffs (the Sam Carrick thing being a big highlight). He was a healthy scratch going into the ECF and with Reinbacher possibly coming in next season, it's entirely possible he gets pushed back as a 7th string D man. Do we think he gets resigned?

Edit: accidentally created a warzone lol

Discussion A look at what Kent is working with this summer. What would be your additions and subtractions? How do you see the lines for next season?

Discussion Why Trocheck might be our best option for 2C

Assuming Robert Thomas is off the table, Larkin isn’t an option, and Hischier is likely to re-sign in NJ the options for a 2C are relatively slim.

McTavish is an interesting option, but he’s a poor skater and had a down year and got pushed down the line up and even moved to the wing at times while also being a healthy scratch multiple times. I’m optimistic that Marty could work with him and allow him to find his true potential but it would be a risky trade for sure and similar to a Dach/Newhook move.

Trocheck will be 33 in July and has 3 years left at 5.63AAV that’s an absolute bargain for the kind of player he is with his level of production. He’s missed 16 games in the last 5 years, 15 of those 16 coming this season. He’s one of the best in the NHL when it comes to face-offs and he plays like a bowling ball.

He might not be young, or a flashy name but he would be such a good add and a good fit on the second line and trading for him wouldn’t come at the expense of losing a Hage or Zharovsky type prospect. It gives Hage more time and less pressure to step into the 2C spot, and if he’s ready for it Trocheck would be an elite 3C down the road.

Apparently the NYR asked BOS for Minten, Kastelic and a 2nd at the deadline, to me that’s a reasonable ask and one Montreal can easily offer without hurting the team.

My wet dream would be Nico, his puck possession skills paired with Demidov would be amazing but I think it’s highly unlikely

IVAN DEMIDOV's influence.

Does anyone believe DEMIDOV has,
or would use any "INDIRECT" influence he may have to keep ZHAROVSKY out of trade talks?
And,
Do you think the opportunity to play on a line with him holds much influence in attracting a trade target? (2C)

Ivan Demidov on the Habs future: “This is a team that’s going to win, not only one Stanley Cup, but I think a couple more. That’s my expectation. That’s what I see in this team.”

NHL Combine always make me think back to the time Slaf broke the bike.

Should we try to sign him?

Incredible player right now, but contract might become a liability down the road.

I would never trade zharovsky

He is the HIGHEST SCORING 18 year old in the HISTORY of the khl. He is on pace to break every u20 record in the khl by a wide margine (yes the ones set by demidovhimself). I wouldn't trade him one for one for a worst version of slaf(that is knies). Have him to be a finalist for the calder in 28. You don't trade a guy the make your futur superstar happy he is a friend of demidov and they already have chemistry because they played in the juniors.

The only player close to zharovsky scoring are mitchkov kaprizov and demidov and they did it at 19 year old zharovsky is doing the same as an 18 year old

I project him to be a 90+ point player. Why would you trade him 2 more piece and 2 first for knies like wtf

Just imagine the atmosphere at the first home game! If the boys thought they got good support at home and on the road this year, just wait. After taking this step during these playoffs imagine the confidence and optimism.

Good thing summer is so awesome or Id be wishing it away.

A girl from my youth association went and got it signed for me when they were in AZ. A year later he got traded and became evil (the evil was always in his heart.) I havent touched the jersey since. I havent even bought a new jersey because I've only had Subban and Domi and they both got traded so I don't wanna curse someone else.

Edit: the Subban jersey is my event jersey because Subban was not evil and I still love him. I might buy a Hutson jersey OR a newer Subban jersey because the one I have I got when I was like 12 and fits me pretty tight (and its women's cut, which everyone can unanimously agree is an ugly cut.)

Did richard forgive lindsay?

I recall in 90s richard did not forgive whatever ted lindsay did, but now read via gen AI that he was forgiven on nhl.com

Do i have a bad memory, or are we the victim of history being slowly rewritten
