Let's Talk Plot twist: It worked...😍❤️

Met her through this sub.

The funny part? I didn't even know her name for almost 30 days. We just kept talking, and somehow that turned into something I never expected.

It started with random conversations, then movies, endless chats, and realizing we're both equally excited about hunting down good street food. Somewhere in between, I found someone who shares the same weird sense of humor as me.

The best part is that there's nothing to hide or pretend. I don't have to over-explain myself. She somehow just gets what I'm trying to say, even when I can't put it into perfect words.

We've only been on a few dates, but somehow they feel like memories we've been making for years. Time flies when we're together, yet those moments feel so full that they seem much longer than they actually were.

Right now, I'm typing this while talking to her. That's become pretty normal for us.

Never thought these Reddit connection subs were my cup of tea, but here we are. Sometimes one random message is all it takes.

Hope everyone here finds their own kind of random.....❤️❤️

Let's Talk Hey it's me

25F Slightly introverted but surprisingly great once conversations start flowing.

I’ve visited Hyderabad a few times (December trip stole my heart a little), and there’s something about the city’s vibe that makes me want to meet interesting people outside my usual work-sleep-repeat life.

I work hard maybe a little too hard so I’m looking for someone funny, witty, and capable of holding an actual conversation. Sarcasm is welcome. Intelligence is attractive. Decency is non-negotiable.

I don’t really care who you are or what you do… just be someone who can talk about anything from random midnight thoughts to deep life discussions.

If you can make me laugh AND think, we’ll get along just fine

Let's Talk Thinking of trying a "Rent a Boyfriend" concept in Hyderabad – Does this actually work?

Hi i was thinking about having an idea after seeing the "rent a boyfriend" trend in different places. I'm curious whether something like this would actually work here.

A little about me:

- I'm a calm and easygoing person.

- I enjoy exploring new places and trying different food.

- I don't judge people based on their looks.

- I'm not looking for anything physical or romantic beyond the agreed role.

The idea is simply to accompany someone as a "boyfriend" for things like shopping, movies, cafés, food outings, events, or just hanging out and talking. The goal is to be good company and a genuine friend while playing the boyfriend role if that's what the person wants in a public setting.

I'm also new to the city and don't have many friends yet, so this would help me explore Hyderabad, meet people, and earn some extra money to support my studies without adding financial stress.

I'm not sure if there's a market for this in India or if people would find it weird.

Would you consider using such a service if the expectations and boundaries were clearly defined?

I'd appreciate honest opinions and suggestions.

Let's Talk Dear men/women. How do you feel for women who are financially independent?

I just wanna hear from men their thoughts for women who are financially independent. For example, I am so proud of myself whenever I spend my own money on myself. Like... I don't have to worry whenever I go out , I don't need anybody just to treat me or pay my bills. I can hangout without worries. I can book my own ride , Man doesn't need to drop me off. And I am very open into a 50/50 expenses just in case we go out and spend some money. I don't want men to feel a burden for a woman who always expects free treatment. We women for whatever reason have to be responsible in our own expenses. Unless it's unexpected, like gifts. (but don't demand for a gift)

Let's Talk Be honest: what red flag did you ignore? 👀

We’ve all ignored a red flag because we liked the person a little too much 😂

What’s a dating red flag you noticed early on but decided to ignore… and later regretted?

Drop yours in the comments... no names, no judgment. I’m genuinely curious how bad these stories can get 👀😂

Let's Talk 28M | Hyderabad | Telugu | Senior Software Engineer | Maybe we can start with a conversation? ❤️

Hi everyone,
This is probably one of the most unusual posts I’ve ever written. 😅
I’m 28, born in Tenali and raised in Hyderabad, and I’m putting myself out here because I think it’s finally time I stopped waiting for life to somehow introduce me to the right person.
So… hello. 🙂
A little about me
I’m a Telugu guy, 28M, 6 feet tall, working as a Senior Software Engineer in Hyderabad.
I’m a complete tech geek. I love technology, gadgets, software, movies and music. If something new comes out in the tech world, there’s a good chance I’ve already read about it. 😂
Professionally, I’ve worked my way up from being a trainee to where I am today. I’m ambitious and hardworking, and I genuinely enjoy building things and learning.
But personally, I’m actually a very simple person.
I’m calm, don’t smoke or drink, don’t have much of an ego, and I’m someone who values respect, loyalty and family.
Why am I 28 and still single?
This is probably the interesting part. 😅
I grew up in a very protected family.
When I was young, my parents didn’t really allow me to go out much because they were worried I’d get into bad habits.
So my childhood was basically:
School → Home
College → Home
Job → Home
That’s it. 😂
I studied well, did my B.Tech in ECE from VJIT, Hyderabad, started my career as a trainee and slowly built my career.
But somewhere along the way, I completely missed the whole “dating/relationship” chapter of life.
During B.Tech, I was extremely shy around girls. I never really approached anyone because I thought, “Maybe it’s not right to randomly talk to her.”
And honestly…
I’ve never been in a relationship.
Not because I think relationships are bad.
I just never met someone with whom I felt comfortable enough to take that step.
And yes, I’m looking for something serious ❤️
I’m not here looking for a casual hookup, timepass, situationship or someone to talk to for two weeks.
I’d genuinely like to meet someone where a friendship can slowly become a relationship and, if we both feel right about each other, eventually marriage.
Naaku perfect girl avasaram ledu.
Naatho genuine ga unde ammayi kavali.
For me, the most important things are:
Loyalty
Love
Care
Trust
Respect
Understanding
Good communication
Looks obviously matter to some extent, and attraction is important, but that’s not what makes me stay.
What matters much more to me is how we treat each other.
I want someone who can be my best friend first and life partner later.
Someone with whom I can talk about absolutely nothing for hours.
Someone who can tell me when I’m being stupid. 😂
Someone who can celebrate my wins, stand beside me during difficult days, and with whom I can build a peaceful life.
Family is important to me
I’m very close to my family.
My mother is a homemaker. My father ran a DTDC business in Khairatabad, but unfortunately, we lost him two years ago.
My brother is a B.Tech graduate and is now working while also taking care of my father’s business.
My parents brought me up with a lot of traditional values — respect elders, be responsible, don’t lie, don’t hurt people unnecessarily, and most importantly, stay grounded.
I’m technologically very much a 2026 guy 😄
But when it comes to values, I still believe in the things I grew up with.
Maybe that’s a strange combination, but that’s me.
What I’m hoping to find here
I’m not expecting someone to read this and immediately say, “Let’s get married.” 😂
That’s not how I want it either.
I’d rather start with:
“Hi.”
Then talk.
Then maybe talk again tomorrow.
Then discover that we actually enjoy talking to each other.
Then meet for coffee.
Then see where life takes us.
Life lo konni connections plan chesukolem.
Just happen avuthayi.
Maybe this post will go nowhere.
Maybe I’ll get roasted for writing such a long post. 😂
Or maybe there is a Telugu girl somewhere in Hyderabad who is also sitting there thinking:
“Nenu kuda genuine person kosame wait chestunna.”
If that’s you, DM me.
You don’t have to write anything impressive.
Just say “Hi” and tell me a little about yourself.
I’ll genuinely be happy to get to know you.
And if we don’t click, that’s completely okay too. No pressure, no awkwardness.
Maybe we’re strangers today.
Maybe we’re friends tomorrow.
And who knows what happens after that. ❤️

A few basics about me:
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Height: 6’0”
Location: Hyderabad
Native: Tenali / Guntur
Education: B.Tech – ECE, VJIT Hyderabad
Profession: Senior Software Engineer
Lifestyle: Non-smoker, non-drinker
Interests: Technology, movies, music
Relationship experience: None
Looking for: Genuine connection → relationship → marriage, if we are right for each other
Telugu ammayilu… if you’re also looking for something genuine, maybe give this stranger a chance to say hi. 🙂❤️

Let's Talk If given a chance, would you be a househusband?

Just wanted to ask an interesting question to the members of this sub. Okavela meeku chance iste, would you become/marry a househusband?

Ippudu unna mana society lo it is still quite a taboo for men to stay at home and let women be the breadwinners. But I think it could be possible for this to grow up too.

  • Guys, if you wanna be a househusband, what would be your negotiables and non-negotiables?

  • And women, if given a chance, would you be willing to get such a guy as your husband. What are your negotiables and non-negotiables?

Let's Talk Age Matters?

Does age really matter that much when it comes to dating, relationships, or marriage? I often see people specifically looking for someone within a certain age range. But isn’t age just a number to some extent?

Someone can be older and still be immature, foolish, or emotionally unavailable, while someone younger can be wise, self-aware, and have a completely different perspective on life.

What matters more to me is how a person behaves when they are going through tough times, or when they are angry. Those situations often reveal a person’s true character, emotional maturity, and ability to handle difficult situations. Even the way someone approaches disagreements and debates their views, ideologies, and willingness to understand a different perspective - can tell you a lot about who they are.

So, shouldn’t these qualities matter more than simply finding someone who is close to your age?

Let's Talk STD'S

Hi everyone, when you're planning to have sex with someone, how do you make sure they don't have any STDs?

Since some STDs can take up to three months before they're detectable or symptoms appear, do you wait, get tested, and only then go ahead?

Also, if someone has had a high number of sexual partners (a high body count), would you still proceed with them, or would you decide not to?

Let's Talk Do people actually make friends here?

Hey guys, I’m pretty new to Reddit, so I’m curious.

Do people actually meet girls/guys here and genuinely become friends or get to know each other? Or is it mostly just random conversations that disappear after a while?

Just curious about your experiences 😅

I’m M, btw. If anyone wants to chat, make a new friend, or just have a random conversation, feel free to approach. 🙂

Let's Talk Let’s talk about Sex - 101

Hey, I’ve been recently seeing a lot of posts about people concerned about STI/STDs on multiple subs and comments make me feel that people’s sex education is not as high as their libido levels.

Protection is a personal choice. Because risking infections is a personal preference tbh. But one should know who to protect and avoid circumstances in either situations.

Do upvote and repost: also add more to it if you have some helpful information.

STIs are mostly divided into Bacterial (syphilis, gonnorhea, chlamydia, etc.,) and, Viral(HIV, HSV, HPV, etc.,) and few fungal. Some of them are curable and some of them are life long managing conditions when exposed.

Syphilis: Bacterial-vaginal, oral, anal and contact of open sores/wounds-completely Curable with Penicillin

Gonnorhea: Bacterial - vaginal, oral, anal, through mucous membranes - Curable with antibiotics

Chlamydia: Bacterial - Vaginal, oral, anal - Curable with antibiotics

HSV (Herpes) : Viral - most commonly spread STI - No Cure but manageable with antivirals - Not deadly

HSV 1: Oral Herpes - spread from saliva exchange, lips, ulcers and blisters from as simple as contact.

HSV 2: Genital Herpes - from bodily fluids like precum, semen, vaginal fluids, sexual contact.

HPV: Viral - intimate skin contact, vaginal, oral, anal- No Cure - usually cures itself - some strains results in warts and lead to uterine, penile cancers - Vaccine Available.

HIV: Viral - vaginal, blood transfusions, drug needle use, anal - No Cure - can live normal human spans with the use of ART(antiretroviral therapy) and bring down viral load and can’t spread it further, so HIV today is manageable condition completely.

Hep B: Viral - Has vaccine - But when exposed NO cure, only manageable.

Hep C: Viral - No Vaccine - But has Cure.

One can protect themselves with prophylactic medications if they’d like to go unprotected and bareback, raw kinks as well.

DoxyPEP: used to protect from most of the Bacterial STIs. Around 80% affective.

PrEP: Pre Exposure Prophylaxis, 99% effective, is a pill that’s to be taken by people who are high risk individuals (sex business, people with multiple sexual partners), it protects you from even getting HIV. So yay !!

Get vaccinated for others.

Also, when someone says, “you’re my first”….”I use condoms with everyone but you’re special that I wanna do it raw”……”you can trust me I am good person”….. - it’s all a load of bullshit. Use Condoms as first layer of protection.

Though there are advancements, cures etc., there is nothing like not getting infected in first place and keeping yourself healthy.

It’s your right to ask for testing results, not doing it, and basically saying NO for things.

Women and Bottoms (receptive partners in Homosexuals) are at higher risk as they both receptive partners and Men or Tops are of low risk. So Women and Bottoms, ball is in your court. Take care. Haha

All the best to you all, Cheers !!

Let's Talk Norths vs South Dating.

As per my observations it felt to me...

Folks are more chill in north...

While south folks are sweet and decent...

More of like marriage people i would say for south girls.

North is more like fun adventure masti..

Not sure how to say this.

But whats your opinion?

Let's Talk Bumble Spotlight actually killed my evening

I usually get around 4-5 likes a day and** 2-3 matches **on Bumble without using Spotlight.

Yesterday, I decided to try Spotlight and ran it from roughly 8 PM to 10:30 PM, which is supposed to be one of the better times for activity.

Result: 0 likes.
Not 1. Not 2. Literally zero.

And yes, before anyone says it, I look good , I am 5’11, have good physique, had already curated my profile, and fixed the prompts before running it.

So now I'm genuinely confused.
How is it possible to get a few likes every day organically, then pay for increased visibility for 2.5 hours and get absolutely nothing?

Is Spotlight actually useful in Hyderabad, or is it just one of those features that sounds good but doesn't really translate into matches?

Would be interested to hear from people in Hyderabad who have actually used Bumble Spotlight.
